Expert verdict
In this BC.Game sportsbook review, we took a look at all the main features that make an impact regarding whether or not a sportsbook is the one for you. First, it does have a great selection of sports on offer, with a good selection of esports betting markets.
The addition of the new BC Sports Club means that there is now a loyalty program for those who are only enjoying the sportsbook. It is still pertinent to say that the casino section of this site, along with its exclusive games and online slots, is still the main focus so it would be nice to see that change.
Because of this, some of the BC.Game sports betting options are a little lacking. For instance, there’s no great bet builder nor is there the chance for partial or early cashout, which is a bit disappointing.
That being said, the site is on the rise and adding new things all the time. It’s got a great community vibe to it, which adds to the gaming feel. And, as it’s primarily crypto, players can enjoy speedy and anonymous transactions at the click of a button.
BC.Game sportsbook bonuses
We know that you’re all going to be anxious to find out exactly what the welcome bonus is at BC.Game sportsbook, that’s why we look at this category first. Ideally, we like to see a range of offers, but this site doesn’t actually have a specific one for sportsbook users. Rather the casino one appears to be carried over.
For those that want to use crypto, this is a fantastic welcome bonus as it is split across your first four deposits. Each of the four deposits has a different match deposit amount applied to the welcome bonus.
This ranges from a 180% match for the first deposit, to a 360% match for the fourth. Once you make the deposit, you are given the bonus as the sportsbook’s own BC Dollars (BCD). You can earn additional BCD through smaller promotions on the site.

The newly added BC Sports Club adds a specific bonus incentive to sports bettors. It offers cash back when certain wager targets are met each week. For instance, wagering NZ$500 or more garners a NZ$5 weekend bonus.
Bonus rating
- Large welcome offer
- BC.Game Sports Club
- Confusing wagering requirements
- No sports-specific welcome bonus
I have to say that the deposit bonus and other offers are a little confusing here. It does appear that, as the casino and sportsbook are interlinked, as soon as you sign up the deposit bonus is available to you. But it’s not clear anywhere.
That being said, the deposit bonus is a large one. Although it does award you only in BCD, the site’s own currency, which I am not sure I am a fan of. In contrast, Playzilla has a large welcome bonus that’s offered in NZD only.
Similarly, the deposit bonus from Winz.io is also awarded in NZD not crypto. However, there’s a minimum deposit of NZ$20 for this, whereas BC.Game only requires NZ$10 for that first deposit.
Where BC.Game picks up some points, is in the VIP program. Newly instated, this loyalty program has a range of options specifically for sports betting. This is something that other betting sites do appear to neglect.
Sports and markets
The next thing to look at is the betting markets available. After all, you don’t want to just have access to one or two sports. Ideally, we like to see at least 30 sports on offer for a good score here.
BC.Game has 36 sports on offer. Many of these are some of the top sports out there and include rugby, cricket, football, Aussie rules and more. Strangely for NZ, there is no racing available.
However, the site makes up for it by offering a wealth of esports betting options. These include many top events as well as some of the smaller ones. Markets for LoL, Counter Strike, DOTA 2 and more can be found here depending on the season.

Sports & markets rating
- 37 sports available
- Over 900+ soccer markets
- Lots of ice hockey markets
- No racing options
This is a solid section for BC.Game, which is impressive considering that really this site is a casino and focuses on other games like pokies from KA Gaming or a live dealer casino.
That said, there are over 30 sports here which I consider a strong start. Of course, it’s not quite as impressive as 1xBet, which has over 50, but then again, that site is solely a sportsbook so it’s to be expected.
I will say that there is a slight lack when it comes to betting markets. Even for some of the bigger sports like football, the options are just not as good as they are at ExciteWin, where you can find over 900 markets.
Nevertheless, I feel that BC.Game does a great job when it comes to eSports, potentially taking the top spot here in terms of the range of options it has on offer.
Additional market details: Perhaps unsurprisingly, one of the top sports here is football. Many of the events are listed at the top of the menu under the popular bracket. There are multiple leagues to bet on and a fair few live betting options as well.
Additional market details: As mentioned, eSports also comes very high up. It’s very well covered with multiple smaller tournaments and leagues available here too. The fact that this is a very gamified sportsbook, lends itself to focusing on eSports so it’s not too much of a surprise that this is in fact the case.
Betting features
For a better experience at an online betting site, it’s important that there are some good betting features available. We’re going to see what options BC.Game actually has to offer.
This sportsbook is actually a bit limited in this area. There are no cashout options nor is there a bet builder available in the bet slip to make things easier for you there.
There are live betting options available, but not for all sports. However, there are no live streaming features available. You can follow the scores live on the site though while placing your bets.

Finally, there is a quick bet feature on the bet slip – you just need to toggle this on before you start adding bets, ensuring you meet the minimum bet requirement. There are also system bets available.
Betting features rating
- Intuitive betslip
- Offers quick bets
- Handy wager dashboard
- No cashout available
- No live streaming
Unfortunately, this is not a strong area for BC.Game. Again, I am blaming the fact that this betting site is actually more geared toward the casino, as outlined in players’ BC Game reviews, than it is the sportsbook.
For instance, this site is completely lacking in what I consider some of the more basic features. Unlike LeoVegas, there are no cashout options, no bet builder and also no live streaming.
At least, there is live betting. However, it’s still more limited when compared to other sites and really seems to focus on some of the more popular sports and favorite games such as football.
However, there are some plus points here so it’s not all doom and gloom. BC.Game does offer both system bets and virtual bets on a range of different sports. This is something completely lacking on Wallacebet.
I was also very happy to see the Quick Bet option on the bet slip. It’s straightforward to set up and, once in place, means all your bets are placed instantly. This is great for those more urgent live bets.
Additional features: The Quick Bet feature is a great option. It means that, when toggled on, you can select a bet from the long lists of sports and it’ll automatically get placed. As such, you don’t then have to jump back to your bet slip to submit it, potentially missing out on changeable odds. The Quick Bet has multiple preset bets including maximum bet amounts.
BC.Game sports betting odds
Typically, the average payout at an NZ sportsbook should be around 95%. Anything less than this is not going to make our top score. So, let’s see how the odds stack up at BC.Game.
At the moment, the current odds available here are an average of 93.56%. This is somewhat lower than average but it’s still better than dropping below 93%, which we recommend avoiding.
Depending on the sport, you can find higher odds. For example, football tends to have more competitive odds available, especially for the Premier League or big FIFA events.
Odds facts
Category | Details |
---|---|
Average payout | 94.56% |
Boosted odds | No |
Parlay boosts | No |
Line movement | Moderate |
As is the case with all live betting, this drops down between two and three percent compared to the overall average of the site as a whole. This is an expected result though.
Odds rating
- Good in-play odds
- Decent football odds
- Below average payouts
Again, I am going to say that the casino focus is what’s letting this site down a bit. The general odds on here are just not that great. Though, with ever changing odds, it’s possible this may change for the better in the future.
I have to say, the overall average for this site is rather lacklustre. It’s below the 95 to 97% that I would really recommend. Of course, not all sites are that high, as Stake also has a payout just shy of 95% – it’s still better than BC.Game though.
Bizarrely, and also somewhat similarly to Stake, both these sites actually do better when it comes to the in-play odds. I am definitely not complaining about this though.
However, if I am to do this review properly, I have to look at the best of the best. And that’s Bet365. That site just has so many more options including boosted odds, which aren’t available on BC.Game.
I really feel that if this site put a little more focus and effort into the sportsbook it could really do well here. As it is, its’ a solid entry, just not ground-breaking anywhere.
Payment methods
To make a real money bet on Game BC, and to therefore have an enjoyable gaming experience, sports fans need access to various payment methods. We like to see at least ten options for a good score.
BC.Game sports site has 19 different payment methods. However, this is mostly geared toward crypto betting. In fact, there’s only one fiat option, Astropay, at this crypto sportsbook.
If you do choose to use fiat, then there are limits to what you can deposit. This is set at NZ$20 to NZ$2,000 while crypto has no such restrictions.
Payment facts

Number of payment methods | 19 |

Minimum deposit | NZ$20 |

Withdrawals are fast due to the option of cryptocurrency. However, there are network fees in place, typically 0.1%, which need to be considered when heading to claim any winnings. On the flip side though, all deposits across the board are instant. This means you can get started with crypto betting very quickly once you’ve made a deposit on BC.Game sports.

Payments rating
- Fast transactions
- Low minimum deposit
- Many crypto networks
- Only one fiat payment
- Withdrawal fees
This is more like it! BC.Game is managing to pull things back a little with an excellent selection of cryptocurrency payment options. There are 18 different options to choose from.
Now, this is so much better than the five options offered by BetVictor. The only thing is, BetVictor does offer more fiat options (but there are no cryptos), so this really is down to preference for payment methods.
Again, BC.Game does well here as it has very fast withdrawals. This is definitely better than the three-day turnaround offered by Betway – again, no crypto is available there so that is why.
However, the fact that this is a crypto sportsbook is part of the reason for the lower score as there are fees in place. This is something not found on most of the other sportsbooks.
Safety features
As you’re going to be giving your private data to BC.Game sportsbook, it is essential to ensure that you’re data is protected. As such, we look at all the security protocols in place.
First, BC.Game sports site has a Curaçao licence. This means that, when it comes to crypto gambling, you’re playing on a licenced and regulated sportsbook. It’s also got responsible gambling protocols in place.
While this sportsbook does also have SSL encryption, it’s not actually listed what level it is. Nevertheless, it’s still in place, which means your data is protected when you play sports games here.

Safety rating
- Responsible gambling options
- Hasn’t been blacklisted
- Curaçao licence
Happily, BC.Game does do a good job here when it comes to security. If it didn’t I would be having a very hard time recommending that you play here. So yes, it has a licence.
Where I was a bit disappointed is in the information for SSL encryption. It’s clearly there, but I’ve no idea how strong. It’s definitely not at the heights of Ladbrokes with 2048-bit though!
In fact, Neds is similar to Ladbrokes in this area – after all, they are affiliated. Neds also has local licences from Australia, which does set it apart from the Curaçao licence BC.Game holds.
That being said, it’s still strong and there are excellent responsible gambling protocols in place. These are clearly found on the site, which I really appreciate for any sportsbook.
Customer support
Being able to get in touch with someone quickly, as and when you need is crucial. And this is even if a sportsbook seems to work well. Generally, we want to see three different options of support on offer.
At BC.Game sports betting site there is actually only one option when it comes to getting in touch with the customer service team. This is available through a sticky live chat.
It’s available 24/7 with a four-minute turnaround time. There is no telephone line. However, BC.Game sports betting site does have a large community of players to enlist the help of.

Support rating
- 24/7 live chat
- Player community help
- Informative blogs
- Doesn’t provide phone number
Another high-scoring area for me if I am being honest. I really liked the different options that didn’t revolve around getting in touch with a staff member. Let’s see what I mean.
Okay, so let’s do the bad first. BC.Game only has one option for customer support and this is a live chat. PlayUp, in contrast, has multiple options including email and a phone line.
But, BC.Game does regain a higher spot in comparison to Sportsbet. While BC.Game is available 24/7, Sportsbet has limited opening hours from 6 am to midnight, which is just disappointing.
But, what I really like here are the player community options. None of the other sportsbooks have anything quite like this. I am a big fan of the forum so big points here.
Platform
Getting around a sportsbook and finding all you need in terms of finding the right betting markets, live streaming options and so on, is very important if you’re going to have a good time.

BC.Game sports betting site has a very intuitive, simply designed site. It’s got clear menus along the top of the site to toggle back and forth between the casino and the sportsbook.
In the sportsbook section, the most sought-after sports and events are listed at the top of the left-hand column. Below, are the rest of the sports making this a high-quality gambling experience.

Platform rating
- Easy-to-read menus
- Dark theme
- Simple sports categorisations
- No sports filters
This is definitely a strong effort put out by BC.Game. There are some features lacking here, but the overall look, feel and design of the site is something I can definitely get on board with.
It’s just not quite as good as some of the sportsbook-only sites. For instance, The TAB is user-friendly and has filters, a feature that’s noticeably lacking when it comes to BC.Game sports betting site.
However, it’s more in line with William Hill, which has multiple verticals, all excellent, similar to BC.Game. William Hill just has poker as well to tip it higher. But, no one is beating BC.Game for esports.
Like I said, there’s a lot to like here, particularly the esports and virtual games verticals. If the site can include filters and a search function, this will get an even higher score in future.
