However, this is still not as big as the offer from BetAndPlay. There, you can claim up to NZ$2,500 and 300 free spins, so there’s still a little work needed if Spin247 is to truly compete here. 

I was pleased to see that there are many different bonus options for regular players at Spin247 though. The inclusion of properly set up bonuses is better than Dunder’s more wishy-washy approach where promotions are periodically available. 

However, it’s worth pointing out that many of the ongoing promotions need a heftier deposit in order to activate them. In some cases this is as much as NZ$100, which is really not great for budget players. 

And, some payment methods such as Neteller and Skrill cannot be used to claim bonuses. This is in rather small print and easy to miss, which I feel is unfair to some players who may miss this information. 

I do love a large casino games selection as it all but guarantees you’ll find something to enjoy. And that is the case here at Spin247, though there’s almost too much choice at times. 

I’ve always thought that the 3000-strong game selection offered by LeoVegas was a top entry, but when presented with the 12,000 games at Spin247, this pales in comparison. 

That being said, sites like LeoVegas do exercise a certain amount of quality control, which is definitely lacking at Spin247. Many smaller studios whose games are present simply don’t match up.

Off the bat, I don’t like to see a casino with a poor licence. Part of playing online should be to feel safe, and this is not the case here when a PAGCOR licence is in effect.

Another area where I was hugely disappointed is the responsible gambling tools. Unlike the comprehensive selection offered by Lucky Days, I found only self-exclusion and cooling off, which is not good enough. 

Both of these have to be enacted by the player themselves. And, to do so, requires getting in touch with support and waiting until they sort it. By then, the damage could be done. 

To round things off, Slot247 did surprise me nicely with a strong live chat. It was answered quickly and efficiently. Yes, I had to provide an email and name, but this didn’t impact whether or not information was provided. 

I was also happy that the button for the live chat is always on the screen, even if it is in the middle at the bottom. This is similar to the easy support access provided by Spin Casino. 

I was also happy to note that the support is offered around the clock. This is where Spin247 really beats out some of the competitors such as CasinoVibes, which has a very limited timeframe to get in touch. 

The only real issue I had (no, not the lack of a phone), is when I checked through the Help Centre. On the surface, it’s a good option, but it gives some wishy-washy answers that isn’t too helpful. 
I am not sure what the point is of having a help section when you end up getting in touch with the live chat anyway. Regardless, it’s a strong end to a solid casino. 

I have no really strong feelings about this site other than it’s a bit too white. There is no option to switch to a dark theme or mode, which is always a little disappointing in this day and age though. 

Elsewhere, despite having a fair few graphics, I found that this did load pretty fast. Yes, it’s over a second and a half and sites like Wildz are bang on a second, but this didn’t detract from the experience.

Finally, I guess my only real complaint is a lack of filters. It would be nice to have other options for whittling down such an enormous collection of games. Helpful filters would be for game mechanics or theme.
