2025 TikiTaka casino review for NZ players
Although TikiTaka online casino has 24/7 support in place, this doesn’t include a phone line. However, with the variety of games on offer, this site is still worth spending time to explore.

- Many languages available
- Huge game selection
- Accepts cryptocurrencies
- Limited responsible gambling tools
- No phone support
- Clunky interface

Expert verdict
Right from the off, there’s good and bad points regarding TikiTaka casino. While there is a lot to like when it comes to the games and betting options, I had some major concerns regarding security.
It’s never a good sign when your web shield instantly flags this as a phishing site. So, with that in mind, it’s not a great start to playing online.
Of course, if you don’t mind living on the edge of your seat, then TikiTaka has a solid welcome bonus to claim – one designed to boost your gaming.
It’s also got a decent selection of fiat payment options alongside crypto. Which, if you’re looking for anonymity, this is the place. But, I am not a fan.
Bonus
TikiTaka has a welcome bonus of 100% up to NZ$1,000. On top of that, it offers 200 free spins and a bonus crab credit. It’s only accessible to newly signed-up players.
A weekend reload bonus is provided to return players. This is a 50% match up to NZ$1,400 plus 50 free spins. A separate weekly reload of 50 free spins is available, too.
For players looking to play in the live casino, there is a live cashback offer. This gives you 25% cashback up to a maximum of NZ$400 each week.

Bonus rating
- Lucrative welcome offer awarded
- Fair minimum qualifying deposit
- Live casino bonus
- Steep wagering requirements
- Only 10 days to meet requirements
- No-deposit bonuses unavailable
I love a good bonus, and surprisingly, despite my initial trepidation, the welcome bonus here is not at all bad. In fact, matching up to NZ$1,000 is a great way to open with a bang if you want newcomers.
However, the wagering requirements are much higher than some of the others out there. For instance, at 35x, this is already exceeding the 30x attached to any Casumo bonus. I am always on the lookout for lower requirements.
Where I continued to be pleasantly surprised is when it came to cashback offers. One is for the live casino and is one of the highest rewarding ones I’ve seen. Nice to see a non-live casino cashback offer, too.
I was a little disappointed with the VIP program. It wasn’t really offering much and, like many of these programs, requires getting invited. Being a VIP here is more about getting perks as a highroller. Unhelpful for the average player.
However, TikiTaka beats the likes of Woo Casino with the Bonus Crab feature. I made a qualifying daily deposit and was awarded a Crab credit with which I could ‘catch’ a prize, which added to the fun.
Games and software
There are thousands of games on TikiTaka casino. These cover all the main game categories including pokies, virtual table games, jackpots and a live dealer casino section.
The games are powered by more than 100 different software providers. Some of these include popular names within the industry such as Microgaming, Pragmatic Play and Evolution.
However, there are many smaller game studios whose games are available here, too. These include All41, Hacksaw and Spinomenal. The insertion of these games ensures diversity throughout the gaming platform.

Games rating
- Thousands of pokies
- Well-stocked live casino
- Regular new games
- No progressive jackpots
- Limited video poker
Let’s start with the good here. First up, yes, there are literally thousands of games. With more than 12,000 in place, I am not sure I’ve found a casino with quite as many.
The games are varied, too. I found pokies, jackpots, keno, video poker and live casino games. But it’s really here that the positives begin to fade away.
Despite the sheer number of games, the final tally for the live casino, around 450, is exactly the same as King Billy. And with fewer games overall, King Billy stands out as at least fine tuning its catalogue.
Many of the pokies at TikiTaka are simply too repetitive. And, some of the games I found come from unknown or unlicensed providers. The games from top studios are barely promoted, so I had to search for them myself.
Furthermore, while there is an impressive selection of jackpots (at 1000+ it beats SpinYoo’s 75 into the ground), sadly they are boring. Additionally, I couldn’t find any progressives. Disappointing.
Payment methods
There are nine different payment options available at TikiTaka casino. These include both fiat and cryptocurrency options, most of which are available for both deposits and withdrawals.
Across all payments, deposits are instant. There is also a consistent minimum deposit requirement of NZ$20. Upper limits differ depending on the payment type and range from NZ$4,000 to NZ$10,000.
Fractionally fewer payment methods are available for withdrawal. Depending on the method used, payouts are instant, or take up to a week. Cryptocurencies are the fastest option to choose.

Payments rating
- Accepts crypto payments
- Average minimum transaction values
- Instant deposits
- Limited withdrawal options
- Low maximum withdrawal
One of the better sections on TikiTaka casino, there are ten different payment methods covering a selection of different payment methods. While I am not a crypto-user, I appreciate the option is there.
Once again though, I am on the complain train. Maximum deposits are somewhat abysmal here with just NZ$10,000 in place. Compare that to Casimba’s NZ$100,000 and it’s simply not in the same league.
I was equally disappointed with the withdrawals. A top payout of NZ$10,000 is really not worth the effort for high rollers. Yes, if you’re a VIP you get higher limits, but I’d like to see the unlimited option like 888Casino.
Of course, if you are a crypto user you’re probably enjoying the options offered. And, yes, there are no fees and, of course, with crypto, you do get the fastest transactions. There’s the added bonus of blockchain security.
I don’t hate the options here though. And I do like the fact that the setup is such that you can use a dropdown to find your currency. The payment methods available change per country, making it very simple.
Safety, transparency, and reputation
A very recent casino to the gambling scene, TikiTaka casino still follows the standard protocols for operating a casino. Namely, getting a licence and ensuring security protocolas are in place.
This casino holds a PAGCOR licence, which is the one from Costa Rica. Details for this can be found in the footer of the main page and players can look up the jurisdiction.
To ensure player safety and protection, TikiTaka uses SSL encryption protocols. A locked padlock icon in the URL bar indicates the protocol is in place. This prevents third parties from accessing player data.

Safety rating
- SSL encryption in place
- Self-exclusion offered
- Minimal responsible gambling tools
- Poor licence
- Flagged as phishing
I am not pulling any punches here. The second I tried to open this website I got alerts for phishing. And that’s absolutely not a good sign when it comes to a casino.
I should have known something was up though, given that it has a PAGCOR licence, which is essentially a fake one. Give me the MGA-licenced PlayZee any day of the week.
It should also be made clear that this site is absolutely not trusted by any major responsible gambling site. While it has yet to be blacklisted, it’s too new a casino for this to be unsurprising.
Throughout the site, security is very much non-existent. A major issue for me is the lack of any responsible gambling tools. Even with a Curacao licence, Winz.io manages to offer more than what’s available here.
All it offers is a rather lacklustre self-exclusion option. A page on responsible gambling simply lists questions, which is spectacularly unhelpful and a rather passive take on taking responsibility in gambling forward.
Customer support
There are various ways to get in touch if something should go wrong when playing at TikiTaka casino. The first of these is the live chat. This is available 24/7.
The live chat is found by going to the help centre – the button is located at the bottom left of the screen. It’s next to the language flag where the language can be changed.
There is also an email support option. Again, this is found in the help centre. This has a longer response time compared to the live chat. There is no phone available.

The help centre is the main source of information. It comprehensively covers everything players need to know about deposits, withdrawals, technical aspects, bonuses and verification processes on the casino site.
Support rating
- 24/7 live support
- Email provided
- Comprehensive help centre
- No sticky chat
- Lacks a phone number
Surprisingly this is far from being the worst section of the site. I did find that there are a pretty good selection of support options here, most of which were adequate to my needs.
It was a bit of a mission to find the live chat though. I would expect it to be a sticky button on each page like Nitro does. Instead, I had to go on a hunt for it.
Once I got to it though, I was a little disappointed. The response time is rather slow, and I had to input my name, email and message to begin the chat. This is a similar issue to that on VoodooDreams.
All that being said, while the site is a little slow, there’s little need to actually get in touch. Most of the games worked well, and the pages and links took me about as needed.
The help centre was a highlight, and offered a comprehensive selection of information. It was a pleasant surprise in fact, given the paucity of other information throughout the site.
Usability
The interaface is user-friendly for the desktop version of TikiTaka casino. Different game categories are all listed to the left of the main page for a very simple scrolling experience.
When in each game category, there are further categories and filters available. These categories give options such as new, popular or different game specifics within that game genre.

There is a comprehensive provider filter, too. This lists all the different providers and the number of games available from each one. It’s also easy to find specific games using the search bar.

Usability rating
- Provider filters and game numbers
- Categorised games
- Accessible on mobile devices
- Live casino and table games mixed together
- Clunky
- Slow load-times
On the surface, this football-themed site seems to be modern and user-friendly. And yes, I didn’t really have any major issues when it comes to finding my way about. Everything is where I expected it to be.
However, some bits of the site are a bit clunky, such as shifting between game categories. Unlike the smooth interface of Lucky Days, TikiTaka often loaded slowly (once I was passed the phishing issue of course).
I should also note that some sections of the site are a little janky. Within the live casino I found a ton of the standard virtual table games. If I wanted to only look through one game type, I couldn’t.
Then, there are the load times. Yes, this may be impacted by the use of a VPN to get round that phishing issue, but it’s unlikely. When checking the speed on PageSpeed, it’s just slow.
And I mean seriously so. With 11 seconds to load, this takes ages compared to the 1 second loading speed offered by Wildz casino. These sites are simply worlds apart.
