Editor's note
This review is based on the operator’s current offer in New Zealand. Data and analysis below are accurate at the time of publishing, but may be subject to change as the operator’s offer expands.
Expert verdict
While there is no VegasNow no-deposit bonus on offer, there is a rather spectacular welcome offer. It covers multiple deposits, but if you make the most of it, you can really boost your bankroll.
I was also impressed to see that there are more than 13,000 casino games here. Most of them are pokies, but there’s a decent live dealer casino too.
Elsewhere, the features are pleasantly solid. I could find an array of payment methods, decent support and good usability across multiple paltforms when it came to the site itself.
It could do with some work though. Wagering requirements are steep, security is not the best, and the lack of proper responsible gambling tools is a concern.
Bonus
VegasNow casino has a welcome package that totals up to NZ$8000 and 500 free spins if taken up to the maximum allowed. It’s split over four deposits.
The initial deposit doesn’t require a bonus code. It offers a 150% match up to NZ$1500 and 200 free spins. For the other three deposits, the amounts differ and bonus codes are required to claim.
There are no other bonuses for regular players unless you opt to join the Diamond Club. Doing so gives you access to additional offers such as Diamond Dash, as well as other games.

Bonus rating
- Four-part welcome offer
- Free spins awarded
- VIP programme
- High wagering requirements
- Limited regular bonuses
The welcome offer here is one of the biggest I’ve seen as far as casino bonuses go. Yes, this does require players to actually deposit the maximum each time, but still, it’s huge. With 500 free spins up for grabs, it’s hard to find fault.
Even the first deposit by itself is a decent one as it offers a deposit match up to NZ$1500. This far outstrips the rather paltry 200 free spins over ten days that’s offered by Bet365, that’s quite disappointing in comparison.
Then again, in comparison to Stake’s offers where there are multiple ongoing promotions and bonuses, this is where VegasNow falls down. There’s really nothing extra for return players at VegasNow, which I found to be a surprise.
While I don’t like the high wagering requirements – these are 40x – this is increasingly the norm across NZ casinos. However, the short seven days before the bonus is void, is not great. Player’s shouldn’t feel rushed to use it.
Overall, there’s some good, but it’s not the top of my scoreboard. I’d like to see more bonuses given to regular players, especially after the casino puts in so much effort in attracting players in the first place.
Games and software
At VegasNow players will find more than 13,000 casino games on offer. These are split across most of the main game categories including pokies, virtual table games and live casino.
Pokies make up the vast bulk of the catalogue, with over 10,000 options available. These are categorised by the casino into different genres, and themes, to make it easier to find specific games.
The table game section is the smallest, but there’s still a good selection of roulette, blackjack and baccarat, with 12 different video poker games also on offer.

I found I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I saw the number of games on offer here. With 13,000+, this is quite simply one of the most extensive game libraries I’ve seen in a while.
I’d always thought that LeoVegas had a pretty strong game collection, but at nearly 4,000 games, this not the case. However, it’s likely that LeoVegas exercises a little more quality control.
In some areas, VegasNow does better than others. There are more than 700 jackpots, which is better than the 600 from King Billy. But, while there are 12 live game providers, the number of titles is only 120. In comparison, King Billy offers more than 300.
That being said, it’s unclear whether I could see all the live casino games without being logged in, or whether I needed to join the Diamond Club for full access. Let’s just say VegasNow won’t be my go-to for live dealer casinos.
With some information being rather unclear when scoping out the website, it’s impossible to give this site full marks. And, I will say that there are almost too many games here. Maybe some quality control wouldn’t go amiss.
Payment methods
There are 18 different payment options on VegasNow, some of which are cryptocurrencies. All the top cryptos are available here including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and DOGE.
For fiat options, there are a wealth of different providers. Players can pay by VISA, Mastercard or Paysafecard. There are various eWallets and other direct transfer options as well.
Minimum deposit and withdrawal limits are set at NZ$30 across the board for all payment methods. Upper limits differ depending on the payment method used, with crypto having no limits at all.

Payments rating
- Instant deposits
- Some payment methods are unlimited
- No transaction fees
- Low maximum withdrawal limits
- Some payouts are slow
I always like to see a variety of payment methods and that’s exactly what I got here. There are 18 different ways to make a payment on VegasNow.
However, I will say that the minimum deposit and withdrawal amount at NZ$30 is a little high. I’d much prefer to see the NZ$10 that’s offered by Spinyoo as it’s more budget-friendly.
Additionally, at the upper end of the spectrum, VegasNow sits solidly in the middle. Some payment methods have a maximum withdrawal of NZ$4000, while crypto is unlimited. Casimba offers a top withdrawal of NZ$5000, which isn’t too much better.
At least all payment methods are fee-free. Though I will say it’s worth checking when using a crypto as these tend to have in-built fees or gas fees in place, but this isn’t from the casino’s side.
Transaction times are, across the board, pretty decent. Deposits are instant, which is always good. Withdrawals vary, but don’t appear to take longer than a day, which is solid.
Safety, transparency, and reputation
All casinos should be licensed and regulated to show that they abide by specific laws. VegasNow has a Curacao licence and operates under this jurisdiction in New Zealand.
In addition to this, the site is protected using 128-bit SSL encryption protocols. This prevents third parties from accessing any player or financial data on the casino’s site.
There are no responsible gambling seals on the site however. Nor are there any RNG auditing seals, which means it is unclear who checks the games for fairness.

Safety rating
- SSL encryption protocols
- Holds a licence
- Limited responsible gambling tools
- Curacao licence
- No RNG seals
The first thing I always check for at a real-money casino is the licence. If there isn’t one, then I won’t give that site the time of day. VegasNow holds a Curacao licence though.
Nevertheless, while there is a licence in place, it’s not my favourite. I much prefer an MGA licence, like 888 Casino has, as this just offers slightly more stringent regulations and player safety protocols.
This is evidenced in the 128-bit SSL encryption from VegasNow in comparison to the MGA-licenced Playzee, which has 256-bit encryption in place. It’s instantly offering more security.
Additionally, VegasNow has no responsible gaming seals nor auditing seals, which is a big concern to me. Again, showcasing the effects of a better licence, Playzee has both.
The lack of any limits available for players to set on their accounts is a concern. Players do appear to have to fend for themselves somewhat. Yes, they can self-exclude, but it seems to be quite a hassle.
Customer support
Access to staff is essential when playing online. With this in mind, VegasNow NZ online casino has a number of different options for players to use when they need help.
The first of these is the live chat. It’s sticky and can be found in the bottom right corner of each page. Clicking it, opens the inital interaction with a bot.
If the live chat is not up to scratch, players can send an email. The site claims this is monitored regularly, but there is no indication of how long the turnaround is.

Finally, there is a very small, limited selection of FAQs. These do cover some of the main questions that are typically asked, but not in any real depth.

- Bot-operated live chat
- Limited FAQs
I didn’t hate the support options available on VegasNow, but I didn’t love them either. On the surface, there’s nothing inherently wrong, but I think I just expect more these days.
The sticky live chat is easy to find, but when you begin the conversation or ask a question, it’s a bot that answers. While this is becoming the norm, I don’t have to like it, especially when it can’t help.
Eventually, you’re put through to a real person, and then the situation and quality of the support markedly improves. Once a human is involved, the live chat is very much on par with the one on Lucky Days.
Disappointingly, the FAQ section is rather lacklustre. In fact, it’s similar to that of Casumo’s, with both casinos offering minimal questions and answers in this section. Both should do better.
Overall though, it’s not a bad start. I would just like to not get the run-around with a bot. And, it would be good to know how long emails take to elicit a response.
Usability
For the most part, the interface of VegasNow is an intuitive one. It has clear menus along the top outlining the main areas of the casino, with a more detailed one to the left.

The site loads quickly, in just over 2 seconds, which means there is no lag across changing pages. Games also load swiftly and do not appear to be impacted.
The theme is also simple, without too many graphics. It’s also a dark theme, which helps to keep things easy on the eyes while remaining readable, even on smaller screens.

You’d be pressed to find an operator covered in our casino reviews that doesn’t have a decent design and interface. And that’s definitely the case here as VegasNow does a solid job.
Yes, I harp on about it a lot, but the fact that this is a dark theme gets VegasNow some brownie points. It’s similar in look and feel to Woo, which has a high score from me here.
The lack of any unnecessary graphics also means that VegasNow loads quickly. That being said, it’s still just over 2 seconds, while Winz.io sits at 0.3 seconds.
Elsewhere, I liked the fact that the games were already categorised into different themes and headers. It made it easier to see some of the different options without having to scroll through thousands of games.
However, as a player, I wasn’t able to do this myself. I’d prefer to be given the filters to make these decisions rather than being forced into them.
