DraftKings Pick6 DFS review
The DFS version is built around simple player stat predictions, with users creating lineups from their favorite sports. Some features include live-in game picks, Bonus Picks, and boosted payouts through Multiplier Picks.
But while DraftKings carries a lot of prestige, I’m here to find out if its DFS version can live up to the same high standards. In this DraftKings Pick6 review, I’ll break down its promotions, betting features, sporting options, payouts, and overall usability.
- Safe environment
- $75 referral program
- Live Picks and Pick Multipliers
- Payout structure lacks clarity
- Entries must come from same sport and league
- No all-in or flex-style entry options

Expert verdict
DraftKings Pick6 comes off as a slick, secure, and rewarding extension to the wider DraftKings sportsbook. The platform is easy to use and comes with great responsible gaming tools and services. The bonus setup is also one of its stronger selling points.
That said, there are a few areas that need a little more TLC. While sports coverage could definitely benefit from more niche entries, my main concerns lie with the stripped-down betting mechanics and volatile payout structure. The lack of all-in or flex-style options may help keep things simple, but it reduces control.
I also think the platform has to allow users to combine picks from different sports and leagues into one entry. The restriction feels unnecessary. Elsewhere, the 24/7 live chat is useful, but I would scrap the chatbot entirely or at least improve the setup for it.
Still, Pick6 has a lot of potential and could easily be a real asset to the DraftKings arsenal. You can see this from the excellent betting offers alone. With clearer payouts, more betting options, and a bit more sports variety, Pick6 could become a seriously competitive DFS platform.
Where is DraftKings Pick6 legal?
DraftKings Pick6 is available across 44 US states and Washington, D.C. However, Louisiana only has partial recognition, with accessibility reserved for certain parishes.
To create an account, the minimum age requirement in most states starts at 18. However, you must be 19 in Nebraska and Alabama, and 21 in Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
The six remaining states where DraftKings Pick6 is unavailable include Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
DraftKings Pick6 bonuses
DraftKings Pick6 runs several seasonal promos relevant to sporting events, such as the Super Bowl or NBA finals. The platform also comes with a sign-up offer and Pick6 Promo Tokens, additional rewards that can be earned by opting into a promotional offer.
Furthermore, the wider Dynasty Program also connects Pick6 with other DraftKings products. This means that any user that already has an account with one of its variants will have their rewards and progress all connected.

DraftKings Pick6 welcome offer
Newly registered users who submit their first Pick6 entry worth $5 or more will instantly receive $50 in Bonus Picks if they sign up using the promo code T2P. These promotional credits will be split across five separate $10 Bonus Picks and can be used across all eligible sports.
The Bonus Picks are non-withdrawable, although any winnings you earn from using these credits are yours to keep. Each $10 Bonus Pick can only be used once and therefore cannot be split across multiple entries. Any unused Bonus Picks will expire 14 days after being credited to your account.
Pick6 Promo Tokens
Pick6 Promo Tokens are special rewards that can be earned by opting into selected seasonal offers, such as an NFL promo. These tokens can then be used to make entries and come in three forms: Bonus Picks, Winnings Boosts, and No Stress Entries.
A Bonus Pick lets you submit an eligible Pick6 entry up to a set amount without spending any of your own cash. A Winnings Boost increases the payout of a winning entry by a set percentage, sometimes up to a maximum boost amount.
A No Stress Entry acts as a form of protection against losing entries. If your eligible entry fails to land, your net loss is refunded as Pick6 Credits. Promo Tokens are usually single-use and come with an expiry date.
Refer-a-Friend
If your friend creates a DraftKings account using your Pick6 referral link, you can earn up to $75 in Pick6 Credits. After signing up, your friend must make a minimum $5 deposit and complete the stated qualifying action, such as submitting an entry.
To be eligible, your friend must have no previous affiliation or account with any other DraftKings product. There is also no cap on how many friends you can invite, but you will only receive one reward per referred friend.
Pick6 credits are non-withdrawable and will be used before any available cash balance. Any additional winnings you make from your Pick6 Credits are yours to keep following a 1x playthrough requirement.
Pick6 Pardon Policy
If an athlete from one of your chosen picks exits the game early before meeting their stat projection, the Pick6 Pardon Policy will void that pick. This protects your entry from being marked as a loss and keeps you in with a shot of winning some cash.
The policy only applies to ‘More’ pick selections and must come from one of the following sporting disciplines: NFL, MLB, NBA, or NHL. Your lineup can consist of multiple pardons.
If a two-pick entry is reduced to one valid pick, your entry fee will be returned to you.
The Dynasty Program
The Dynasty Program is a loyalty-based reward club that spans all DraftKings products, including Pick6. After creating your account, users automatically start off in Tier one, also known as Bronze.
At Pick6, users earn 1 Tier Credit for every $5 in entry fees. These credits can help you progress through all the Dynasty tiers. You need 5,000 credits to reach Silver Tier, 25,000 for Gold, and 90,000 credits for Diamond. The last tier, Onyx, is invitation-only and you must have at least 175,000 credits to be considered.
After reaching Silver, Pick6 users can also start earning Crowns. These Crowns can be used in the Dynasty Rewards Store, spent at the DK Shop, and redeemed for free play.
The following is a list of Tier benefits:
- Bronze: Basic promotions, Crowns redemption, and a 5% DK Shop discount.
- Silver: Milestone rewards, free US shipping, and a 10% DK Shop discount.
- Gold: 1.25x Crowns multiplier for DFS and Pick6, and a 15% DK Shop discount.
- Diamond: 1.5x Crowns multiplier for DFS and Pick6, VIP hosting, gifts, and access to special live experiences.
- Onyx: 1.75x Crowns multiplier for DFS and Pick6, invite-only perks, and a 25% DK Shop discount.
Bonus rating
78/100 Great value, but needs clearer terms
- Generous referral rewards
- Innovative Promo Tokens
- Vague promo terminology
- Dynasty progression takes time
I feel like the offers at DraftKings Pick6 were very solid. The $75 in Pick6 credits from its referral program was particularly generous. Other platforms tend to offer much lower referral rewards, like the $5 free picks at ParlayPlay or $25 in bonus funds at Sleeper.
Elsewhere, the sign-up promo won’t set the world alight, but it still gives new players a decent starting point. The Promo Tokens gained from seasonal offers also present a very interesting way to gain rewards. The Pardon Policy and Dynasty Program add to the platform’s variety.
However, there are a few pain points, mainly around vague terminology and a lack of transparency. Promo Tokens sound useful, but it’s not clear how often they’re available or how generous they actually are.
The Dynasty Program could also benefit from more detail. I feel like it connects Pick6 to the wider DraftKings ecosystem pretty well, but moving through the tiers also requires a lot of time and dedication. For casual players, the higher tier rewards may feel a little out of reach.
DraftKings Pick6 sports and markets
DraftKings Pick6 covers 10 sports, with a strong focus on the big four: football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. During testing, football markets were unavailable due to the off-season, but the platform provides extensive NFL and NCAA coverage when active.
Basketball is especially well-stocked, with well over 100 markets across the NBA alone. Baseball is also well represented by the MLB, while hockey events are covered by the NHL.

Outside the big four, DraftKings Pick6 also covers combat sports through the UFC and boxing. Soccer and golf markets are also available, while motorsports is solely represented through NASCAR.
There is also a healthy esports selection, with markets available for League of Legends, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, VALORANT, and other miscellaneous titles.
Sports & markets rating
70/100 Solid base, but needs more variety
- Strong coverage across US leagues
- Includes esports and NASCAR
- Only 10 sports
- No niche entries
Sports availability at DraftKings Pick6 is pretty solid, if nothing remarkable. Its coverage across 10 sporting disciplines is around average for DFS platforms, with top-end platforms like PrizePicks offering closer to 20.
However, Pick6 does a solid job of covering major US leagues, particularly when it comes to football and basketball. The inclusion of combat sports and motorsports also helps add to the variety. Plus, I was pretty impressed with its extensive esports coverage.
That said, the lack of sports like tennis and Formula 1 hampers the overall score. The platform would also benefit from more niche entries like jai alai, as well as international markets for baseball and hockey.
DraftKings Pick6 betting features
The minimum number of picks you can make in an entry is two. The maximum usually sits at six, although some entries may be capped at four or eight picks. In fact, the platform’s own terms confirm that the number of picks can vary by contest and sport.
Your entries must be built from the same sport and league. This means you cannot combine picks from the NBA with picks from the WNBA into one entry.
To start playing, you need to select either ‘More’ or ‘Less’ on projected stat lines. You can also adjust stat lines by using the plus and minus buttons. Doing this will create Pick Multipliers, which impact the Base Multiplier and, by default, your payout potential.
Some projections may already include Pick Multipliers. These multipliers can be found beneath stat projections alongside an orange lightning bolt.

At DraftKings Pick6, payout eligibility is determined by the number of picks allowed in an entry. However, entries with two to four picks require all selections to be correct for payouts to occur.
When up to eight picks are available, five, six, and seven-pick entries can still return a lower payout for one incorrect pick. Eight-pick entries can have up to two incorrect picks. When the limit is six picks, five and six-pick entries can have one incorrect pick.
DraftKings Pick6 also supports Live Picks across selected sports, including the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. These feature stat lines that update in real time and can also be combined with pre-game picks.
While DraftKings Pick6 does not offer a traditional cashout feature, it does include certain protection measures. No Stress Tokens can refund net losses as Pick6 Credits, while the voided pick policy will recalculate entries.
Betting features rating
68/100 Simple setup, but lacks flexibility
- Includes live in-game picks
- Adjustable stat lines
- Pick limits lack clarity
- No All-In or Flex Bet options
Granted, the name ‘DraftKings Pick8, but only sometimes’ doesn’t sound as catchy as Pick6, but it does a far better job of explaining how the platform works. The annoying thing is that there was no true way of knowing which contests for which sports allow four, six, or eight picks. I appreciate the versatility, but this needs to be framed more clearly.
The betting mechanics are also a lot more limited compared to other DFS platforms. Sites like Chalkboard and PrizePicks have two payout models: one for Flex Bets and another for All-In entries.
My biggest gripe is that you can’t combine picks from different sports, not even from the same league. I guess the stripped-down model adopted by DraftKings Pick6 makes things easier to manage, especially for new players. But, ultimately, it severely limits flexibility.
The saving grace for me was the inclusion of Live Picks and Pick Multipliers. These features add some much-needed depth to the platform as a whole.
DraftKings Pick6 payouts and multipliers
DraftKings Pick6 does not use fixed multipliers to decide payouts. Instead, payouts vary depending on the sport, and not just on the number of picks. For instance, a 3-pick NBA entry can have a payout multiplier of 6x, while a 3-pick WNBA entry can return a minimum payout of 5x your stake.
Every entry will have its own Base Multiplier. This can be enhanced through Pick Multipliers, additional values attached to individual picks. Some picks will automatically have a Pick Multiplier attached, while others may get one once you toggle plus and minus options on individual stat projections.
During testing, I was able to select eight NBA picks. Using standard options with no Pick Multipliers, this returned a minimum potential payout of 80x my bet for all correct picks. However, an eight-pick NBA entry using Pick Multipliers gave a potential return of 800x my stake for all correct picks.
Pick6 also uses a peer-to-peer format where your entry is pitted against other similar entries in a group contest with a shared prize pool. This is where you can earn extra winnings on top of your base payout potential.
Essentially, every $1 of your total entry fee represents a single entry into a contest. If you submit a $10 entry, that amount will be divided into 10 separate $1 entries. Each contest carries a 150-entry limit.
If you submit a $20 entry and there are only 15 eligible contests available, the platform will take the five remaining $1 entries and place them into contests with the least number of users available. Some prize pools can reach as high as $10,000.
Odds rating
72/100 Some nice perks, but lacks stability
- Strong potential with Pick Multipliers
- $10,000 prize pool contests
- Volatile payout structure
- Requires strong player knowledge
DraftKings Pick6 relies heavily on Pick Multipliers and group contests for any substantial payouts. The system also requires users to be extra knowledgeable about the athletes and games they are betting on.
This is partly because Base Multipliers can vary dramatically depending on the sport and league. Personally, I think things would be a lot more accessible to users if the platform included fixed paytables highlighting potential returns for picks. After that, any additional boosts act as a nice extra.
Take Underdog and Chalkboard Fantasy, for example. Each platform provides clear payout tables that highlight the potential return for a given number of picks.
Theoretically, with the right picks, the Base Multiplier at DraftKings Pick6 can be very strong. The issue is that, unless you spend time building entries over several weeks, there is no easy way of knowing how strong they can get.
DraftKings Pick6 — 9 payment providers
DraftKings Pick6 supports nine payment methods, including credit and debit card options like American Express, Discover, Visa, and Mastercard. DraftKings Gift Cards are also accepted, alongside wire transfers and e-wallets like Venmo, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

Most options can be used for both deposits and withdrawals. The exceptions are DraftKings Gift Cards and credit cards, which are deposit-only methods.
The minimum entry fee at DraftKings Pick6 is $1. DraftKings Pick6 does not list a fixed maximum entry fee. Instead, each contest carries a 150-entry limit.
The minimum withdrawal limit per transaction sits at $1. Maximum withdrawal limits vary by method, including $60,000 for PayPal, $20,000 for Venmo, and $25,000 for Apple Pay and debit cards.
Processing times also depend on the method. Bank transfers and e-wallets (PayPal and Venmo) take around two business days. Debit cards can take up to 24 hours. However, as a rule of thumb, you should allow three to five business days for funds to arrive in your account.
Payments rating
77/100 Solid variety, but lacks transparency
- Nine payment methods
- High withdrawal limits
- Some deposit-only methods
- Pick6 details lack clarity
Nine methods is a solid number, but I was more impressed by the variety available. From bank transfers, numerous card options, and popular e-wallets, there’s enough range to suit different player preferences.
The withdrawal limits are also very strong, especially when it comes to PayPal, a very popular choice among sports bettors. I also had no issues with processing times.
The reason why I couldn’t give this section higher marks came down to a lack of transparency and vague terminology. Payment information for DraftKings Pick6 is mainly found within the wider DraftKings Help Center.
Because of this, it took me a bit of digging to separate what is available for its fantasy sports portals compared to its casino and sportsbook products. Also, the 150-entry limit is a bit too vague for my liking, especially when trying to understand what the maximum entry fee is in terms of dollars.
DraftKings Pick6 security and responsible play
To help verify data and transactions, DraftKings Pick6 uses an ECDSA algorithm. It’s also equipped with 384-bit encryption and two-factor authentication. This helps protect sensitive user data from prying eyes.
Clicking the Responsible Gaming link at DraftKings Pick6 redirects users to its Responsible Gaming Center. From here, you can set Deposit Limits and Contest Limits as a daily, weekly, or monthly cap. You can also view your Limit History and block certain payment methods from accepting deposits.
There’s also something called My Budget Builder, a tool that helps manage your spending. Alongside this, you can set check-in reminders and alerts that go off after spending a set amount of time and money at Pick6.

For longer breaks, self-exclusion periods range from a minimum of three months up to six years. Once implemented, this cannot be reversed.
The Responsible Gaming Center also links several resources for external support, including Evive Digital Support, Kindbridge Behavioral Health, BetBlocker, and the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). There is also a Resource Map, which lets you explore additional services on a state-by-state basis.
Safety rating
85/100 Strong safeguards with minor limitations
- Easy access to RG tools
- Strong encryption
- Strong support from external sources
- Missing more specific limits
The system used at DraftKings Pick6 is super effective, with one link giving you access to its full range of responsible gaming tools and services.
The Responsible Gaming Center at DraftKings Pick6 had everything clearly laid out and labeled. Plus, the ability to set your own limits cannot be underestimated.
The only thing I might add to its setup are more specific limiting tools. Sites like Underdog, for example, include things like Spending Limits and Individual Spending Limits.
Still, this is only a minor issue. DraftKings Pick6 still inspires plenty of confidence thanks to accessible tools, strong security measures, and an external support network.
DraftKings Pick6 — 24/7 support
DraftKings Pick6 offers 24/7 live chat support. However, to speak to a real agent, you will need to have a registered account.
Unregistered users will only be granted access to a chatbot via the DraftKings Help Center. From here, the chatbot asks you to choose which DraftKings product you need assistance with. It will then guide you through multiple-choice prompts or suggested Help articles.
The Pick6 portal does not appear to have its own dedicated support system, but you can still reach out to them on [email protected].

Support & community rating
75/100 Good support, but limited access
- 24/7 live chat
- Dedicated Pick6 Help Center
- Live agents only for registered users
- FAQ section lacks depth
As opposed to building a more dedicated support setup, it feels like DraftKings took the easy way out here by throwing Pick6 in with its existing support system. To be fair, there is a separate Pick6 section within its own Help Center, but it barely scratches the surface.
Having access to 24/7 live chat support is always a huge deal for me. But, I found it frustrating that you can’t speak to a real agent unless you register an account. I want to get a good feel of its services before committing myself.
At sites like PrizePicks, response times can vary quite a bit but at least its live chat feature accommodates both registered and unregistered users.
DraftKings Pick6 accessibility
DraftKings Pick6 is compatible with both mobile and desktop browsers. If you already have a DraftKings casino or sportsbook account, you can simply switch over to Pick6 with your existing balance.
If you do not have an account, registration is relatively straightforward and gives you access to all DraftKings products, provided you are in an eligible state. Alternatively, there is a dedicated Pick6 app available on iOS and Android devices.

Visually, the platform uses a simple black and gray background, with bright orange banners and promo cards that help key offers stand out. The homepage generally highlights picks from the most relevant sports and upcoming events.
The top row of picks often features promotional options with reduced stat lines. You can only make entries using picks from the same sports. You also cannot select picks featuring the same player more than once.

Platform rating
86/100 Excellent cross-platform accessibility
- Clean visual layout
- Available on web and app stores
- Shared DraftKings balance
- Basic search function
Overall, I was really impressed with the platform’s layout. The black and grey color scheme keeps things clean, while the bright orange promo cards make key information easy to spot. Everything felt intuitive to navigate.
The ability to seamlessly switch between DraftKings products and use the same account balance is also a huge plus. I also appreciated that Pick6 is available on app stores as well as mobile and desktop browsers. This makes it a lot more versatile compared to platforms like PlaySqor, which leans much more heavily toward an app-first experience.
I will say that the search function could be more advanced. While it works well enough for finding specific players, it feels fairly limited beyond that. I also would have enjoyed a bit more flexibility when building entries across different sports.
