Fire Joker slot review summary
The Fire Joker slot is nostalgic in its simplicity, and since 2016 this slot has stood the test of time. The visuals aren’t that dated when you look at some of the slots on the market today, and the animations are super smooth. For those players who preferred slots when they had three reels and a dream, this could be for you.
The bonus features aren’t much to talk about, but what’s available is good. The re-spins of fire and the wheel of multipliers have the potential to be lucrative, especially if you land the 10x multiplier.
From a technical perspective, this is where things are murkier. This slot’s RTP ranges, even below the industry average of 96%. I’d suggest checking with your casino which RTP they’re working with, since it’s not listed on the game and neither is the medium volatility. As for maximum win, Fire Joker keeps it simple with a max win of 800x your bet.
Pros
Decent average payouts

Fire Joker comprehensive review
In my Fire Joker slot review, I’ll be breaking down the slot’s RTP, volatility, bonus features, and payouts. I also explain how the slot works and what you need to pay attention to when you start playing.
RTP and volatility
Fire Joker’s slot RTP is 94.28%, although I came across some demos that said the RTP was 96%. The volatility is medium. Play’n GO hasn’t listed the RTP or volatility in the paytable, so it’s unclear where it sits.
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| RTP | 94.23%-96.15% |
| Maximum win | 800x |
| Number of paylines | 5 |
| Volatility | Medium |
The game is played on a classic 3×3 grid formation, with five fixed paylines.
While there isn’t any direct communication from the provider on this slot’s RTP and volatility, it’s clear that the RTP ranges based on demos I came across. An RTP of 96% is in line with the industry average, making it a fairer game. Anything below that, like 94.28%, means there’s a higher house edge.
I’d advise caution when playing this slot. While the game is really simple, the ranging RTP means the game could be less likely to payout, and there could be a higher house edge that you’re not aware of. Based on my experience playing the slot, though, it felt like medium volatility with an RTP of 96%.

Bonus features
The Fire Joker slot doesn’t have a lot going on when it comes to bonus features, but it’s worth taking note of the creative features that are available.
The Fire Joker is the Wild symbol in this game. It can substitute for any symbol on the reels. If two reels hold the same symbols, but there’s no win, a re-spin of fire can be triggered. One of the remaining reels will re-spin while the other two are frozen in place. This is done to try to create a win.

If all three reels have the same symbols, or a symbol is combined with Fire Joker Wilds, the Wheel of Multipliers will be triggered. A wheel will spin to determine the multiplier awarded. The maximum multiplier is 10x.
When I first started testing this slot, I was expecting there to be no bonus features at all. It’s a classic 3×3 fruit slot. I was surprised, and slightly impressed, that Play’n GO managed to include three bonus features, even if one of them is a Wild.
In a 30-minute session, I managed to trigger both the re-spins of fire and the wheel of multipliers twice, and close together. They’re actually pretty rewarding features. On a bet of $1, I had wins of $21 and $60 thanks to the wheel of multipliers, which awarded me a 3x multiplier both times. The re-spin feature also created two wins for me.
If you prefer a really stripped game with a little action, Fire Joker puts on a decent show. If, however, you’re in the market for a slot with several bonus features, I’d suggest trying Immortal Romance, which has four free spins variants, multipliers, re-spins, and more.

Symbols and paytable
Fire Joker has nine paying symbols. The low-paying symbols are the Xs, the cherries, and the lemons. After that, there are the grapes and plums. The high-paying symbols on this slot are the gold bars, the stars, the red sevens, and the Fire Jokers. You need three symbols for a win, and all wins are paid left to right.

The Xs are the lowest-paying symbols, awarding a payout of 2x your bet for three symbols. Your bet is divided between the five paylines. That means if you’re playing on a total bet of $1, but you land a win on one payline, the line bet is $0.20. Multiply that line bet by 2x, and you’ll get a win of $0.40.
For the cherries, it’s a payout of 4x your line bet, which on a total bet of $1 awards a payout of $0.80 for three symbols, while for the lemons the payout is 5x. This equates to a payout of $1 for a total bet of $1.
The high-paying symbols have much higher payouts. The gold bars award a payout of 15x your line bet for three symbols, which is $3 when your total bet is $1. With the red sevens, it’s a payout of 25x, meaning you’ll get $5 for three symbols.
The Fire Jokers have the highest payout. You’ll get a payout of 80x for three Jokers, which is $16 on a total bet of $1. On the maximum bet of $100, the payout for three Jokers is $1,600. The maximum win on the Fire Joker slot is 800x your bet.

For what this game is, these payouts aren’t that bad. They’re not the greatest, but there are slots out there, with more reels and more symbols, that payout less. The Vegas Night Life slot, for example, awards a maximum payout of $1,500 for five symbols on the same max bet of $100, while Fire Joker is doing $1,600 for three.
There are three-reel slots out there that do payout better than Fire Joker, though. The maximum win of 800x is very low. Black Diamond, for instance, has a maximum payout potential of 7,500x your bet, plus progressive jackpots.

How to play the Fire Joker slot
To get the reels spinning, press the yellow spin button. You can access the paytable, with basic bonus feature explanations, by pressing the paytable button on the left side of the game window. Under it, there’s the autoplay button.
You can have 10, 20, 50, 75, or 100 autospins, and you can choose to stop them on any win or if a feature is triggered. There are advanced settings, too. You can stop your autospins if a win exceeds a certain amount, if your balance increases or decreases by a pre-set value.
To change your bet, you can choose one of the quick bet options from under the grid. The plus and minus symbols will allow you to scroll through the options. The minimum bet is $0.05, and the maximum is $100.

The betting increments adjust in multiples of five to start with: $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $0.50, $1. After that, the increments become wider until the maximum bet of $100.
Under the game window, there’s your current balance, your current total bet, and your last win. You can also press the “?” button for more game details, and there are the turbo button and the mute button.
If you open the settings, you can mute the game, switch on fast play, and switch on using the spacebar for spinning the reels. If you hold the spacebar down, hyper spins will be enabled, which spins the reels at a rate of less than one second.

Expert verdict
This isn’t a slot for high-rollers, and I think it’s fair to say that from the get-go. A maximum win of 800x and a max bet of $100 on a 3×3 grid won’t provide a rewarding game or payout for high-risk players. For less experienced players, however, Fire Joker could do the job.
The bet values start really low, at $0.05, and gradually increase, making it easy to find your footing. The bonus features are straightforward to grasp, and while they’re limited, they add a little extra spice to the game. They also have the potential to be pretty lucrative, particularly the wheel of multipliers.
I will say that you need to check the casino’s RTP for this game before playing. An RTP of 94.23% would play very differently from one with 96.15% RTP, and for less experienced players, it could make what’s otherwise a very simple-looking game more difficult. The medium volatility should help to balance it out and potentially deliver some bigger wins now and again, but always plan your bets and budget carefully.

There isn’t an official RTP or volatility listed on the Fire Joker game. I came across demos where the RTP ranges from 94% to 96%. During my time playing the game, I worked with a version with a 96% RTP; however, I recommend proceeding with caution since the RTP isn’t listed up front.

The maximum win potential is 800x your bet, which is on the low side compared to others in the market.
What’s the wheel of multipliers feature?
On the Fire Joker slot, if you fill the reels with the same symbol, or a combination of one symbol and Wilds, you’ll trigger the wheel of multipliers feature. The wheel will spin to determine your multiplier, which can be a maximum of 10x. The chosen multiplier will be added to your win.
What’s the bet range on the Fire Joker slot?
The bet range on the Fire Joker slot is $0.05 to $100. The bet range starts out very low, and increases gradually, before hitting $100. It’s a betting range that’s comfortable for less experienced players since the numbers are smaller and don’t jump into bigger bets so quickly
