Super Sally’s Shrimpmania slot review summary
For players who are fans of the Lobstermania universe, Super Sally’s Shrimpmania will definitely scratch that itch. The visual style has remained largely the same, with very minor design or animation updates since the original Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania came out in 2011. If you’re a fan of the quirky, colorful, eccentric fishing theme, with some clunky but charming animations, Super Sally’s Shrimpmania won’t disappoint.
As for bonus features, it’s one of the areas King Show Games does best. Super Sally’s Shrimpmania has six bonus features, with the Bucket Bonus being the highlight of the game. This bonus feature, and its three sub-bonuses, can be highly lucrative, and really enhance your gaming experience.
The slot’s RTP is one of the lowest points of this game, sitting at 94.97%, which is below average. That’s paired with medium volatility, meaning the game pays out somewhat frequently, though definitely not consistently. The maximum win is also on the low end, at 800x. I was hoping for a little more, but with a maximum bet of $97.50, I can see why.

Super Sally’s Shrimpmania comprehensive review
In my Super Sally’s Shrimpmania slot review, you’ll read about the slot’s RTP, its bonus features, and the symbols and their payouts. Plus, I’ll be explaining how to get started and how to play.
RTP and volatility
Super Sally’s Shrimpmania has a slot RTP of 94.97% and medium volatility. There are 15 paylines and the game is played on a 5×3 grid.
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| RTP | 94.97% |
| Maximum win | 800x |
| Number of paylines | 15 |
| Volatility | High |
I was surprised that Super Sally’s Shrimpmania’s slot RTP is pretty low. 94.97% is below the industry average of 96%. That being said, the first Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania slot has an RTP of just 94.01%, so it’s not the lowest it could be.
The game doesn’t really play like a low RTP slot, and that’s partly due to the medium volatility, which balances things out. The base game awards wins semi-regularly, though this isn’t a given, but it’s the bonus features that bump up the overall volatility. It’s also where my biggest wins came from.

Bonus features
There are six bonus features in the Super Sally’s Shrimpmania slot game, and three of those are sub-bonus features of the Bucket Bonus. You’ll find classic features like Wilds, Scatters, and multipliers, too.
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Bonus features | Wilds, Scatters, Bucket Bonus, Grab a Crab, Shrimp Shack, Gone Fishing |
| Top features | Bucket Bonus |
| Jackpot | N/A |
Wild
The Wild symbol is the Shrimpmania logo. While this can award its own payout values, it can also substitute for any paying symbol to create a winning line. The Wild can’t substitute for the Scatter or Bucket Bonus symbols.
Scatter
The Scatter symbol is the word “Scatter” in yellow-orange text, set against a bubbly water background. Scatters can appear in any position on the reels, with a minimum of three awarding a win. They’re paid out in addition to any line or bonus wins. The Scatter payouts are:
- Three symbols = 5x the total bet
- Four symbols = 25x the total bet
- Five symbols = 200x the total bet
Bucket Bonus
This is triggered when three bonus symbols land on reels 1, 2, and 3. The symbol shows Sally, with the Shrimpmania logo underneath her, and the symbols must land on a payline. If they land on reels 1, 2, and 3 but not on a payline, the bonus feature won’t be triggered.
When triggered, the bonus symbols will be replaced with three “Pick me” symbols. Sally will ask you to pick one of the symbols to reveal how many bucket picks you’ll get. This ranges from two to four.
Once you’ve selected your number of bucket picks, the game window will change to show Sally on her boat, docked near the Shrimp Shack, with nine different colored buckets. You can choose any of the buckets, and once you’re done, Sally will start emptying their contents onto the dock.
The buckets contain different things: shrimp piles, the “Play Again” feature, or one of the three sub-bonuses. Shrimp piles award a cash prize, which varies according to your current bet. The “Play Again” feature gives you the chance to choose more buckets for the chance to add more shrimp piles to your overall win or to claim a bonus feature.
Grab A’ Crab
If you win the Grab A’ Crab bonus feature during the Bucket Bonus, three blue crabs will appear on the screen. After a little dance, you’ll be asked to pick one. The crab you choose will apply a 2x-4x multiplier to your overall win.
Shrimp Shack
The Shrimp Shack sees one of Larry’s cameos in this game, where the window to the Shrimp Shack opens, and Larry offers you a menu. You’ll be asked to choose a dish from the menu, which will determine your cash prize. Items on the menu include deep-fried shrimp, shrimp gumbo, and Maine lobster.
Gone Fishing
The third bonus option involves helping Larry find Sally. Several boats are visible in the background, and you need to click on each boat until you find Sally. Every boat also awards a cash prize, which is added to your total win.
I like the way Super Sally’s Shrimpmania keeps its bonuses straightforward. With Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2, there were too many bonuses and it becomes overwhelming to understand the game before you start spinning.
That being said, the game isn’t short on bonuses. Plus, the Bucket Bonus is triggered relatively frequently, which I was happily surprised at. In 1.5 hours of gameplay, I triggered the bonus four times. All of these times, the bonus was pretty lucrative. With my bet set to $1.20, I won $36.80 thanks to the 4x multiplier on the Grab A’ Crab feature.
Another time I only got the “Play Again” feature, but those small shrimp piles added up to a win of $40.50, from a bet of $1.50. My biggest win was when I was playing on maximum bet and got two “Play Again”s, leaving me with $2,561.
The only thing that’s really missing from Super Sally’s Shrimpmania bonus line-up is some free spins. Avalon III is a slot that’s also loaded with some cool bonus features, and that includes jackpots and free spins.

Symbols and paytable
There are nine symbols in Super Sally’s Shrimpmania, including the Wild symbol. The low-paying symbols are the blue crab, the oyster, and the pelican.
All three symbols award payout of $0.40 for three symbols when the bet is set to $1.20. The blue crab pays out $12 for five symbols, while the oyster and the pelican have the same payout values, awarding $16 for five.
The middle of the road symbols are the snail and the catfish. They award $0.80 for three symbols on a bet of $1.10, but you’ll get $20 for five of the snail symbol and $40 for five of the catfish.

The high-paying symbols are the shrimp family, with the male, female, and grandpa shrimp. The male and female shrimp both pay out $40 for five symbols, like the catfish, but the grandpa shrimp will pay out $80.
The highest-paying symbol in the game is the Shrimpmania logo, which doubles as the Wild. this symbol can award a payout for just two symbols, which is $0.40 on a bet of $1.20. For five symbols, you’ll get $800. The maximum win on Super Sally’s Shrimpmania is 800x.

Super Sally’s Shrimpmania having a lower maximum win than both the Lucky Larry slots doesn’t really go over well. High-rollers probably won’t find this game as rewarding, especially given the maximum bet doesn’t even exceed $100.
The base game payouts, however, are actually pretty great. With a bet of $45, you can win up to $3,000 with the grandpa shrimp symbol, and up to $30,000 with the Shrimpmania symbol. In Twin Spin, for instance, you’ll get $2,000 for its highest-paying symbol on a bet of $50. With Avalon III, that same bet awards just $500.

The green spin button on the right-hand side of the grid is your starting point. Press this to start the game and every time you want to spin the reels. You can have 100 autospins, and you’ll need to choose a loss limit. There are optional advanced settings too, which allow you to stop the autospins when your balance exceeds a certain amount, if you hit your win limit or to stop on any win.

Expert verdict
For players who love the nostalgia and cartoon-esque feel of the Lobstermania series, Sally’s slot is “shrimply” the best. In my opinion, Super Sally’s Shrimpmania boils down the formula of the Lucky Larry’s slots, leaving you with the best bits. The slot has very good base game payouts, is loaded with just the right amount of bonus features, and medium volatility.
The bonuses are the strongest aspect of this slot game. They trigger quite often and they’re typically very lucrative. There’s also the potential to trigger other bonus features within the Bucket Bonus, which gives players something else to look forward to.
Sadly, the RTP sits on the lower end of the scale, which is something to watch out for. As for the max win and bet, this isn’t one for high-rollers. The bet range is wide and varied, but with a maximum bet of just $97.50, high-rollers will be frustrated, and the same goes for the maximum win of 800x your bet.
