Released in 2010 and brought back to life with a 2021 mobile-ready build, Kitty Glitter is IGT’s red-carpet ode to four house cats and the diamonds they apparently sleep on.

The slot runs on a 5×3 grid with 30 fixed paylines, a 94.92% RTP, and a Free Spins Bonus where every cat on the reels can turn wild.

Kitty Glitter slot review summary

Kitty Glitter drops you onto a red-carpet backdrop with four portrait-style cats (White Persian, Orange Tabby, Calico, and Siamese) staring out from a 5×3 grid framed in gold. It’s an online version of a long-running early 2000s IGT machine, and the rebuild keeps the original feel intact.

The base game is where most of your patience goes, as the 30 fixed paylines mostly tick over with small royal-symbol hits while you wait for three Bonus scatters to land on the middle reels. Once they do, the game changes character.

It’s a slot for players who like the classic IGT machines they grew up with and don’t mind grinding the base game to chase a bigger bonus. Anyone tracking RTP value will want to check the Game Rules screen at their operator first though, since the 94.92% version covered here is the top one, but lower versions are also in circulation.

Pros

  • Wilds locked during bonus round

  • Free Spins retrigger up to 225 spins

  • Logo wild covers reels 2-5

Cons

  • 94.92% RTP

  • Top symbol pays only 33.3x

  • Base game has no extra features

Kitty Glitter comprehensive review

In this Kitty Glitter slot review, I’ll be covering all the essential details you need to know before playing. That includes the RTP and volatility, the bonus features and how they work, the paytable values, and how to get started with the slot.

RTP and volatility

IGT ships Kitty Glitter to operators in multiple RTP versions, with figures ranging from 93.51% to 94.92%. The version covered here is the top one, but always check the Game Rules screen at the casino you’re playing at before spinning, as the same game can pay 1.4% less depending on the operator.

RTP94.92%

VolatilityMedium

The volatility of the slot is medium. The theoretical per-spin max win is 1,000x your total bet, achieved during Free Spins by filling the grid with White Persians (or wilds substituting for them) across all 30 paylines.

A $300,000 per-transaction cap also applies, which kicks in at high stakes: at the $150 max bet, that’s 2,000x as the ceiling for any single bonus run.

Time2play Expert Analysis

Honestly, 94.92% would have been fine in 2010, but in 2026 it’s the kind of number that makes you check whether the operator is running an even lower version. Across the session I played at $1.50 and $3.00 stakes, the base game really gave me essentially nothing.

The rules even tell you the bonus reels are “richer than the base game reels,” which is IGT politely saying the main game isn’t where the math lives. My advice is pretty straightforward: keep your stake at the low end, plan for a long stretch of nothing happening, and treat your real session as the Free Spins round. If you don’t trigger the bonus, you basically didn’t play.

Bonus features

Kitty Glitter ships with one bonus feature, but it has more depth than most single-feature slots.

Free Spins Bonus

Three Bonus symbols anywhere on reels 2, 3, and 4 award 15 free spins and a scatter pay of 3x your total bet. The Bonus symbol only appears on those three reels, so unlike most scatter triggers, every potential bonus comes from a fixed pool of reel positions. Three Bonus symbols on reels 2, 3, 4 during the feature award another 15 spins and another 3x pay, up to a maximum of 225 free spins per bonus.

During Free Spins, a Diamond symbol appears on reel 5 only. Each Diamond that lands gets banked in an on-screen meter that fills sequentially next to each cat: White Persian, then Orange Tabby, then Calico, then Siamese.

Three Diamonds make the White Persian wild on reels 2–5. Six Diamonds add the Orange Tabby, nine add the Calico, and twelve push the Siamese wild. The conversion is permanent for the rest of the bonus, so once a cat is wild, it stays wild. After 12 Diamonds, no more are collected, but the Diamond symbol itself remains wild on every spin it lands.

Time2play Expert Analysis

This is where the game justifies its existence. In my session I triggered the bonus once across roughly 90 base spins and walked away with 6 Diamonds, which is enough for the Persian and the Tabby to go wild, but not enough for the Calico or Siamese.

Even at that halfway point, the screen feels different: wild stacks start landing, and you can see how the math compounds when more cats convert. The catch is that you need a long bonus run to collect 12 Diamonds, which is realistically only achievable with one or two retriggers.

If the bonus ends after 15 spins with two or three Diamonds, you’ll often walk away with less than you spent triggering it, so patience is basically the only strategy this game rewards.

Symbols and paytable

The paytable is short, with four cat symbols, five royals, plus the Logo wild and the Bonus scatter.

Symbol values are listed as line bet multipliers on the in-game paytable. To get the total bet multiplier, divide by 30. For 5 of a kind on a payline, the White Persian Cat tops the paytable at 33.3x your total bet (1,000x line bet), followed by the Orange Tabby at 25x (750x line bet) and the Calico at 13.3x (400x line bet).

The Siamese rounds out the cat symbols at 10x (300x line bet). The royals drop sharply from there: the Ace pays 4.16x your total bet (125x line bet), and the K, Q, J, and 10 all pay 3.33x (100x line bet).

The Free Spins paytable is identical to the base game paytable as the values don’t change in the bonus, but the Diamond Accumulator stacking wilds on reels 2 through 5 makes those hits land more often. The Bonus scatter pays 3x total bet whenever three land on reels 2, 3, and 4, both as the trigger and on any retrigger.

Time2play Expert Analysis

The top symbol paying 33.3x total bet on its own is genuinely low for a 30-line slot in 2026. You’d need several stacked paylines hitting at once for a single spin to feel substantial. And that’s by design: the paytable values aren’t the point, the accumulated wilds are.

Most of your winning spins in the bonus won’t come from a clean Persian line, but rather from a half-converted Tabby or Calico paying across three or four lines at once thanks to the wild substitutions. If you go in expecting big single-symbol payouts, you’ll be disappointed, as the value is in the wild stacking, not the paytable.

Expert verdict

Kitty Glitter is a slot for players who like classic IGT slot machines and don’t mind grinding the base game for a shot at the Free Spins Bonus. Anyone expecting modern bonus structures, frequent wins, or a competitive RTP should pass.

The Diamond Accumulator is the only reason this game still gets played in 2026. Watching the meters fill, knowing each three-Diamond milestone converts another cat to wild and changes how every subsequent spin pays, is genuinely satisfying.

For nostalgia players and patient grinders, this still earns a recommendation, particularly at the lowest stake levels where a bonus run can stretch a small bankroll. For volume players, RTP-conscious players, or anyone allergic to the dry base game, there are better IGT options on most modern casino lobbies.

FAQs

What is the RTP of Kitty Glitter?

The RTP of Kitty Glitter is 94.92%. IGT also ships lower-RTP versions to some operators, with figures cited from 93.51% upward. Always check the Game Rules screen at the casino you’re playing.

What is the maximum win in Kitty Glitter?

The theoretical per-spin maximum is 1,000x your total bet, hit during Free Spins when the grid fills with White Persians (or wilds substituting for them) across all 30 paylines. A $300,000 per-transaction cap also applies, which becomes the practical ceiling at high stakes.

Does Kitty Glitter have a progressive jackpot?

No. Kitty Glitter has no jackpot of any kind. The follow-up game Kitty Glitter Grand has a jackpot wheel, but it’s a separate title.

How do I trigger free spins in Kitty Glitter?

Land three Bonus symbols anywhere on reels 2, 3, and 4 on the same spin. That awards 15 free spins and a scatter pay of 3x your total bet. There’s no bonus buy.

How does the Diamond Accumulator work?

During Free Spins, Diamond symbols land on reel 5 only and bank into a meter. 3 Diamonds turn the White Persian wild, 6 add the Orange Tabby, 9 add the Calico, and 12 add the Siamese. Each conversion stays for the rest of the bonus.
