This review is based on the operator’s current offer. Data and analysis are accurate at the time of publishing, but may be subject to change as the operator’s offer expands.
Expert verdict
Caesars’ online casino achieved a high rating for a good reason: when weighed up against other casinos licensed in New Jersey, the operator offers a quality product.
The first deposit bonus, in particular, is top tier, and new players can additionally claim a no deposit bonus with low wagering requirements. The game library is one of the largest in the industry.
At present, you can play over 800 slots and table games, while the iOS and Android apps come with just a few games less. Phones and emails have long waiting times, however all of the top support channels are here as well as a complete FAQ section.
There are no game filters, so finding a game from a specific software provider will require you to use the search bar – which does compensate for this to an extent.
Caesars bonuses: $10 bonus bet + $1,000 welcome bonus and credits
New players at Caesars online casino can kick off with a $10 sign-up bonus with no deposit needed, plus another 100% match bonus of up to $1,000. Caesars also gives you 2,500 Reward Credits from its VIP loyalty program as part of its starting bonus to give you a nice head start on the rewards ladder.
The wagering requirements will depend on the type of game you choose to play and must be completed before you can request a withdrawal. For example, on your $10 sign-up bonus, it’s 1x on slots, while on a 100% match bonus, it’s 15x on slots.
For full clarity; Caesar’s doesn’t use percentages, they just say 10x on slots and 30x on video poker, but the math works out. All other games need to have a playthrough requirement of 75x, except craps, which is excluded from the bonus.
You’ll need a personalized Caesars casino bonus code to claim the $10 no deposit bonus, while the code for the 100% match bonus on your first deposit is WELCOME.

The promotions page doesn’t mention much beyond the Caesars welcome bonus – in fact, we found just two other online casino bonuses available at the time of this Caesars casino review:
- Giveaway for a share of $15,000 in bonuses
- Giveaway for a share of $10,000 in cash
This is quite common though, as most operators only list 1-3 existing player promotions. Heavily promoted, however, is the Caesars Rewards loyalty program – we’ve listed some of the benefits below. You won’t find any mention of VIP promotions either. Instead, a dedicated host will be assigned to you once you reach VIP status for exclusive bonuses, etc.
Bonus rating
- Top-tier welcome bonus
- Excellent loyalty program
- Limited existing player promotions
Bigger doesn’t always equate to better, but that’s not the case when it comes to welcome bonuses at NJ online casinos…
Fortunately, the Caesars casino bonus doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s great when weighed up against those from top operators such as Golden Nugget online casino and BetMGM – while others like SugarHouse, Virgin, WynnBET online casino and Tropicana pale in comparison, offering very little reward from the onset.
This is also where the online casino leaps ahead of competitors, by giving new registrants a no deposit bonus. You’ll receive your Caesars casino promo code via email. Didn’t receive it? Just ask customer support to load the bonus manually, which is what I did.
At the same time, the minimum deposit to claim the first-deposit bonus is set at just $10, way lower than the industry average of around $20-$30. (Full disclosure; lower is better here, so good job Caesar!)
While Caesar’s does make the list as a top online casino welcome bonus, things do drop off a bit after the welcome package.
The promotions page doesn’t mention much aside from two giveaway-type offers. Nonetheless, I like that Caesars online casino made some effort, as some operators (such as 888casino) fail to mention any existing-player promotions at all.
It’s not a big deal, but some players (including me) like to see what happens at online gambling sites outside of the welcome bonus.
Finally, the wagering requirements are on par with the rest of the US market. As mentioned previously, these will depend on the type of game you choose to play. I have listed the bonus rules below to give the full picture.
All in all, the Caesars casino bonus scored a couple more points than top competitors Golden Nugget (85), SugarHouse (80), and 888casino (83).

Caesars Rewards
Caesars Rewards is a top-tier loyalty program, available at competitors such as Virgin and Tropicana, too. You need to register and link your Caesars online casino account to avoid missing out on the benefits available, including discounts for hotel stays, dining, entertainment, shopping, live shows at Caesars Casino & Resort in Atlantic City, and other rewards.
There are currently 6 reward tiers: gold, platinum, diamond, diamond plus, diamond elite, and sevens stars. You’ll earn Rewards Credits no matter your loyalty status and can transfer these to your offline Caesars Rewards account to purchase discounts (mentioned above), entry to WSOP events, and Free Play at Caesars in Atlantic City.
Additionally, you can convert your Rewards Credits to cash. For every 1,000 Rewards Credits redeemed, you’ll receive an extra $10 in your account.

Games: over 800 games and live casino tables
The Caesars online casino in NJ has over 800 casino games to choose from. This is well above the US average, with most operators offering around 500 casino games.
750 online slots, 6 live dealer, 14 video poker, 7 roulette, 11 blackjack, 16 table, and 23 casual games make up the library.

You’d be correct if you said there are fewer live casino games at Caesars online casino than other NJ operators. While 6 is more than what Virgin Casino offers, BetMGM has a solid 12, Golden Nugget 15, and SugarHouse 14.
Game types
Games rating
- Large selection of slots
- Good table game variety
- Very few progressives
- No keno, bingo, craps
The Caesars casino games are a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, you have more slots than you’d know what to do with (750), while on the other, there are very few jackpots (10). Operators like Unibet have 39 progressive jackpots.
I’m also a bit surprised that there are fewer live casino games than the average of around 12. Live Blackjack is the most popular here, with 6 different tables available during the day.
Where everyone loses out is the game filtering system. Or should I say, the lack thereof? Yes, there is a search bar to find your favorites. But with no advanced filters, finding games by your favorite software provider (for example) won’t be easy – especially on the slots page.
It isn’t all bad, though.
Caesars online casino has more slots than most operators: Golden Nugget (600+), 888casino (500+), and Unibet (540+). And while quantity doesn’t always equate to quality, most of these are from quality software providers like NetEnt and High 5 Games. You can read about them in the software section below.
I’m pleased to report that the selection of table games is on par with the rest of the US market too. Here, you can play 34 different titles, including a couple of niche games like Mississippi Stud and Pai Gow Poker.
Sadly, online craps, keno, and bingo are missing. If bingo is your jam, check out Tropicana while craps and keno are available at BetMGM.
Finally, a rating of 88 is not to be frowned upon, especially in a market as competitive as the US. No online casino will tick all boxes, but Caesars online casino does come close, sorta.
Caesars games breakdown
Caesars slots games
A total of 750 slots is a lot, yet more are introduced each month – which means there may be closer to 800 by the time we do another Caesars casino review. Most of these are from NetEnt, High 5 Games, IGT, SG Digital, and Konami. There are a few high roller slots in the mix too, such as Cleopatra Gold, Con O’ Mania, and Temple of Fire – each of which comes with higher betting limits.
The highest jackpot at the time of this review was on Mega Jackpots Cleopatra, standing at close to $700K and counting. Fan-favorites such as Gonzo’s Quest, Slingo Reel King, and Dead or Alive II are here, too.
The slots library is more extensive than the market average, giving players more choices than most operators. Some of the top slots we recommend trying:
Slot | Studio | Theoretical RTP | Top feature |
---|---|---|---|
Siberian Storm | IGT | 95.00% | 720 ways to win |
Triple Da Vinci Diamonds | High 5 Games | 97.1% | Free games bonus |
88 Fortunes | SG Digital | 96% | Win 1 of 4 jackpots |
Wheel of Fortune Megaways | Big Time Gaming | 96.46% | Wild mega stacks |
Medusa Megaways | NextGen | 96.28% | Unlimited win multiplier |
Caesars table and other games
Caesars online casino currently has 34 different table games and another 23 casual games. Unfortunately, you won’t find craps, keno, or bingo here.
SG Digital, IGT, and NetEnt provide the majority of table games – which is often the case for other US operators – with a few more options from Slingo and Inspired, too.
The casual games include virtual sports (horses, greyhounds, motorcycles, and race cars), scratch cards, and board-type games by Slingo. The selection is similar to BetMGM’s, while some operators fail to provide any casual games at all.
Amongst the video pokers are favorites Five Play Draw Poker (IGT) and Deuces Wild (Spin Games). Caesars casino currently has 14 video poker games – two more than Golden Nugget. Some of the top games we recommend trying:
Game type | Game title | Studio | Theoretical RTP |
---|---|---|---|
Blackjack | Blazing 7’s Blackjack | SG Digital | 99.33% |
Roulette | American Roulette | NetEnt | 97.3% |
Video poker | Deuces Wild | Spin Games | 97.58% |
Scratchcard | Medusa Scratch | NextGen | 95.17% |
Variety game | Slingo Riches | Slingo | 95% |
Caesars live casino games
The live casino games are from Ezugi, a studio owned by Evolution Gaming. These are streamed directly from their location in New Jersey.
Games include blackjack, roulette, baccarat (check out the guide on how to play baccarat), casino hold’em, three card poker, and unlimited blackjack. Unfortunately, you can’t play them 24/7.
In comparison, Golden Nugget currently has 15 live casino games from Evolution (8 of which are available 24/7), while Borgata has 14 live casino games from Evolution and Ezugi.
Mohegan Sun’s live casino games highlights:
- Games are from a top live casino studio, Evolution
- Comes with VIP live casino games
- Live Auto Roulette is open 24/7
Software: 19 game studios
19 online casino software providers are on the books at Caesars online casino. This is fewer than Unibet (20), BetMGM (20), and Golden Nugget (25), but way more than Virgin, Tropicana, and 888casino.

Lesser known but equally recommendable game studios include Big Time Gaming, Inspired, Lightning Box, NYX, Everi, Incredible Technologies, and Spin Games to name a few.
Available software
Software rating
- 6/14 top game studios
- Bespoke software
- Some top studios missing
The software providers available at Caesars online casino are at the top of the market. However, my biggest complaint is that the live casino games studio is not open 24/7.
The online casino lost quite a few points here for that reason, especially when competitors such as Unibet provide live casino games around the clock, which is why it received a rating of 82.
On the contrary, the online casino has 7 out of what I consider to be the top 14 software providers available in the US. We listed them above in case you want to have a closer look.
Missing from the software providers are major players Playtech and RTG. However, even the best online casinos don’t have every software provider is available. One can dream, though.
On a positive note, you don’t have to download the games from Caesars’ software providers. Instead, you can play them in your browser.
Payment methods: 11 ways to deposit and withdraw
Caesars online casino has 11 different payment methods, which is in line with the US market. All major deposit and withdrawal methods are available, including cash, cards, bank transfer, and online wallets.

New Jersey players can make deposits and withdrawals in person at Caesars Atlantic City, while main payment methods online include: Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, Amex, PayPal, PayNearMe, VIP Preferred, Online Bank Transfer, ACH, and Caesars Prepaid Card/Play+.
Withdrawals can be completed using ACH, VIP Preferred, Caesars Prepaid Card/Play+, and PayPal – which is only available if you’ve made a deposit using this method. Alternatively, you can visit the Caesars Atlantic City cage.
Deposits take around 15 minutes to process but may take up to 24 hours, depending on your preferred method. Withdrawals get processed on the same day when requested in-person, while it can take 3-5 business when using any other payment method online. ACH is the recommended payment method at Caesars online casino.
Deposit methods
Withdrawal methods
Payments rating
- No fees from casino
- Low minimum deposit, withdrawal limits
- Withdrawals take 3-5 business days
At first glance, the Caesars payment methods include safe and reliable options, with no fees charged by the casino – which is quite common in the US market.
The number of payment methods available is also on par with other operators: BetMGM (15) and Golden Nugget (11). I like that players can deposit and withdraw a minimum of just $10, while in-person transactions are available at Caesars Atlantic City.
Missing are Skrill and PaySafeCard. However, with 7 of the 10 top payment methods that we look for in our US online casino reviews, finding one that works for you won’t be difficult. Still, since Caesars accepts Visa, most people tend to be pretty satisfied anyway.
Concerning, however, is the long processing times. Of course, this is due to the measures put in place to stamp out online fraud. So I fully understand why it’ll take 3-5 business days to receive your winnings – which is more or less the industry standard.
Fortunately, you can request an in-person withdrawal in Atlantic City, where Caesar’s becomes one of the same day withdrawal online casinos. Plus, there is no minimum amount when using this option.
Also missing is a banking page with information available to non-registered players. Caesars online casino can take a page out of Golden Nugget’s book, where you can view all deposit and withdrawal methods along with the limits.
Instead, the withdrawal policy and FAQs include detailed information on the different payment methods and withdrawal processes.
At any rate, the payment method receives a satisfactory rating of 80 for this Caesars casino review.
Safety: safe gaming measures
The gambling site is licensed and regulated in two states and, because it represents an established land-based venue (Caesars Casino & Resort in Atlantic City), the operator has all the standard safe gaming measures in place that most real money casinos have.

Safety rating
- All standard safety features
- Transparent terms, policies
- Part of reputable land-based casino
- Not an award winner
Caesars online casino nearly scored full points for safety and with good reason. Here’s my check-list:
– Licensed and regulated? Yes
– Responsible gaming tools? Yes
– Transparent terms, policies? Yes Blacklisted? No
– Has won an award? No
Even with no awards under its belt, the online casino still manages to edge past other NJ operators for a higher safety rating, including Golden Nugget (83), SugarHouse (88), Unibet (80).
While the casino is part of Caesars Casino & Resort, I could not find any information on whether the website follows the same responsible gaming program as the land-based venue.
Instead, I was directed to the safe gaming page by customer support, where safety tips and information on the safe gaming tools is found:
– Two-step verification
– Deposit limits, spend limits, and session time limits
– Cool-off period of up to 30 days
– Self-exclusion for 1-5 years
Selecting self-exclusion will restrict you from all online and land-based gambling facilities in New Jersey – common at most online casinos licensed in NJ.
The safe gaming page can be accessed directly from the homepage and includes links to third-party gambling organizations.
Other than the above, the casino doesn’t appear to do anything above or beyond the norm. Some operators donate to gambling organizations, while others develop new technologies. Still, Caesars online casino ticks all the boxes and deserves a good rating.
Mobile: Caesars iOS and Android apps
The Caesars online casino app is available on iOS and Android and offers the same user experience as the desktop version. You can access both the sportsbook and poker room directly from the casino app.At present, you can play over 800 games on mobile, with only a few titles missing compared to the desktop version.

Often, online casinos have around 70% of the games available on mobile. This is not the case with the Caesars mobile casino, where only a few titles are missing compared to desktop.
This places the app on par with the best casinos in NJ.

We did encounter a few glitches while testing the Caesars app but this is not uncommon, especially during updates and new game releases. The same can happen on the desktop site.
Mobile rating
- Native apps for iOS and Android
- Good game selection
- UX experience similar to desktop
- Some glitches may occur
- No advanced game filters
Competing for the best casino app in New Jersey isn’t easy, but the Caesars casino app comes close to the top mobile casinos USA wide. I’ll start with what I don’t like.
As with the desktop casino, the Caesars casino app comes with no game filters. You can explore most game categories without needing any, but the slots section is different. Here, you’ll find some 739 different games and not being able to filter through them is a let-down, to say the least. Instead, you can use the search bar to find a game – which is reliable most of the time. Golden Nugget leads the way in terms of game filters though, which is why its mobile app scored a rating of 95.
I did experience a few technical glitches while testing the casino app but they were minimal for the most part.
The overall user experience is satisfactory and I don’t believe that players will have difficulty finding what they need. The interface is similar to the desktop version, with few differences to make playing on the go as smooth as possible.
Another plus is that other verticals are accessible from the Caesars online casino app. Unlike BetMGM, you won’t need to download a separate app to bet on the sportsbook or poker platform. Simply tap the menu and select the vertical you wish to visit.
On a whole, the Caesars app is easy to navigate and the layout is quite similar to the desktop site, which is great if you predominantly play on your computer and now want to hop on over to mobile.
Mobile interface overview
The mobile app doesn’t come with exclusive bonuses. However, players will have access to the same promotions as the desktop platform. You also don’t need to register a new account to play on the mobile app and can use your desktop login details and vice versa. Your account information is saved automatically (no matter the platform you play on) and accessible as soon as you log into your account.
How to download the app
- You’ll need to download the Caesars casino app for iOS or Android to play casino games for free (demo versions) and for real money. Android users can go to the Caesars online casino on their mobile and tap the “Download Now” button.
- iOS users will need to go to the Apple App Store and search for “Caesars Casino Real Money” to find the app. You need a US iTunes account to download it.
- Follow the instructions to complete the installation. Then, register a Caesars account or log in using your existing details.
Support: email, live chat, and phone
Caesars online casino has three support channels: email, phone, and live chat. There’s an FAQ section too, where you can find answers to topics such as “How to change my password.”
Support facts

---|---|
Customer support availability | 24/7 |
Live chat | Yes |

Contact number | 855-474-0606 |
On-page support | FAQ and Help Center |
We ran around 10 tests of each support channel at the time of this Caesars casino review. For live chat, the response time was quick, approximately 1-3 minutes.
Responses were detailed and required very few follow-up questions. The waiting time for phone support was 10-15 minutes. There is no web form available on the website, but players can email the support team any time of the day. You may wait up to 24 hours for a response, though.
Support rating
- All important customer support channels
- Support available to non-registered players
- Long email wait times
I’m usually not a fan of contacting customer support. In most cases, I’d rather try and solve an issue on my own. But that’s not always possible, especially when gambling online. Luckily, the customer support team at Caesars online casino is more than helpful.
Fortunately, all of the support channels are available, and live chat is especially good. I never had to wait more than 3 minutes for an agent to join the chat, while their responses were on par with the best in the business. More complicated questions required some follow-up, but that’s to be expected.
Another reason I rated Caesars casino’s customer support lower than other sites is because they don’t allow you to send transcripts of the live chat to your email – which makes it easier to keep a record of ongoing chats.
That’s where Tropicana and SugarHouse outperform the rest of the market, receiving a rating of 90 and 88, respectively.
On a positive note, the FAQ section is top-shelf and covers a wide variety of topics. You can access these by clicking the question mark in the top-right corner of the gambling site. I use FAQs extensively when playing online, often to find info on the banking limits and withdrawal process.
Usability: user experience at Caesars
The user experience at Caesars online casino is on par with other operators in New Jersey, offering players quick access to the games pages, promotions, etc. The registration page is easy to find and shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to complete.
Usability facts
Category | Details |
---|---|
Game filters | Yes |
Search function | Yes |
Web UX | Neutral |
Other products | Poker, sports |
We’ve already mentioned that no advanced game filters are available at Caesars online casino. Operators, where this tool is rated amongst the best, include Golden Nugget and SugarHouse. Instead, Caesars players can use the search bar to find games, or click the tabs to jump to the different game sections and verticals.
The support icon is sticky on all pages, so you’re never more than a click away from getting in touch with the support team.
Usability rating
- Support icon on all pages
- Easy navigation
- No game filters
While all online casinos strive to give players the best experience possible, not all succeed. Caesars online casino does a decent job here, with all top sections directly accessible from the home screen – including verticals sport and poker.
I like that the support icon is sticky on all pages. Most US online casinos don’t have this tool, nor do they provide instant access to the support page – one example that comes to mind is Tropicana.
Not so good is the fact that no game filters are available. You can read my comments on this in the games section. Luckily, you can click the different game tabs to jump between slots, table games, live casino, and casual games. You can also use the search bar to find specific games.
What also keeps Caesars online casino from getting a 100/100 rating is that very little info is available on each game. Here, you need to launch each one for details such as paylines, betting limits, and RTP – a little time-consuming if you ask me.
Navigating the website is straightforward, though. The top menu bar is where you’ll find the most important pages, including “Get Started,” with information on the registration process, deposit methods, and safe gaming measures.
Everything else is on par with other US operators, except Golden Nugget maybe – their website is incredibly flashy and comes with an intuitive filter system which is perhaps the best in the business.
Legal states: Caesars casino in the US
Caesars online casino accepted their first bet back in 2013. That was when the operator launched in New Jersey. Since then, the casino has expanded to include a Michigan online casino and Pennsylvania online casino, and an online casino is West Virginia. That’s quite a slow expansion plan compared to operators such as BetMGM, which is licensed in a total of 11 states. However, Caesars casino is one of the prominent brands in the US, so it’s only a matter of time before other states will be added.
This review is based on the New Jersey casino, which is the most extensive when compared to the other three states. Below we talk about some of the most notable differences between the states. In the meantime, if you live outside these states, we suggest checking out our top sweeps cash casinos, which are available across the US.
Caesars in Michigan
The Caesars casino in Michigan gives the NJ version a good run for its money, but it’s still trying to play catch up in terms of slots. There’s over 400 slots to enjoy spanning progressive jackpots, classic slots and Megaways. For the players looking at table games there’s over 40 casino games to choose from, including 11 live casino games.
This online casino however, really shines when it comes to the welcome bonus on offer. With a 100% deposit match up to $1,000 it leaves the NJ bonus in the dust.
Caesars in Pennsylvania
New casino users of the Pennsylvania Caesars casino receive one of the best welcome offers available right now around the US. We’re talking about a 200% deposit match up to $100 here. That’s a pretty good deal and a great way to get started at an online casino.
There’s over 130 slots available here and 11 table games. Yes, there’s a lot of road to cover in order to become as mighty as the NJ Caesars casino, but we’re sure this is just around the corner.
Caesars in West Virginia
The Caesars casino in West Virginia is still ramping up but players in the Mountain State can enjoy a selection of 43 slots and six table games. Live casino games aren’t available as of yet. But there’s a nice welcome bonus of a 100% deposit match up to $500 to get you started and eight different payment methods.
