How WOW Picks works

WOW Picks is a social sportsbook, which means you do not need to pay to use the site. Upon registration, you are awarded WOW Coins (WC), which you can use to make sports predictions for free.

Welcome offer

After creating my account, a pop-up appeared allowing me to instantly claim 15,000 WC. By selecting the Rewards tab on the menu bar, I was also able to claim 2 SC. When building my betslip, I had to manually toggle the 2 SC welcome offer under Pick Enhancements to activate it.

Any SC claimed through promos or coin bundles comes with a 1x playthrough requirement. After that, any additional winnings earned can be redeemed.

Daily and weekly promotions

The wider WOW Vegas platform offers daily login bonuses, alongside weekly and monthly rewards. Daily SC offers depend on your VIP level and can go up to 10 SC per day on Elite status. Weekly and monthly offers return a percentage of house edge as SC, with rates of up to 7% depending on your status.

However, after claiming my first 2 SC daily reward, I quickly found that these offers are not yet eligible to be used on WOW Picks. My balance displayed the 2 SC as playable in the casino, with 0 SC available for sports picks.

Loyalty program and VIP tiers

The platform’s VIP program consists of five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Elite. To progress, you need to earn Stars, with 1 Star earned for every 50 SC played. 

You need 400 Stars to progress from Bronze to Silver. However, once you reach Platinum, progression to Elite is via invitation only at the platform’s discretion. As the table highlights below, each tier you unlock comes with more lucrative prizes and offers:

Referral program, social media giveaways, and other promos

Through the platform’s referral program, you can earn 20 SC and 5,000 WC per referral. To be eligible, your friend must sign up using the unique link available on your profile and make a purchase worth at least $15.

You can invite up to 30 friends. In addition to that, each month, the top five referrers will receive a share of 5,000 SC.

WOW Picks also offers an NFL and NCAAF boost of up to 30% on qualifying slips with at least three picks. The maximum prize is 5,000 SC and each selection must have a Pick Multiplier of -250 or longer.

Alternatively, Last Fan Standing is a free NFL competition with a 250,000 SC prize pool. During the 2026 NFL regular season, pick one team for each game week and if they win, you’re good, but if they lose, you lose a lifeline. You cannot pick the same team twice and you have three lifelines in total before you’re eliminated.

To keep up to date with the latest giveaways and contests, it’s worth following WOW Picks on its official social media channels like Instagram. Plus, the Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) allows you to receive 3 SC for each valid mail-in request.

Getting started at WOW Picks

Registration was fairly straightforward. I was able to create an account by linking my Google profile before adding some personal details such as my full name, date of birth, and state of residence. The whole process still took less than two minutes.

There was no phone verification required and I also didn’t have to complete ID verification upfront. However, before making a redemption, you will need to submit Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.

Once I had signed up, a series of pop-ups appeared allowing me to claim my WC welcome rewards, while the 2 SC welcome offer could also be activated from my account. That said, the pop-ups themselves took several seconds to load onto my screen.

WOW Picks: 36 sports and betting markets

I counted a total of 36 sports and entertainment markets available on WOW Picks. Football betting is one of the most heavily covered areas on the site, with NFL matchups often catering to 400+ markets per game. College and Canadian football are also available.

Basketball and baseball markets also feature heavily, with NBA and MLB games regularly offering over 100 markets per matchup. Beyond the major leagues, WOW Picks covers 3×3 basketball and pesapallo, a variation of baseball popular in Finland.

Motorsports are represented by Formula 1 and 2, MotoGP, and NASCAR, while fans of combat sports can choose between MMA and boxing. When it comes to skates and sticks, you’ll find plenty of NHL markets as well as sports like bandy and floorball.

Sports facts

Soccer covers major leagues and competitions from Europe, while the MLS is also present. Other team-based ball sports include futsal, volleyball, handball, and water polo.

Golf is available too, but there’s also a strong selection of racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, badminton, and squash. You’ll also find Aussie Rules, while rugby is split between Union and League formats.

Some niche entries include darts, snooker, cycling, cricket, and biathlon. While I could not find any esports options, WOW Picks offers virtual sports that include e-football, e-ice hockey, and e-basketball. 

Finally, I spotted several entertainment markets during testing, with events that included the US presidential election, UK political leadership, and BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

WOW Picks betting features

At WOW Picks, I found all the standard bet types for both 2-way and 3-way markets. I also came across plenty of in-play markets alongside flexible betting options, such as Round Robins and early cashouts.

Parlays and same-game parlays (SGPs)

Parlays can be created by combining two or more legs from different events into the same betslip. This includes cross-sport selections. During testing, I was able to build a parlay with more than 10 legs from the NFL, NBA, and MLB.

SGPs were also available, allowing me to combine multiple bets from the same matchup. If I made a selection that was not compatible, the betslip would inform me that some of my selections could not be combined.

As I added more selections, the combined Pick Multiplier and potential payout on my betslip were automatically updated.

Round Robins

Available on your betslip as R.Robins, this feature allows you to split your parlay into smaller bets. This way, a bad leg won’t undo your entire wager.

While testing the feature across an initial four-leg parlay, I was able to split my selections into four singles, five doubles, or two trebles. It all depended on how I wanted to structure my wagers.

Live betting features

Live betting is available across a variety of sports, including markets for football, tennis, and golf. When browsing through the ‘All sports’ menu, a ‘LIVE’ icon highlights sports with events currently taking place at that moment.

For a more thorough search, the dedicated live betting tab only displays events taking place in real time. Scores and Pick Multipliers update automatically, while some events also offer live streaming, allowing you to watch the action unfold in real time. Use the ‘Streaming’ toggle to see which events are available to watch.

Early cashouts

At WOW Picks, early cashouts are displayed as ‘Finish Early’ options. The feature is only available on selected picks and, if supported, will appear as an option on your active picks before the event ends.

Using this option settles the pick immediately, and once you accept a Finish Early offer, it cannot be changed or cancelled.

WOW Picks betting odds

Markets at WOW Picks are displayed using American-style betting odds, while potential prizes are calculated via the Pick Multiplier on your Pick Slip.

Average odds

After examining odds and payout percentages from major sports like football, baseball, and basketball, WOW Picks came back with an average payout return of 94.14%.

To my surprise, baseball was by far the best-performing major sport, with an average payout return of 94.55%. Trailing behind, NFL markets came in with an average of 92.62%.

Basketball came in third at 92.58%, courtesy of the NBA. Out of all the disciplines I looked at, college football fared the worst, coming in at a lowly 91.72% at the time of testing.

Live odds

Payout percentages for live odds at the time of testing came back with an average return of 92.46%, slightly above the minimum accepted threshold of 92% for sportsbooks.

My samples for live odds covered several major sporting events and markets across multiple sports, including tennis.

Boosted odds

WOW Picks also features Boosted Pick Multipliers with improved odds on selected markets. During testing, I found these available for single picks and parlays.

Promotional boosts can also improve potential returns. So long as you meet the necessary requirements, the NFL and NCAAF Boost offers up to a 30% increase on qualifying wagers with at least three picks.

Purchases and redemptions at WOW Picks

Purchases and redemptions at WOW Picks cover various card methods alongside digital payment options and online banking.

Purchase methods

WOW Picks supports eight sportsbook payment options that can be used for purchases. These include Visa, Discover, American Express, and Mastercard, while digital wallet options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Skrill are also available. Online banking is also available through Trustly.

After testing purchases using Visa and Skrill, both options credited my account instantly. Speaking of purchases, the minimum coin package starts at $0.99, although this will only get you 50,000 WC with no free SC included.

For packages that include free SC, the minimum purchase starts at $4.99. This will get you 250,000 WC and 5 SC. There are twelve coin packages in total, with the most expensive one granting you 5 million WC and 104 SC for $99.99.

It’s worth noting that a 2.9% processing fee is added to purchases at checkout. This is capped at a maximum of $10 per transaction.

Redemption methods

I identified four redemption methods at WOW Picks, including Skrill, Trustly online banking, and MassPay. Gift cards can also be used with Prizeout.

The minimum redemption limit per transaction is generally set at 50 SC, except for gift cards, where the minimum is 20 SC. The maximum pending redemption limit cannot exceed 10,000 SC.

According to customer support, WOW Picks generally takes up to three days to process redemptions. After that, the time it takes to reach your account depends on the method. 

Skrill and Prizeout can take up to 24 hours, one to two days with MassPay, and three to five days with Trustly. The information pretty much checks out with my own experience, with a Skrill redemption taking four days to reach my account.

There are no transaction fees from WOW Picks for making redemption requests. Any additional fees will depend on your payment provider.

Licensing, safety, and responsible gaming at WOW Picks

Operated by MW Services Limited, WOW Picks uses RSA-based security features with SHA-256 hashing for added safety. These elements help protect sensitive data and financial transactions. You also have the option to enable MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).

For added privacy, WOW Picks gives you the option to enter Private Mode. Available from your account settings, this function hides your name from leaderboards and the Activity Feed, while still allowing you to participate and receive rewards.

WOW Picks comes with standard 18+ age restrictions and, while I couldn’t find any trust seals, customer support informed me the platform as a whole is regularly audited.

State availability

The platform is accessible in 35 states as well as the nation’s capital of Washington, D.C. The remaining 15 states either have partial or total restrictions.

If you live in Idaho, Nevada, or Washington, then you will not be able to register an account. The following 12 states allow players to use WC, but prohibit them from making redemptions: California, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, and Maine.

By selecting the ‘My Profile’ tab and scrolling down, I reached an area where I was able to manage my account. This included keeping tabs on my transaction history.

I also found a link to spending controls. From here, I found a set of self-service tools for purchase limits, giving me the freedom to set my own daily, weekly, and monthly spending caps.

Any decrease in limits took effect immediately. However, if I wanted to increase them, I had to wait 72 hours (three days) for them to come into effect.

There was also an option for taking breaks, allowing me to lock myself out of my account for either 24 hours or seven days. Once initiated, this action cannot be undone until the allotted time period has passed.

You won’t find any activity reminders or playtime limits available here. Plus, self-exclusion cannot be set manually and must be requested via email or through chat. The request must include your account email as well as how long you wish to be self-excluded for.

The minimum self-exclusion period is six months, with 12 months also offered as a standard option. Longer periods can be requested if needed.

The platform’s live chat feature is available 24/7. Having tested the site over several days at random hours, response times were very consistent, often taking less than 10 seconds to come through.

However, the platform’s live chat is run entirely by an AI chatbot. At one point, the chatbot asked if I would like to speak to a real human agent, only to then tell me that this is not available.

I was able to contact support via email at [email protected], but the response took the best part of two days to come through. Luckily, the platform’s Help Center is pretty extensive and can be accessed through the Live Chat widget.

WOW Picks mobile app and site usability

I had no issues accessing WOW Picks through multiple browsers on my desktop, including Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, and Edge. Alternatively, the platform is also available as a mobile app for iOS users, although I was not able to confirm availability on Android devices.

Registration was straightforward and the pop-ups upon account creation allowed me to gain instant access to some of its promos, including the 15,000 WC sign-up offer and the 2 SC welcome reward.

The platform uses a dark background with mainly bright blue and green accents for easy visibility. The homepage gives you a rundown of all its main sports that can be accessed through a sidebar as well as on a carousel below the menu bar and promo banners.

With so much displayed at once, the interface can feel a little cluttered at first, with sports options, banners, main betting markets, and navigation options appearing crammed closely together.

That said, the menu bar gave me quick access to my balance, coin purchases, rewards, and profile settings. It also gave me the option to access the Community Chat if I so wished.
