Expert verdict
With unique features like Rocket Boosts and banter channels, Dabble delivers a memorable and potentially very rewarding DFS experience. The gamified elements, solid bonus offerings, and social feed help create a platform that feels modern and interactive.
At the same time, I appreciate how it sticks to familiar DFS formulas. Fixed multipliers along with Adjusted Picks add a layer of flexibility without overcomplicating everything. The Peer-to-Peer contests are also a nice touch.
Elsewhere, while it covers the basics well, I was disappointed with the lack of real sports depth compared to other competitors.
However, the biggest letdown for me was the absence of renowned payment providers like Skrill, Trustly, Neteller, or even PayPal. Sure, the choices at hand are fine, but more needs to be done to support this area.
The fact that it is mobile-only is also a little restrictive, although the app makes up for this with smooth and easy-to-follow navigation. Overall, Dabble is an enjoyable DFS platform with some clever ideas. A few refinements here and there can go a long way.
Where is Dabble DFS legal?
The Dabble DFS platform is available for download in 31 jurisdictions across the US, including the nation’s capital, Washington D.C.
The following 20 states prohibit players from downloading the betting app and creating an account: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Washington.
Dabble bonuses and promotions
Dabble is home to a number of betting promotions, some of which are ongoing while others are available for a limited time period with the end date not clearly defined by the platform.
Unless stated otherwise, any promo where you can claim bonus funds comes with a 1x playthrough requirement. Users must be 18+ to claim these offers, except in Nebraska, where players must be 19 or older.
$10 no deposit sign-up promo
Newly registered users are entitled to $10 in bonus funds with no deposit requirements. All you need to do is download the app, create an account, and pass account verification.
After meeting standard sign-up requirements and verifying your account, the bonus funds will be credited to your balance. It’s important to bear in mind that the bonus funds from this offer must be used within seven days or they will expire.
Spin and win: Up to 100% deposit match
Dabble gives existing players the chance to spin a wheel and claim up to 100% of their deposit. The offer is capped at a maximum of $500, with existing users randomly selected and notified via email, push notifications, or in-app messages.
When selected, players must make a deposit to activate the Spin and Win wheel. The wheel is divided into 14 segments, with each one displaying possible amounts you could win. The values vary depending on the user, account activity, and your deposit amount.

Rocket Boost
Stylized as a crash game, Dabble’s Rocket Boost allows you to potentially increase your multiplier after confirming an entry. With a maximum of five Rocket Boosts per account, each Rocket Boost will have its own randomly generated Max Available Boost.
As the rocket ascends, your multiplier increases. If you press stop before the rocket crashes, the multiplier is locked in and added to your entry, creating the potential for a higher payout should you win.
However, if the rocket crashes before you press stop, you will miss out on the full boost. That said, Dabble confirms you may still occasionally receive a smaller boost although it does not state how often this occurs.
To be eligible, you must place an All-In entry with a minimum of four picks. To get started, simply tap ‘Use Rocket Boost’ on the lineup you wish to apply the promotion to.
Copy Cash
Every time a user copies your entry, Dabble’s Copy Cash program rewards you with $0.05 in bonus funds. The maximum amount you can earn from this program is capped at $1,000 per week. Plus, your entries do not need to win in order for you to receive bonus funds.
To be eligible, your entry must have a minimum stake of $0.50. Likewise, the copied entry must also have a minimum stake of at least $0.50. A user can only copy your entry once, although they may also copy other entries you may have.
The number of unique copies is calculated by Dabble, with the funds credited to your account once a week on Wednesdays. The calculation period runs from Wednesday 12:00 AM to Tuesday 11:59 PM the following week.
Refer-a-Friend
Existing players who send a referral link to friends can receive $10 in bonus funds after certain conditions have been met. The referral code is available on a player’s profile page within the app.
Your friends must then download the app and enter the specific code in the designated field when creating an account. After their account has been verified, all they need to do is make one entry of their own. Their entry does not need to match the value of the referral reward.
After these requirements have been met, the bonus funds will be credited to your account, which must be used within fourteen days. So long as your friends have not previously created a Dabble account, there is no limit to the amount of referral codes you can send.
Bonus rating
83/100 Gamified bonuses with great rewards
- Rocket Boost can increase payouts
- Copy Cash for passive rewards
- No guaranteed 100% deposit match
- No standardized VIP program
Dabble’s lineup of promotions blends steady rewards with creative twists. Although small, the no-deposit offer is a decent starting point, but what really impressed me was its interactive and gamified Rocket Boost feature, where you can quite literally raise the stakes.
The Spin and Win wheel can also be described as a gamified feature. However, as far as deposit matches go, I prefer something more fixed, like Underdog’s 50% match of up to $1,000. Sure, the percentage may be smaller, but at least this way I am guaranteed a 50% boost to my deposit.
The Copy Cash program felt like a mini referral scheme in reverse, where players copy your entries and you receive funds. Reaching the $1,000 weekly cap is super unrealistic, as it would require 20,000 unique copies in a week, but regardless, it’s still a clever way of generating passive rewards with minimal effort.
Dabble sports and markets
The Dabble app is home to 10 different sporting disciplines, each with its own range of leagues, competitions, and formats available. Much of the action revolves around the “Big Four” American pastimes, with football dominating the scene courtesy of the NFL and college football.
Meanwhile, basketball is available through NBA markets, as well as the WNBA, and college basketball. Elsewhere, baseball and hockey are represented by the MLB and NHL.

Aside from that, Dabble also features markets for tennis, golf, and esports. Combat sports is represented by UFC events in MMA, while Formula 1 covers the platform’s motorsports offering.
Finally, soccer markets include a wide range of top European leagues in England, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy, while continental competitions such as the Champions League are also available. Stateside, you’ll find the MLS included too.
Sports & markets rating
78/100 Strong basics, but lacks depth
- Strong range of football markets
- Includes esports
- No niche entries
- Lacks international markets
The sports selection at Dabble isn’t massive but it does cover the basics very well, with particularly strong coverage across football and basketball markets in the US. Plus, the inclusion of motorsports, UFC, and esports add some much-needed variety.
However, with no niche entries like Jai Alai and zero international coverage across major sports like baseball and basketball, Dabble lacks range. This becomes especially apparent when compared to platforms like Underdog Fantasy with 18 sports available.
In fairness, Dabble’s sports selection is pretty standard for DFS apps, and sits comfortably sandwiched between other platforms like Wanna Parlay (nine sports) and Pickem (11 sports).
Dabble betting features
Dabble focuses on player prop selections and features two game modes: a standard Pick’em format and Peer-to-Peer contests. In both setups, users build lineups of 2-12 picks and predict whether their selected athletes will go over or under a stat projection set by the platform.
In Pick’em mode, you can choose between riskier All-in wagers, where all your picks must land to receive payouts, or more risk-averse Hedge bets, where lineups can still return smaller payouts even if some picks lose.
It’s important to note that when making Hedge bets, the minimum number of picks you can make is three. If one pick loses, you will still receive a smaller payout, but if two picks lose, you will not receive a payout.
When building your lineup, you’ll see that some picks will come attached with their own specific multipliers. These are known as Adjusted Picks and fall into two categories: Lightning Boost and Shielded Picks.
Lightning Boost picks are deemed to be high-risk and will therefore reward higher payouts than standard picks if they land. On the other hand, Shielded Picks are considered safer, low-risk options and subsequently will lower your payout if you win.
Adjusted Picks are available in both game modes and you can also build lineups using Lightning Boosts and Shielded Picks. The Dabble app automatically adjusts the final potential payout based on your picks.

In Peer-to-Peer contests, your entry is automatically matched into a contest pool with other players who have placed similar lineups, with the same number of picks and entry fee.
Payouts here are based on either achieving perfect lineups, or by receiving the highest number of points in your group. In this version, users are also grouped together based on experience level.
Beginners refer to players who have entered 50 contests or less. All-Stars fall between 51 and 500 contests, while Superstars are players who have entered over 500 contests or who have previously won four prizes worth $1,000 or more.
Once an entry has been submitted, you have a five-minute window where you can cancel it. However, if some of the picks from your entry have already started, it cannot be canceled. Plus, entries cannot be edited once submitted.
Betting features rating
68/100 Simple and fun gameplay, but lacks depth
- User-friendly setup
- Adjusted Picks add flexibility to picks
- Entries cannot be edited once submitted
- Lacks complex DFS mechanics
I personally liked how Dabble kept things simple with two core game modes built around familiar pick formats. It’s a formula that’s been tried and tested by many other DFS platforms, including Chalkboard Fantasy. But like the saying goes, don’t fix what isn’t broken.
The Peer-to-Peer setup adds a nice layer of competitiveness, while Hedge bets in the standard pickem format provide nice breathing space. Adjusted Picks also give players more freedom when building lineups.
Some players will understandably lament the lack of features and may prefer more complex fantasy setups like Sleeper, which offers a wide range of customization and game modes.
Dabble odds and payouts
Unlike traditional sportsbooks that use betting odds to determine payouts, DFS platforms like Dabble calculate winnings using multipliers. Lower multipliers indicate safer entries with modest payouts, while higher multipliers offer larger potential returns but require more correct picks.
In most cases, these multipliers are fixed and depend on the number of picks in your lineup as well as whether you choose an All-in or Hedge entry. It’s important to note that a 12-pick Hedge lineup does not have the same payout potential as a 12-pick All-in entry.
The table below demonstrates how payouts are distributed with standard picks. Note how Hedge entries have lower returns compared to All-in payouts, but they also allow some room for error.
Regardless, getting four picks wrong in a Hedge entry will not return any payout:
| Number of Picks | All-in Payouts | Hedge Payouts(All picks land) | Hedge Payouts (1 pick loses) | Hedge Payouts (2 picks lose) | Hedge Payouts (3 picks lose) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 3x | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A |
| 3 | 6x | 2.5x | 1.25x | No return | No return |
| 4 | 10x | 5x | 1.5x | No return | No return |
| 5 | 20x | 10x | 1.5x | 0.4x | No return |
| 6 | 35x | 25x | 1.5x | 0.4x | No return |
| 7 | 60x | 35x | 2.5x | 1x | No return |
| 8 | 100x | 50x | 5x | 1.5x | No return |
| 9 | 175x | 50x | 10x | 2x | 0.4x |
| 10 | 300x | 75x | 15x | 4x | 0.4x |
| 11 | 500x | 125x | 20x | 5x | 1x |
| 12 | 1,000x | 250x | 40x | 7.5x | 1x |
While the maximum win potential for standard picks using an All-in entry stands at 1,000x your stake, Lightning Boost picks can see this potential reach as high as 5,000x your wager. This is because Lightning Boost picks carry their own multipliers which are then added to the payouts from standard lineups.
When it comes to Peer-to-Peer contests, there are two possible ways to win or earn returns. The most straightforward is achieving a Perfect Line-Up where all your picks are correct. This follows the same payout structure as All-in wagers.
Alternatively, if there are no players in your group that receive a Perfect Line-Up, the entry with the highest score wins the contest prize. One correct pick equates to one point, a push or a tie earn you 0.5 points. Void picks where the athlete did not play also equate to 0.5 points. Incorrect points return 0 points.
Odds rating
80/100 Big payout potential, but higher risks
- Up to 1,000x base payout
- Up to 5,000x payout with boosts
- Maximum payout requires 12 correct picks
- Contests very competitive
I thought that Dabble’s maximum payout potential of 5,000x when using boosts is super generous and puts the sports app on par with platforms like Underdog Fantasy. Plus, Dabble’s maximum base payout of 1,000x your wager for a 12-pick All-in entry is also very impressive.
For comparison, the maximum base payout at Underdog sits at 120x eight correct picks. Another sports app by the name of Pickem has a maximum base payout of 37.5x your wager for six correct picks.
While those payouts are lower, reaching Dabble’s 1,000x payout is less realistic as it requires all twelve picks to land. In practice, players will be working with smaller lineups and lower multipliers.
Payment methods at Dabble
The Dabble app is home to four betting payment methods. For deposits, this includes Apple Pay as well as debit and credit cards via Visa and Mastercard. Withdrawals can be made through Mastercard and Visa debit cards or via online bank transfers.
Deposits are instant and start at a minimum of $5 per transaction. According to customer support, Dabble does not set its own fixed maximum deposit limit. Actual entry fees for playing start as low as $0.01 unless stated otherwise in a promotion.
It’s worth noting that any deposits, including those made through promotions, come with a 1x playthrough requirement before withdrawals can be approved. For instance, a $20 deposit must be matched by at least $20 worth of entries before a withdrawal attempt can be made.

Speaking of withdrawals, the platform itself does not have a fixed minimum or maximum amount, but this will depend on the payment method being used. For one-time withdrawals that exceed $600, you will be required to submit a W-9 form for IRS purposes.
Standard processing time for withdrawals ranges between one to three business days. That said, linking your bank account with Aeropay can fast-track withdrawal times to just a few hours. For this, you need to check on whether your bank is eligible for Real Time Payments (RTP).
Platform rating
81/100 Fast withdrawals, but severely lacking in variety
- Aeropay for faster withdrawals
- Standard debit/credit cards supported
- Lacks major e-wallet options
- Prepaid cards not accepted
With just four options, it’s not usual for DFS platforms like Dabble to have a very limited range of payment methods available. The likes of ParlayPlay, for instance, only have three each.
What I found more disappointing was the complete absence of major digital wallets. Aside from Apple Pay, popular names like Skrill, Trustly, Neteller, and PayPal are all missing. The fact that prepaid cards like CashApp are not accepted is also a letdown.
To end on a brighter note, Aeropay bank transfers can dramatically reduce processing times for withdrawals from days to just a few hours, saving you time and hassle.
How safe is Dabble?
To safeguard player transactions, Dabble’s website uses industry-standard ECDSA signatures. To help protect and encrypt sensitive information, the platform also utilizes 384-bit hashing.
The app itself also requires players to verify their account by submitting ID and a selfie. When it comes to responsible gaming protocols, the Dabble app comes equipped with several self-service tools aimed at helping players budget and control their playing time.
This includes deposit limits, where users can set daily, weekly, and monthly caps on how much they can deposit. Once implemented, it cannot be reversed until allotted time has passed.

Other self-service tools include Take a Break, a feature that temporarily restricts access to your account for a designated period of time, ranging from one day, a week, six months, or even five years.
A self-exclusion option is also available within the app, or can be requested from customer care. This will permanently ban you from accessing your account.
Dabble’s homepage on responsible gaming provides useful links to several Help articles, covering various topics related to betting responsibly. At the bottom of the page, you’ll also find links to external resources such as the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline, and several state-specific support services.
Safety rating
75/100 Strong security with basic RG tools
- Strong encryption standards
- User-friendly self-service tools
- Limited responsible gaming tools
- No time or loss limits
Dabble’s use of modern cybersecurity features is pretty solid, and its 384-bit encryption gives me the peace of mind that my assets are well protected.
However, when it came to responsible gaming measures, it was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, I appreciated how transparent and easy the information was to find. I also really liked how simple it was to set up deposit caps.
That said, when it comes to the array of tools provided, Dabble is a bit bare bones. It lacks more advanced features commonly seen in other platforms like OwnersBox, including wagering restrictions, time limits, and stop/loss caps.
Customer support at Dabble
Dabble is home to two main modes of communication for contacting customer service: Live chat and email support at [email protected]. For non-registered users, selecting the live chat widget will connect you to an AI bot called Roger that can help answer basic and intermediate queries.
While customer support is available 24/7, if you want to chat with a real person, live chat hours are from 8:00 AM to 8 PM Central (CT), seven days a week. If you are within this timeframe, you can simply inform Roger that you wish to chat with a real person.

Responses from human agents were professional and provided that little bit more nuance which Roger could not. Response times varied, although answers typically took around three to five minutes.
Aside from that, Dabble also provides a well-oiled Help Center home to numerous articles organized into different categories depending on the topics. You’ll also find an extensive FAQ section available.
Support & community rating
72/100 Strong AI support but limited options
- Live chat available to non-registered users
- Extensive Help Center
- No 24/7 live chat with real humans
- No phone or text support
Over the years, I have dealt with a lot of AI assistant chat bots. I can now confidently say that Roger at Dabble is by far the most advanced and helpful AI chat bot that I have come across.
I was fully prepared for broken English and answers that look like they came from a selection of fixed templates. Instead, its level of understanding and reaction to different questions was refreshing to see.
While not quite 24/7, the fact that live chat features with a real human are also accessible to non-registered users is a major plus. As for the responses, mainly good but response times varied from a few seconds to over five minutes.
The only real downside is the lack of alternative contact options such as phone or SMS support.
Usability of Dabble app
As a mobile-only platform, Dabble is built for both iOS and Android devices. Navigation is smooth, with designated categories that neatly divide markets based on sports.

A menu bar at the bottom allows you to sift through different key sections. It’s from here that you can gain access to the feed, follow other players, copy entries and vice versa. You can also access the dedicated Banter section, which acts as a live chat where users can interact, share picks, and react to games in real time.

Platform rating
81/100 Intuitive design with strong social features
- Includes search bar
- Lower menu bar for smooth navigation
- Mobile-only platform
- Interface can look busy
I was really impressed by how intuitive the app felt. The social feed may take some getting used to, but overall you don’t need to be overly familiar with DFS platforms to get a good grasp of the actual layout.
Admittedly, it can look a bit too busy at times, but overall it’s very smooth and easy to move between different sections. That blend of social media with DFS platforms won’t be for everyone, but the platform does a good job of separating the two, especially for those who prefer more traditional setups.
The only real drawback is that the platform is exclusively available on mobile apps. This means that if you want to view the layout firsthand, you need to actually download the app and create an account. Ideally, having a web version available would make things more flexible.
