Expert verdict
After thoroughly examining all the aspects of Fanatics sportsbook, it’s hard not to be impressed with its consistency across the board, with solid-to-good scores in all our categories.
Unique aspects like the FanCash loyalty system, live NFL streaming, and withdrawal tracker give customers a great reason to pick Fanatics over similar platforms.
But for seasoned bettors, those features might not be enough to outweigh the lack of a desktop version and unremarkable payouts and promotions.
Overall, top-tier aesthetics and strong responsible gaming and support options make Fanatics a solid addition to the market and a potentially great entry point for newer bettors, even if there is certainly room for improvement.

Bonuses at Fanatics sportsbook
Fanatics offers a new-user promo of $1,000 in No Sweat bets. This comes in the form of 10 daily bonus bets of up to $100 following an initial $10 deposit.
Every day, customers will receive a 100% match on an unsuccessful wager for any market, credited to their accounts within 72 hours. Qualifying bets can be as little as $1 but must have odds of -500 or longer.

A warning: be vigilant with this offer. It’s for 10 consecutive days after registering, so if you miss a day, you can’t carry the No Sweat bonus forward.
This promotion isn’t available for those in Illinois, New York, or North Carolina. Instead, Fanatics offers $50 in bonus bets if customers bet $10 on any market, regardless of the result (again, the wager must be -500 odds or longer).
Bonus rating
- Great sign-up bonus
- Low qualifying wager for sign-up offer
- Average promotions
First impressions are everything, and the sign-up offer is key to that for a sportsbook. Fanatics’ welcome bonus is pretty generous and matches up well with what the rest of the market offers.
I especially like its flexibility. With a minimum qualifying bet of $1, customers looking to make modest first bets and those willing to hit the daily maximum of $100 are both rewarded.
The 10-day structure also gives more hesitant users the chance to get comfortable and still get close to the $1,000 total reward offering with bigger bets later on.
Elsewhere, Fanatics’ promotions are more standard stuff. The promo section only had a handful of profit boosts for parlays ranging from 20–25% — decent but for example we see FanDuel hitting 30%.
There were more significant boosts for major events, but again, the variety and frequency just weren’t what I’d hoped for.
Sports and markets at Fanatics sportsbook
At first glance, Fanatics offers a solid range of 21 sports to wager on, from heavy hitters like football and basketball to less mainstream ones like snooker and darts. Major events are also extensively covered and easy to find.

Fanatics looks to take full advantage of its live-streaming partnership with the NFL by providing an outstanding array of football markets, coming close to hitting the 200 mark.

Sports and markets rating
- Top-tier football markets
- No esports
- Only average sports total
If you’re glued to the couch every Sunday, Fanatics is your ideal football companion. The sportsbook’s NFL markets hold their own against the best in the industry, hitting the country’s most popular sport from every angle you could hope for.
Basketball and baseball don’t match the high standard set by football, but they’re still respectable.
When it comes to the total sports offered, I was slightly disappointed. Fair or not, Fanatics’ strong brand connection to sports means I came in with sky-high expectations, only to find an average amount of sports compared to a sportsbook like bet365, which has 30-plus.
Finally, while still not a staple for many sportsbooks, the lack of esports is a notable flaw in 2025 for me.
Betting features at Fanatics sportsbook
Fanatics sportsbook offers an impressive array of user-friendly betting features —chief among the ability to watch live NFL games.
Bet builder, cashout, and live betting are all present and have simple functions that are clear and quick to use.
Feature facts
Fanatics’ USP, however, is FanCash — a rewards system that allows you to earn up to 10% cash back on bets, which can be used for bonus wagers or as credit to buy merchandise from Fanatics. Even better, the bonus bets have an extremely generous minimum redemption threshold of $0.10.

Another unique feature is Fanatics Fair Play, a policy to refund a prop wager if, for example, a player is injured in the first quarter and can’t return.
Betting features rating
- FanCash rewards
- Extensive live betting
- Live NFL streaming
- Live tracker can be slow to load
Fanatics’ FanCash scheme is one of the most impressive reward offerings I’ve seen from a sportsbook.
Using the company’s sports connection is an inventive way to create a unique reward program, and as a lover of sports merchandise, it’s one of the main reasons I’ll continue to use them.
Live betting is where punters can often find value, and Fanatics gives its customers ample opportunity to do so with an extensive live betting section.
Of course, Fanatics’ crown jewel is the ability to live stream NFL games in-app. Everyone knows football is king, and this feature brings an extra dimension of fun to gridiron wagers.
If I were to nitpick, the live tracker for individual events would sometimes take a little too long to load. But altogether, there’s little to complain about with Fanatics’ betting features.
Odds at Fanatics sportsbook
After experimenting with odds for different sports and at varying times of the day, Fanatics comes in with a respectable but not remarkable 95.3% average payout.
Odds facts
Category | Details |
---|---|
Average payout | 95.3% |

Basketball fared the best of the major four sports at 95.9%, while football produced a 95.6% mark (baseball is out of season currently so we’re unable to provide its rating). In terms of live betting, we found a payout percentage of 93.1%
Odds rating
- Competitive basketball payouts
- Below-average live payouts
While Fanatics does many things well, no one is running to the rooftops to yell about their odds offerings. For the most part, they’re solid to good, but I was hoping for more from a relative newcomer looking to take a bigger chunk of the pie from the big boys.
As an avid basketball bettor, I was happy to see the sport come close to eclipsing the 96% mark, a strong result in our rating system.
Unfortunately, the results of my look into Fanatics’ live betting — which is otherwise strong in terms of features and quantity – were more disappointing.
Live betting almost always produced lower payouts, but a 93% mark falls short of the standard set by the rest of the category’s offerings.
Payments at Fanatics sportsbook
Fanatics provides most of the standard options for payments — with some minor variations by state – that you expect from a sportsbook, such as debit card and PayPal. Not accepting credit cards is the exception to this.
While Fanatics provides a solid range of payments, needing to deposit from a provider to withdraw from that same method is limiting. Balancing out that rigidity is a strong minimum deposit ($5), minimum withdrawal ($1), and instant deposit times.

Fanatics also boasts a unique withdrawal tracker — similar to when you order a pizza — allowing you to follow your money through all the withdrawal stages and giving you peace of mind.
Payments rating
- Withdrawal tracker
- Low minimums for deposits/withdrawals
- No credit card option
- Withdrawals need same-provider deposits
As someone who often gets antsy waiting for my winnings to hit my bank account, Fanatics’ withdrawal tracker is a big hit. I love being able to see exactly where my money is. It’s such an easy transparency win for a sportsbook.
On the flip side, not having credit cards as a payment option is a negative. It’s not my go-to method, but I do like to see it.
Overall, Fanatics gets its lowest individual score for payments. Its services are not bad by any means, and most in the industry don’t offer that much more.
But with more and more people looking for flexibility with their online payment options, I don’t think just offering the standard features should be enough anymore.
Safety at Fanatics sportsbook
You can find all the industry-standard responsible gaming efforts at Fanatics. Licensed in over 20 states, the sportsbook makes its responsible gaming section easy to find. Once there, setting limits or requesting a timeout only takes a few clicks.

Safety rating
- Strong responsible gaming efforts
- Widely licensed
- Online player complaints of betting limits
Coming from such a well-established brand, I went into this review thinking Fanatics would leave no stone unturned when protecting its customers. It mostly matched that expectation.
The responsible gaming section is right there when you go into your account page, and from there, you can easily set up limits, reality checks, and more features that all boast lots of customization.
Present in 22 states and Washington D.C. after scooping up PointsBet, Fanatics only trails the major names in the industry in terms of scale. So, you can feel safe using its sportsbook, knowing the number of hoops Fanatics was likely required to jump through to be licensed with so many different regulatory bodies.
Fanatics adds a further sense of security for your data with other standard safety features like multi-factor authentication and 256-bit SSL encryption.
On the negative side, I found multiple complaints from people on online forums about Fanatics limiting their accounts, sometimes soon after registration.
I didn’t experience any similar issues, but these complaints were widespread enough to be worth acknowledging.
Support at Fanatics sportsbook
Fanatics offers a range of customer support services headlined by a 24/7 live chat, which includes an initial chatbot to direct you to the relevant help section or give you a brief answer to simple queries. Other options include email and an in-depth FAQ section. The only significant omission is a contact phone number.

Support rating
- Quick chat responses
- 24/7 availability
- Thorough help section
- No phone contact
Fanatics provides solid customer support options, with its live chat option particularly impressive.
Even when I was given an expected wait times of several minutes to connect to an agent, I was often matched within seconds, and at varying times of day.
Unlike some sportsbooks, when Fanatics says 24/7, it means it. Responses were quick and rarely needed any additional context from me to get my answer. Even Fanatics’ chatbot was useful, which is a minor miracle.
The help page can be somewhat daunting because of the number of states Fanatics calls home, but everything is laid out clearly, so you can be sure you’re getting the right information for your location.
No phone support is a significant negative for me, as complex issues are, in my experience, far simpler to resolve when speaking to someone rather than over email or live chat.
Finally, another small grip is Fanatics requires you to be logged in to access support options.
Fanatics sportsbook platform
Fanatics is an app-only sportsbook, which isn’t a rarity, but it’s still disappointing when other big-name players in the market offer a strong desktop option.
That said, the sleek app stacks up admirably compared to the likes of FanDuel and DraftKings, with intuitive betting functions, crisp menus, and standout graphics.

Platform rating
- Sleek app
- Easy registration
- No desktop option
- Sports missing from menu
Using the Fanatics great-looking app is quick and simple. You can jump from sport to sport and create and edit your bets with ease.
The bet builder is particularly strong, giving you all the information and options needed without being cluttered or confusing. I also liked the “Discover” page, a curated tab of games and potential bets based on your preferences.
I did find one issue: Fanatics has a seemingly extensive “All Sports” tab when you go into the search menu. However, I found some minor sports — such as volleyball and darts — weren’t on the main menu after manually searching for them, which could lead to customer confusion.
All things considered, Fanatics’ platform rivals some of the best in the industry. I just hope a desktop version is part of its plans.
