Expert verdict
There’s a lot to like about ClutchBet sportsbook. It may be small, but its dedication to quality puts it above other competitors.
ClutchBet Colorado comes with a lot of unique qualities. E-sports is rare enough in sportsbooks, and the micro-betting function for live betting is great. It’s got a lot of different markets and bet types for all the sports it has, meaning you’ll have tons to bet on for your favorite sport.
The problem boils down to its size. ClutchBet is a new sportsbook, which means it will naturally be smaller than established brands. It has fewer sports, fewer betting features, and fewer payment methods than what you’d find at other places.
What it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. Loads of bonuses, great odds, and an excellent customer support team cement this as a sportsbook worth checking out.
State differences
ClutchBet first hit the states in Iowa, and has since made its way to Colorado. BlueBet also has 10-year market access agreements with Louisiana and Indiana, and should be opening their doors there soon as well.
This review is based on the ClutchBet Colorado site, and all data is taken from there. For a full list of differences between the two states, check out the table below.
Licenced states | Number of sports | Compatible devices | Customer support | Licensed by |

Colorado | 15 | iOS, Android, desktop | Email, phone, live chat, FAQ and Help Center | Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) |

Bonus rating
- Lots of promos
- Regular boosted odds
- No VIP program
- Strict terms and conditions
On the surface, grabbing up to $250 in Bonus Bets is a great deal. But for newer punters or those wanting to check out a different sportsbook, a first bet is, realistically speaking, not going to approach that $250 cap.
In practice, that 20% weekly return simply pales in comparison to offers like Caesars sportsbook’s $1,250 stakeback (which comes with loyalty points to boot, another area where ClutchBet lacks).
Fortunately, the ClutchBet sportsbook makes up for this by offering a staggering number of promos. You’ve got bet refunds, a lottery, boosted odds, parlay boosts, and game insurance — all regularly rotating.
Boosted bets are excluded from the welcome bonus, and the promo terms can be strict. Still, it’s nice to see a sportsbook that doesn’t abandon its existing players and offers a competitive variety of promotions all year round.
ClutchBet sports and markets
ClutchBet sportsbook lets you bet on 15 different sports, ranging from popular sports like football to more niche ones like cricket. It also allows you to be on esports, which is rare for sportsbooks in the current US market.
You’ll find all major events are covered at ClutchBet for each relevant sport, including the NBA, NCAAB, and the NFL.

Featured betting markets
Sports and markets rating
- Esports betting
- Loads of leagues
- Great synergy with boosted odds
- Lack of niche sports
- No betting on politics
If you’re coming here to bet on football and baseball, then you’re in luck. ClutchBet is one of the best in the business.
First off, all the major leagues for these sports are represented, and you’ve got a nice selection of markets per match to bet on as well. 122 markets per match for baseball is impressive, especially when you have other sportsbooks struggling to hit 50+.
This pairs well with the regularly boosted odds on players or teams every week. You’ll have loads to bet on and great odds.
The problems start to appear for all the other sports. 15 sports is a good number, but it hardly compares to a sportsbook like Bet365 with double the amount. I would have liked to have seen cycling or lacrosse, or even a special market like politics and entertainment.
The more niche sports also suffer from a low amount of markets per match, coming in at around 30+. It’s to be expected for these less popular sports, but it would still have been nice to see them hit the same numbers as football.
Still, there’s a lot to like, plus ClutchBet sportsbook lets you bet on esports, which is pretty cool and a rare sport to find available.
ClutchBet sportsbook betting features
ClutchBet’s main betting feature is its micro-betting for live MLB, NFL, or NBA games. When one of these live games is on, the betting options drastically increase with thousands of tiny bets on offer.
This pairs well with the general live betting offering of ClutchBet sportsbook, which can go up to 30 events during the more active sports seasons. There’s no live stream or data shown, but odds update fairly quickly.

With regards to other ClutchBet betting features, you can find a bet builder, as well as plenty of different betting options including spread, moneyline, totals, parlays, futures, and prop bets.
Betting features rating
- Live micro-betting
- Quick odds updates
- No early cashout
- No live stream
ClutchBet is entirely riding on its live offering, and even that is somewhat disappointing. A live betting service with no live data and no live streaming? That’s not a good look for ClutchBet.
Still, the micro-betting offer is unique. Through it, you suddenly get hundreds of tiny bets you can make. These are helped by the quick updates to live odds, making the whole live betting experience genuinely tense and exciting.
It’s a shame micro-betting is only available for the MLB, NFL, and NBA, as without it the rest falls a little flat. There’s a bet builder, but no early cashout, a feature available in most US sportsbooks such as Fliff.
The silver lining is that ClutchBet sportsbook offers plenty of different bet types. If you want to try your hand at some futures or prop betting, you’ll find that here.
ClutchBet sportsbook odds
ClutchBet odds are in line with the industry standard, falling at around the 96% range. These payouts have been calculated from a random sample of different games, to try and get as accurate a number as possible.
These odds stay at this range for all the sports markets, but they fall to 94.2% once it comes to live betting. This is common for sportsbooks, due to the player having the extra advantage of seeing the game in action.

Odds rating
- Parlay boosts
- Special boosted odds
- Low live odds
ClutchBet’s odds are honestly quite decent. I consider 97% to be the benchmark for great odds, so coming in at around 96% on average is quite nice.
The great news is that ClutchBet loves its boosted odds, and changes these up daily. If you keep your eye on the promos page, your odds will go from good to great.
Live odds are a bit disappointing. It’s standard for sportsbooks to lower their odds for live games, but dropping down to 94.2% is a bit harsh. Keep in mind live micro-betting is what makes ClutchBet special, so having odds in at least the 95% range would have been preferable.
Payments at ClutchBet
ClutchBet has seven different deposit methods and three different withdrawal methods. If you wish to add funds to ClutchBet sportsbook, you can use VISA, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal, VIP Preferred, Skrill, and Paysafe Cash. All of these will be instantly transferred, except PaySafe which has a 5-15 minute delay.

You can withdraw your cash through PayPal, VIP Preferred, and Skrill, though you will need to have made deposits with these methods to be able to withdraw with them. Withdrawal requests are reviewed within 1-3 business days by an internal team and will take another 1-2 business days to be processed.
There are no set limits for deposits or withdrawals, though ClutchBet may set a withdrawal limit on a per-player basis.
Payments rating
- Popular methods available
- No max limits
- Few withdrawal methods
- Long withdrawal times
If you’re looking to spend money, then you’re in luck! If you’re looking to get your money back, then less so.
ClutchBet is great for deposits. You’ve got cards covered, ACH transfers covered, and there are even e-wallets like PayPal and Skrill available. All of these are popular payment methods, so it’s nice to see them.
The withdrawals however get frustrating. It’s common for sportsbooks to have less withdrawal methods than deposit ones, but why are the cards left out? They’re a contend for the most popular payment methods in the US, and they’re already available as deposit methods, so what’s the issue?
Whilst we’re at it, what is going on with those withdrawal times as well? I understand that withdrawals take longer than deposits, but here you could be waiting up to five business days to get your money back.
Still, even with all these negatives ClutchBet manages to have a great offering. No fees, low min transactions, and especially no max limits shoot the score up here.
ClutchBet safety and transparency
ClutchBet is a safe, licensed sportsbook available in Colorado and Iowa, with agreements to eventually open in Louisiana and Indiana. It comes with SHA-384 SSL encryption to keep your payment information safe from prying eyes.
ClutchBet is very transparent, with terms and conditions easily accessible in the footer of the site, as well as on the promos page with each individual promo. The site also comes with seals of trust from the Colorado Department of Revenue and the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado.

Safety rating
- Detailed RG page
- Strong SSL encryption
- No cooling off period
I’m glad to see ClutchBet scoring so well in this section. A sportsbook can have the greatest odds and best bonuses imaginable, but it’s all for nothing if it’s unsafe.
BlueBet, the parent company of ClutchBet, already has a strong reputation in Australia, so you’re betting at an established brand here. Their promise to take things seriously shows with their impressive encryption and trust seals from two associations.
It’s also great to see that the safety extends to taking care of the player as well. The RG page is exhaustive, and full of tips and tricks to help you avoid problem gambling. If you are noticing a problem emerge, ClutchBet provides tools to help you battle it.
I do wish cooling-off periods were available, as right now you’re stuck with a self-exclusion of either seven days or a whopping six months. It’s a small thing, but it would help ClutchBet get one step closer to that perfect 100 score.
ClutchBet customer support methods
You can contact ClutchBet at any point using several support channels. The main option would be through the 24/7 live chat. We tested this option several times at different points during the day, and customer support agents got back to us within 1-3 minutes. Responses generally required a couple of follow-up questions but were otherwise very helpful.

Support rating
- Plenty of support options
- Live chat available for non-registered users
- Average response time
I had a great time chatting with the ClutchBet support team. They’re a helpful bunch, eager to give you the answers to any problem you might have.
I’m glad to see that I have plenty of ways to contact them as well. Sometimes I run into a problem that can only be explained with a screenshot and a lot of drawn-in arrows, so being able to send an email is great.
The only complaint I can even think of is that the team takes a short while to respond. I’m assuming it’s because everyone is just as eager to chat with them as I am.
Rest assured, if you run into any problems, you’re in good hands here.
ClutchBet platforms — app and web browser
Here’s all of the important details that you need to know regarding ClutchBet’s desktop and mobile platform:
- Registration involves 18 fields, or 22 fields if it can’t find your address as you will need to enter it manually. It should take about 3-5 minutes to complete.
- The welcome offer requires the bonus code CLUTCH1000 that you input on registration, and is activated immediately upon the first wager.
- The ClutchBet online sportsbook app is optimized for mobile, and has small UI differences from the desktop version that make it more suitable for a handheld device.
- ClutchBet is not available on mobile browsers.
- Bonuses have a dedicated ‘Promotions’ page, and are easy to claim.
- The site comes with filters for each sport and popular sports, but no search bar.
- Live chat is sticky, but only after you start using it.

Platform rating
- Clean UI
- Lag-free site
- No search bar
- Not available on mobile browser
ClutchBet’s platform is not bad, but it’s nothing outstanding either. It simply gets the job done.
The pros: it’s a very clean site that’s pleasing to look at, and loads very fast. You won’t be stuck on loading screens here. It’s also nice to see the lengths ClutchBet went to optimize the UI for mobile apps so that the platform is comfortable to surf through on your phone.
The cons: having no search bar is a bit silly in this day and age. If ClutchBet is going to offer boosted odds on particular players, it would be nice to actually search for those players and see the bets available straight away.
It’s also a shame to see the platform not available on mobile browsers, though that’s somewhat negated by ClutchBet having an amazing app. They’ve clearly put in the effort, and just a few small improvements could easily shoot the score up in this section.
