Expert verdict
I’m very excited about what the ParlayPlay daily fantasy sports sites deliver. At first glance, I was taken aback by all the yellow, but once my eyes got used to that, I was positively surprised every step of the way.
The way contests are set up and how they manage to perfectly marry sports betting and daily fantasy sports at ParlayPlay is why I would return to this site. I am a sports fan, but I can’t say I live and breathe sports. Whenever I play DFS, I feel like other players have much more knowledge than me.
ParlayPlay bridges the gap between the all-knowing sports fan and the amateur sports fan who wants to have fun while watching the game.
Overall, the platform is super user-friendly, and setting up your account, claiming your bonus, depositing, and placing your first picks can be done in a few minutes. Yes, they are just starting, but they already have a good amount of sports available, and while things like payment options could be improved, I’m looking forward to seeing what ParlayPlay has to offer in the future.
State
Since the ParlayPlay fantasy sports sites is considered a game of skill, they can accept players from many almost all states where DFS is legal. At this time, they are not operating in all states – check the flags in the sidebar and see if it’s available in yours.

ParlayPlay bonus and promo codes
New players at the ParlayPlay site will receive a signup bonus as soon as they input their details – this consists of a $5 free entry. After signup, players will receive an email highlighting their deposit match bonus – this consists of a 100% match up to $100, which can be used similarly to a risk free entry.
There are also referral bonuses which pay $5 in free picks whenever a friend using a referral code joins the website, but the number of players who can join is capped. ParlayPlay does offer weekly referral competitions though.
ParlayPlay also features another type of rewards club known as the ParlayPlay Club. Here you will need to complete a set of challenges to climb through the ranks and receive freebies as you go along. The club doesn’t just give out free picks but also player perks. Once you reach a certain level, you’ll be able to get even more out of the website with the ability to create private groups for competitions.

Bonus rating
- $5 free play on sign up
- Bonus could be better
ParlayPlay bonuses aren’t as big and flashy as other fantasy sports sites but what they give you is enough to get you started. As soon as I signed up, I received my $5 free play in my inbox and an offer for a deposit bonus.
We’re not talking big bonuses here, but I think it’s good for a start-up. With your first deposit, you’ll receive a 100% match up to $100. The bonus section is easy to use and will also tell you how much bonus you will receive when you click on the different deposit amounts, so there are no surprises.
Another thing worth mentioning is the ParlayPlay Club. Becoming a member is easy as long as you complete a few challenges. For example, the first challenge is to verify your email address, enter a Free2Play contest and refer a friend. Once that’s done, you will receive a free t-shirt, a 10% payout boost, and professional insights to help you better make your decisions. The goodies get better and better as you climb the club ranks with entries to signed jersey raffles and more risk free entries.
Sports
When it comes to the selection of sports available, ParlayPlay wants to keep up with the big boys like DraftKings and FanDuel. All major sports leagues such as NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, NHL, UFC, college football and college basketball are available.

There is even talk that in the future they will host contests for the PGA tour and, more interestingly, eSports, with League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive available to bet on. This would put ParlayPlay in league with the big boys of fantasy betting when it comes to providing contests on eSports betting.

Sports and markets rating
- Twist on the usual sporting events
- Not a wide range sports available
So far, ParlayPlay has NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, NHL, UFC, college football, and college basketball. It’s also summer, so there aren’t many sporting events when I’m writing this ParlayPlay review, so that’s another thing to keep in mind. In their FAQs, they mention that eSports and golf are going to be added.
What I do like, though, is that ParlayPlay does things differently here. Yes, you can still build your dream team, but you do this the same way you would when you’re sports betting with over/under bets. It’s a clever twist on DFS, and I’m excited to see what else is around the corner.
How to play ParlayPlay contests
There are two types of contests that take center stage at ParlayPlay. These are the More/Less and the Hit It.
If you’re playing More/Less, you’ll be asked to pick from the assigned player props on a specific game or you can mix and match players across teams and sports. You’ll then need to choose a parlay of two to four outcomes and set a payout amount of 3x, 5x, or 10x based on the parlay outcome. There’s a variety of props to choose from on sports stats we are already familiar with. In football and soccer, you have a number of options/stats to choose from depending on the position.
In the Hit It contests, players must choose two athletes within a game and predict a point range for them. Fixed payouts are associated with this, making it feel more like sports betting. Payouts range from 0.5x your stake to 6x, depending on how close you get to the actual result.

There are also many free2play contests available every week. These are similar to the tournaments you would generally see at fantasy sports sites, where you compete against other players and receive a cash prize if you place in the top spots.
Betting features rating
- New way to play fantasy sports
- This system might not be for everyone
The backbone of every DFS site is the number of contests and features they have. But at ParlayPlay, things are done differently. The site features contests based on player props similar to bets placed in a sportsbook.
What sets ParlayPlay’s daily fantasy sports apart is that you have fixed payouts on your predictions. If you do Hit It contests and you correctly predict the outcome of the result, then you are guaranteed a payout. There are also free2play contests more in line with the usual DFS tournaments.
The simplicity of the contest features here is what excited me as I was writing this ParlayPlay review. You don’t need to be a brainiac or have computers running constant simulations to get to the top of the tournament to get a prize. And this makes it perfectly suited for novices who want to try their hand at fantasy sports but don’t have the time or the energy to conduct countless research and compete with the sharks.
This makes ParlayPlay a great way to enjoy sports with a little DFS betting on the side.
Payments
ParlayPlay is lacking here when compared to other sites. Currently, they only accept deposits via credit cards and work with Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, so Amex is unavailable too. The site doesn’t charge any fees for deposits.

While deposits are instant, you’ll have to wait a little longer for your withdrawals. Withdrawals can be made instantaneously, and there is a minimum withdrawal of $30. These are sent back to the card used within the last 90 days, and any additional money is then sent over using ACH.
You can deposit from a minimum of $5 and up to $500 daily as long as your deposits don’t go over $2,000 per week or $10,000 a month.

Payments rating
- Instant deposits
- No PayPal or other ewallets
This is where ParlayPlay comes up short when compared to the competition. Their choice of payment methods is small, smaller even than the options found at fellow fantasy sports site OwnersBox. Whereas OwnerBox offers 5 modes of payment, ParlayPlay only offers 3 types of credit card options. Then again, many of us use things like e-wallets to limit our bankroll when playing online.
Sometimes depositing via credit card is just way too darn easy, and you may spend more than you intended. Having options like PayPal or other e-wallets can help keep your spending in check for some people, so I do hope that ParlayPlay realizes this and increases the number of payment methods available.
Is ParlayPlay legit?
Yes, ParlayPlay is a legit DFS site. You might not recognize it as one of the big brand names of DFS, but they are building something unique.
The ParlayPlay dfs site is a cut above the rest regarding player safety and transparency. First up, there is an easy-to-spot Responsible Gambling section in the footer. Clicking this will show all the information about responsible pay and player limits. Players can set deposit limits, contest entry limits, and a maximum entry amount.
Self-exclusion is also available, as are parental controls considering that the ParlayPlay dfs site is only available to players over 18. There is also a section if a player needs additional help with contact details to ICRG and NCPG.

- Create your own play limits
- No 2FA available to secure the account
There’s very little to fault here. The ParlayPlay daily fantasy sports team takes player security seriously. I was able to set my limits if I wanted to – from deposit limits to daily entry amounts through the app itself (on the ‘My Account’ page). It would be great to be able to do this directly from the site, and I hope this is something that will be worked on in the future.
The site has clear security protocols, meaning my account and payment details are safe. Reading through their FAQs, I noticed that all player money is kept in a separate bank account, so it is there whenever a player wants to play or withdraw. Thumbs up all around.
Support
ParlayPlay customer support comes in every form you can think of. You can get in touch via phone, email, web form, and live chat, although this comes with a wait of around 30 minutes. Their customer support team is available daily from 9 am to 11:30 pm ET.
They also have a very extensive and well-organized FAQs section which is searchable.

- So many options to choose from
- Would be nice to have instant chat
When I first tried ParlayPlay daily fantasy sports, I immediately headed to their FAQs because I wanted to understand how their daily fantasy sports bets work. I’m happy to say that I wasn’t disappointed and could learn how the system works quite quickly thanks to their self-help section.
I also tried contacting them regarding another matter that wasn’t covered in the FAQs. This time, I used Frank, their chatbot. I sent in my question, and Frank then asked if I could send in my sign-up email. I sent it, and the customer support team replied within the hour. Florens not only replied on the live chat but also took the time to send me an email to make sure I got the message.
Platform
As soon as you land on the ParlayPlay fantasy sports site, you will immediately get a sense of how the site was built to be user-friendly. On the homepage, you will see what types of games are available and which sports.
Sign-up can be done with a few clicks, and once you go through the quick process, you’re sent an email to verify your email address, and you’ll find your freeplay bonus ready for you.

At the time of writing, there is a ParlayPlay app for iOS available that was launched in August 2022. If you’re an Android user, or maybe you prefer to visit via browser, the ParlayPlay site is built as mobile first. Technically you don’t need a dedicated ParlayPlay app, and you won’t have trouble accessing it via your mobile browser.
Platform rating
- Ultra user friendly platform
- Can’t think of anything
ParlayPlay wins when it comes to its platform. I can honestly say that I was never this impressed with how user-friendly this site is. Sign-up was easy and pain-free. There are no hoops you need to jump, though. Even claiming the $5 free entry was a breeze and the no-deposit bonus was ready for me in my email. Operators everywhere need to have a go at ParlayPlay and learn from them.
Even depositing was super easy, and I could see how much would land in my account before I went through with the deposit without having to insert any bonus codes and pray that they work. Why can’t more sites be like this?
