Expert verdict
777 Strike is a good-looking slot with retro vibes and strong payout potential. With symbols that can pay out up to 77x and a max win of over 2,500x, on the surface it seems like this Red Tiger slot has a lot to offer. My 777 Strike online slot review reveals there’s a bit more to it, and it’s not all as good as it seems.
The solid payout values are limited by the slot’s RTP. It sits at around 95.80%, which is just below average. Since the volatility is also medium-high, the slot doesn’t pay out that frequently, which makes it a bit frustrating.
The bonus features of this slot are innovative and a fresh take on free spins, but they also don’t trigger often enough for them to balance out the low hit rate on this game. Two additional free spins rounds with wins guaranteed on each spin, plus Sticky Wilds, is an attractive feature, but if they don’t trigger often enough, there’s not much to them.
Visually though, this slot does look great. It’s a more stripped-back and retro feel, compared to some of Red Tiger’s other slots, but it still delivers on having high-quality graphics, well-chosen music, and subtle but effective animations.
- High-quality retro audiovisuals
- Max win potential of over 2,500x
- Innovative free spins and Sticky Wilds
- Below average RTP of 95.80%
- Bet range of $0.20-$20
- Slot doesn’t pay out frequently

777 Strike RTP and volatility
Red Tiger’s 777 Strike slot has an RTP of 95.80% and medium-high volatility. There are 10 paylines on the 5×3 slot, with a maximum win of over 2,500x.
There are nine paying symbols and a Wild. The lowest-paying symbols in ascending order are: J, Q, K, and A. The J, as the lowest symbol, pays out 0.6x for three symbols and 2.4x for five. The A can pay out 5.2x for five symbols.

Maximum win | 2,500x |
Highest-paying symbol | Red Triple 7 |
Volatility | Medium-high |
The remaining symbols are the cherries, lemon, blue 7, green double 7, and red triple 7. The green double 7 pays out 7x for three symbols and 47x for five. The red triple 7 and the Wild are tied for the highest-paying symbol in the game, paying out 77x for five symbols.
The Wild can also substitute for any paying symbol.
Payouts rating
- Potential for x77 payouts
- Payout values increase steadily
- Below average 95.80% RTP
- Slot doesn’t pay out frequently
The payouts are one of the better features of this slot. The highest-paying symbols can pay out 77x your stake for five symbols, which can allow for some big wins. When my bet was set to just $2, I landed seven triple 7s and won $100.
Even the second-highest symbol pays out 47x, which is a strong payout value. What lets the slot down, though, is the RTP and volatility.
Despite these great payout values, the slot doesn’t pay out frequently. An RTP of 95.80% is below average, even if just by a little. It increases the house edge enough to affect the rate the slot pays out. The medium-high volatility doesn’t balance it out enough either, so although there’s potential for some big wins, the slot won’t pay out that often on average.
To compare, Fish n’ Fish has the same volatility but a higher RTP of 96.10%. Although the payouts are smaller, with the highest symbol paying out 25 for five symbols, I had more frequent and substantial wins while playing as the RTP was better.
777 Strike stakes
The bet range on this slot starts at $0.20 and increases to a maximum bet of $20. Some versions might have a maximum of $40, but I also tested out the demo on Red Tiger’s site for accuracy, which used a maximum bet of $20.

The bet is adjusted by pressing the plus and minus buttons on either side of the bet value. This increases the bet in the following increments: 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80, 1.00, 2.00, 4.00, 6.00, 10.00, 20.00.
Some versions of the slot also allow you to adjust the bet by pressing the bet value and scrolling through the options from the drop-down menu.
Stake limits rating
- Decent starting bet of $0.20
- Max win potential of 2,500x
- Bet range of $0.20-$20
- Limited betting options
777 Strike has a small bet range, and it’s disappointing. A bet range with a maximum bet of $20 limits the slot’s potential. The Clash of God’s slot has a max bet of $80, which although isn’t a lot higher still gives the player a lot more leeway to adjust their bet to work within their needs. It also has the same minimum bet of $0.20, which isn’t bad but there’s room for it to be lower.
A max bet of $20 also doesn’t come with many betting options in between. There are just 10 betting options, and once the bets hit $1, they jump to $10 and $20 very quickly, which doesn’t give players much control.
The bet range limits the slot’s win potential too. 2,500x your stake is a decent win potential for this slot, considering it has such a low bet range and just 10 paylines.
The combination of good payouts and the win potential from the bonus features is what boosts the slot’s win potential. If there was the capacity to place higher bets, there would be a stronger win potential.
Bonus features on 777 Strike
The bonus features of this slot center around Wilds and free spins. The Wild symbol, which is the word Wild with a crown, only appears during free spins. Free spins are triggered when three of the scatter symbol, which says ‘Free Spins’, land on the reels. The scatter symbol only lands on reels 1, 3, and 5, one scatter per separate reel.
This triggers one round of seven free spins. Free spins are played with a fresh set of reels and Wilds are introduced. The Wilds can substitute for any paying symbol. On the last spin of the free spins round, there’s a chance to re-trigger the free spins.

If three of the scatter symbol land on the reels, this will trigger the Win Spins. This is another round of seven free spins, with a win guaranteed on every spin.
On the last spin of the Win Spins, there’s the chance to trigger a third set of free spins. This is again triggered by three scatters landing on the reels. The third and final free spins round is known as the Wild Spins.
During the Wild Spins, wins are guaranteed with every spin and the Wilds become Sticky Wilds that stay in place for the duration of the round. When this third round ends, the game returns to the base game.
With these three rounds, there’s the potential to have up to 21 free spins.
Bonus features rating
- Innovative free spins
- Sticky Wilds
- No other bonus features
- Only seven free spins per round
Although 777 Strike only has free spins and Wilds as its special features, it does a lot with them.
The free spins, Win Spins, and Wild Spins are a cool way to make the most of the free spins format. The Win Spins and Wild Spins are a lucrative bonus feature too, with wins guaranteed on every spin, especially if Sticky Wilds are present. They can serve to balance out the slightly below-average RTP.
I never managed to trigger Win Spins, and I don’t think these two additional free spins rounds come up often. With the slot’s medium-high volatility and medium hit rate, it could take quite a lot of spins before landing the 21 free spins this game has the potential for.
During the 15 hours I spent playing, I only landed free spins twice. I got decent wins from those two rounds, but never managed to re-trigger free spins. That means realistically, you’re not likely to get more than seven free spins at a time, which isn’t a lot. Fish n’ Fish by Red Tiger had unlimited free spins.
The Wilds are also only available during the free spins rounds, which is a bit of a bummer.
The slot also loses points in this section because of the lack of other bonus features. There are no multipliers, jackpots, or any other kind of feature that could make the game a bit more dynamic.
Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania, for example, has its own innovative Buoy Bonus feature which functions like a mini-game within the slot. It also has a free spins round, multipliers, and jackpots, which shows there’s a lot you can do for bonus features in a slot.
777 Strike audiovisuals
The 777 Strike slot works with a classic theme and its symbols are the main focus of the slot. The symbols are traditional casino symbols: fruit, 7s, and card symbols.
The symbols have rich colors framed with gold and black borders and shading that makes them pop. All the symbols, except for the fruit, have a crown too. The slot sparkles and glimmers through subtle animations throughout the game.

The free spins scatter symbol has the most detail. It’s 3D, compared to the others, which are all 2D. The symbol is constantly animated, gently bouncing up and down in place. It also glitters. When the reels are spinning, if a free spins symbol is on a reel, coins and notes rain onto that reel, even if the symbols don’t land on the reel.
Audiovisual facts

Theme | Retro |
Graphics | Bright, rich colors, mixture of 2D and 3D |
Animations | Great |
Sound quality | Good |
Mobile compatibility | Excellent |
The background of the game window is a deep green, similar to the fabric on a card table, with a light crown pattern over it. During a free spins round, this background changes to dark blue.
The slot has a background track that plays throughout the game, as well as music that plays when the reels are spinning. Both of these are classic tracks that you could hear in a traditional casino.
The game sounds, like the whirring of the reels or the dramatic thumb the free spins symbols make when they land on the reels, are also well-chosen to complement the slot’s overall theme.
Audiovisuals rating
- Bright and engaging graphics
- Modern animations
- Lacks fine details
This is one of Red Tiger’s simpler slots. Some others, such as Phoenix Fire Power Reels, have strong themes and are packed with details and small touches that make it truly immersive.
With 777 Strike, there aren’t any of these additional features or small details that bring the slot to life. For players who prefer a more stripped-back slot game, this might be the one for you.
That said, the slot still looks great. The graphics are high-quality and the slot has rich colors that make the symbols eye-catching. There are a lot of rounded edges and a well-balanced use of 3D in this slot too, which makes it more appealing to the eye.
The animations are also fantastic. They do what they need to do and they do it so smoothly. The small glimmers and sparkles are one of the best elements of the audiovisuals.
I appreciated the background looking like the fabric of a card table, it tied into the classic theme nicely. The music fits in well too, it made me feel like I was in a classic casino in Vegas without being overstimulating like some other slots can be.
777 Strike game layout
The slot has a five-reel three-row grid, holding 15 symbols at once. Above the grid is a small paytable, displaying all the symbols and their payouts for three, four, and five-symbol combinations. The Wild box is grayed out during the base game.
When there’s a win on the reels, the symbols that form part of the win light up in the paytable, and the payout value of that win is highlighted.

To start the game, press the spin button. The turbo spin button is next to it. On the left-hand side of the grid, there are the bet buttons and the autoplay button.
The autoplay offers up to 100 autospins. It also requires you to set a loss limit, which is dependent on your current bet at the time. You can also choose to set a win limit.
The balance is found on the left of the game window. On the right there’s the menu where you can find the Help, which contains the game rules, and the Pays.
The slot runs even more smoothly on mobile. It adapts to both portrait and landscape mode, although portrait mode is more comfortable. In landscape mode, the grid doesn’t use up enough of the game window, making it a bit small.
Game layout rating
- Clean game layout
- Autoplay and Turbo Spin
- No game history
- Limited autospins
Red Tiger always delivers a solid and clean game layout. Everything is easy to find, it’s all clearly labeled, and when you switch from desktop to mobile the buttons remain easily accessible and functional.
The biggest cons here are the limited number of autospins and the lack of game history.
With the autospins, a maximum of 100 is fine but there are plenty of slots that allow more. Dead or Alive is a classic example, allowing players up to 1,000 autospins. The other additional autoplay settings are great, though, as these help players set different levels of boundaries.
On mobile, the landscape mode is a bit disappointing. The slot is almost perfect in portrait mode. It’s clear, it’s big, it’s smooth. In landscape mode, the grid is too small considering there’s so much space that could have been used.
