The Money Cart Bonus Round starts with 3 spins. The triggering values stay locked on the grid, as well as new values and feature modifiers. Every new addition resets the spin count back to 3. Regular values in the Money Cart round can be worth 1x to 10x the bet. Higher values can be worth 20x to 200x the bet. The paytable isn’t too complicated and made sense after a short run. The smaller suits paid here and there, then a Wild or one of the top characters would make the spin look somewhat more alive. Five Wilds or five Necromancers pay $40 on a $2 bet and $400 on a $20 bet, so that part was easy to remember for me without opening the paytable again.
Spades had some value for a card symbol, I got 5 paying $10 at my $2 bet. The Collector sat in a good spot too, paying $20 at $2 and $200 at $20 for five. I get why Money Train 2 became the one people talk about and rate so highly. It takes the first Money Train and makes the whole thing bigger, dirtier, and more dangerous for your balance. The original had the simpler feel and the 20,000x max win. This one goes to 50,000x, adds the 2-scatter respin, and gives the Money Cart round more ways to turn a normal bonus into something stupid.
It’s a very nice slot, yet I’d still be careful with it. A few regular spins can feel fine, then the slot starts taking its time and I remembered very quickly what high volatility means.
The Money Cart round is why I’d play it again. I liked it most when a Collector, Sniper, or Payer landed early and gave the round something to build from. Some bonuses still ended flat. This needs to be said because this slot gets hyped like every bonus is about to turn into a million dollars, when it’s not.
