The transfer market never stops, even with the World Cup in full swing. From massive international rumors to planning for the future, things are moving fast in Italy and all around the world. We live through tense days in the middle of summer, as clubs are officially cutting ties with players whose contracts just expired.

Juventus: all in on Kolo Muani

The clubs are doing everything they can to be ready for the start of a transfer market that is also focused on big names, and Randal Kolo Muani is at the very top of the list. Juventus wants him more than anyone else, even ahead of Alexander Sørloth, who was chased by the previous board.

The player is completely on board, Randal wants Juventus at all costs. The deal with Paris Saint-Germain is finally starting to take shape, with both sides negotiating after a top-secret meeting last Sunday to kick things off.

The revolving door in Paris: Massive influx of cash

Paris is also a big hub for international deals involving Italy. AC Milan signed Gonçalo Ramos, dropping a massive €74 million plus bonuses in PSG’s bank account. Meanwhile, Rafael Leão leaving Milan remains the most likely scenario.

Paris Saint-Germain will also say goodbye to Kang-in Lee as he heads to Atlético Madrid. These three departures put PSG’s books completely in the green and clear the way for new signings. Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche and RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomandé are the top two targets for Luis Campos and Luis Enrique. Paris wants both and is ready to break past the €180 million mark to get them.

Keep an eye on Bradley Barcola’s situation too, he’s vital for PSG, but Premier League teams are circling hard.

Chelsea pushing hard for Xhaka and Echevarria

A year ago, Granit Xhaka was desperate to move to Italy. He was Igli Tare’s top target for AC Milan’s 2025/2026 project, but the deal collapsed, and Xhaka ended up at Sunderland. Today, Chelsea is getting dead serious about him.

Xhaka wants back into London and is pushing hard to reunite with Xabi Alonso. Chelsea has already submitted an initial proposal and will improve it very soon.

But the Blues aren’t stopping there. They want to add another fullback after landing Palestra, and it will almost certainly be Rayo Vallecano’s Pep Echevarria. The player is on board, and club-to-club talks are moving along smoothly. This deal is close to the finish line.

That’s the latest crazy web of transfer drama, and we’re just getting started while the World Cup heats up. Keep your eyes open, more moves are on the way!
