My SpinBlitz sweepstake review covers the fine details you’re looking for, including promotions, games, customer support, and usability.

Expert verdict

There’s a lot to like about SpinBlitz, but before getting into that, I need to clarify that this is a sweepstakes casino, and not a social casino. SpinBlitz defines itself as a social casino in its terms and hides all references to SC from non-members, but after registration, everything becomes available.

On the surface, SpinBlitz looks like a good choice for a sweeps casino. For starters, it has 1,531 games, which is one of the highest I’ve seen for a sweeps casino. Those games are provided by 34 software providers, three of which cover the live casino section.

SpinBlitz has good coin packages, but I was expecting more promos. Right now, there’s only the refer-a-friend promo, which has a lot of conditions, and the daily log-in bonus, which I was also expecting to be more lucrative, especially as a progressive rewards system.

There is a sign-up bonus, but 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC is less than I was expecting. Fortunately, there are other ways to win more virtual coins, and jackpots are one of them. SpinBlitz has its own in-house Blitz Jackpot and offers several jackpot games.

What needs work is the customer support and the overall usability of the site. Customer support information is disorganized, and the support received by email is average at best. As for the live chat, it’s only available to you if you purchase a coin pack, which creates an obstacle.

As for usability, my experience with SpinBlitz was glitchy. Major buttons didn’t load, and I was logged out frequently. Unfortunately, it made what should have been a smooth experience rather frustrating.

If you want to sign up at SpinBlitz, I recommend proceeding with caution. It’s a casino with a lot going for it, but you might find it frustrating if the site is glitchy and you can’t access support in time.

State differences

SpinBlitz is available in 36 states, with the restricted states including Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New York, Washington, and West Virginia.

Players in Florida can redeem a maximum of $5,000 per spin or per play round. In all other states, the maximum redemption value is $10,000 per day.

How does SpinBlitz casino work?

SpinBlitz has two virtual coins available: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweepstakes Coins (SC). You can use both of these to play games at the sweeps casino, but they function differently.

GC are used to play games to win more GC. You can’t redeem them for a prize or exchange them for cash, but you can purchase more GC in coin packs if you want to. You can also win them from giveaways, tournaments, or through daily login bonuses.

SC can also be used to play games to win more SC They can be won in giveaways, tournaments, and via the daily login bonuses, and you can also write a mail-in request for more. Once you have enough SC, they can be redeemed for a gift card or cash prize.

Bonuses and loyalty at SpinBlitz

Newcomers at SpinBlitz are given 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC after signing up. This doesn’t require verification, and you can get started with playing games right away.

After that, players will benefit from the progressive daily login bonus systems, which award different GC and SC values every time the player logs in. Here’s what’s awarded:

  • Day 1: 1,500 GC and 0.20 SC
  • Day 2: 2,000 GC and 0.25 SC
  • Day 3: 1,250 GC and 0.35 SC
  • Day 4: 750 GC and 0.20 SC
  • Day 5: 500 GC and 0.25 SC
  • Day 6: 700 GC and 0.35 SC
  • Day 7: 800 GC and 0.25 SC

SpinBlitz also has a refer-a-friend bonus. This can award players up to 100,000 GC and 50 SC, on two conditions. The first 20,000 GC and 10 SC will be awarded once your friend makes a purchase of $20 with a verified account. The remaining 80,000 GC and 40 SC will be awarded once your friend makes additional purchases worth $500 or more.

SpinBlitz also hosts competitions and virtual coin giveaways on its social media, for the chance to win additional coins. It also has frequent seasonal tournaments, along with its regular Jackpot Play and in-house Blitz Jackpot. With Blitz Jackpot, there’s the hourly jackpot, which awards 10,000 GC, the daily jackpot, which awards 200,000 GC, and finally the Blitz Jackpot.

The latter awards 100,000,000 GC to the community. 50% of the winnings go to the winner, and the remaining 50% is shared equally among 100 randomly selected players. With Jackpot Play, there’s the Minor, Major, Mega, and Grand jackpots that could drop at any time when playing Pragmatic Play games.

When it comes to purchase packs, there are plenty to choose from, but the Mega 1st Purchase Offer stands out. With this, players can buy 50,000 GC with 10 free SC for just $9.99.

Bonus rating

74/100 Low-value sign-up bonus, but engaging promos
  •  Different kinds of jackpots
  • Friend referral
  • Only 2.5 SC given with sign-up bonus
  • No VIP club

The amount of SC given with the sign-up bonus is a letdown. Just 2.5 SC isn’t much, and even the 7,500 GC that comes with it isn’t the best either. To compare, SweepNext awards new players 30,000 GC, and Cazino awards 20 SC with its sign-up bonus.

Of course, the daily login bonus is great and many players look out for these as it’s a chance to get more coins for free every day. The issue here is that this is a progressive login bonus, and the amounts don’t increase at all, but they’re actually random.

I also felt it was strange that on the third day, you’ll earn your highest log-in bonus of the entire week, and every value after that isn’t even close. The bonus on day seven should be the biggest one, but it’s just 800 GC and 0.25 SC.

The refer-a-friend promo is always cool, but this one comes with some high conditions that won’t be easy to meet, so it could be a while, if ever, till you receive your 100,000 GC and 50 SC.

The rest of what SpinBlitz has to offer is pretty good. The various jackpots are good and give players something to work for, while also creating a sense of community. The seasonal tournaments are something for players to look out for, too, since they bring in something fresh every once in a while.

What’s missing is a VIP club. This could offer players additional perks and ways to win coins, while also providing a challenge of trying to get to the next level.

Games available at SpinBlitz

There are 1,531 games available at SpinBlitz. This includes a combination of slots, live games, jackpots, and scratch cards. There are 1,484 slots, taking up the largest share of the game library. 120 of those are Hold and Win games, and another 54 are Megaways. SpinBlitz has a Feature filter with 150 games, and the scratch cards filter has 23 games.

SpinBlitz doesn’t have any original games, but it does have GC-exclusive games. These six games are provided by Pragmatic Play. There are also a few other exclusive games from providers like Playson and BGaming. Under the Jackpot Play filter, there are 18 games from Pragmatic Play.

The Unlimited Play section has four games that players can play for just one GC per spin. Across the rest of the sweeps casino, the minimum and maximum spins vary per game, with some having a minimum of five GC, 75 GC, or even 200 GC.

Games rating

88/100 Impressive variety with 1,531 games available
  • 1,531 games
  • 16 live games
  • No table games
  • RTPs aren’t listed

1,531 games at a sweeps casino is one of the highest I’ve seen around. To compare, industry leader Stake.us has 1,188 slots, and Chumba has just over 200. It also has great variety, so while the main portion of those games is slots, it also includes Megaways, slots with features, Hold and Wins, and even smaller games like Plinko and Mines.

The crowning feature is the live games. 16 games is a big plus, especially when they’re all high-quality and available 24/7. Spree only has five live casino games, in comparison. The inclusion of exclusive games is cool too, and the Unlimited Play section gives players the freedom to still enjoy their gaming sessions but without spending more than two GC per spin.

A nice detail is the transparency around gaming specs. Whenever you click on a game, the minimum and maximum spins are displayed, along with the volatility. These are super important details to know before starting a game. It would have been even better if SpinBlitz had included the RTP in these specs.

The only thing I feel is lacking, apart from table games, is poker. There isn’t even a live dealer poker game available, and for poker fans, this will be a tough one. If you’re an avid poker player and don’t care for slots, I’d suggest you try Global Poker instead.

Software providers for SpinBlitz

SpinBlitz works with 34 game providers. Among these are well-known providers like BetSoft, Pragmatic Play, BGaming, and Spinomenal. Pragmatic Play has 471, which is the highest number of games from all the providers. Rubyplay is second, with 103 games.

98/100 Key providers on a long list of names
  • 3 live games providers
  • No download required
  • No bespoke software

SpinBlitz has 34 providers contributing to its vast game library, and in the world of sweeps, this isn’t common. Even Stake.us only has 24 providers. This earns SpinBlitz big points in this area, and we can see the results in the quality of the games offered.

It makes up for not having any bespoke software, especially when there are so many key providers on the list, like Pragmatic Play and Habanero.

There aren’t any table games, but the live dealer section is taken care of by three providers, which is impressive. ICONIC21 is the main provider here, and it’s known for its high-quality streams.

Payment methods accepted at SpinBlitz

SpinBlitz accepts VISA, Mastercard, and Discover cards for purchases and redemptions. The redemption methods available are gift cards and cash prizes. Gift cards have a minimum SC requirement of 10 SC, and cash prizes have a minimum of 75 SC.

All SC must be played through at least once before a redemption can be requested. Players also need to have completed verification before they’re allowed to request a redemption. It takes 3–5 days to process a cash prize, while gift cards are emailed instantly.

Payments rating

78/100 Simple but slow redemptions
  • $1.99 minimum purchase
  •  10 SC minimum for gift cards
  • No e-wallets or cryptocurrencies accepted
  • 3–5 days to process cash prizes

Overall, SpinBlitz does a good job with payments. There aren’t a lot of purchasing methods, but VISA, Mastercard, and Discover are popular cards. When it comes to redemptions, gift cards and cash prizes are classic.

10 SC as a minimum for gift cards is great, although the 75 SC for cash prizes could be lower. Another issue with the cash prizes is that it takes 3–5 days to process the redemption. This is on the slow side. Mega Bonanza’s average redemption time is 1–2 days.

Unfortunately, cryptocurrencies aren’t offered at SpinBlitz. If you like what SpinBlitz has to offer in terms of payments, but prefer to use crypto, you’ll be happy using PlayFame. It’s a sister sweeps casino and so has an almost identical offering, with the addition of six cryptocurrencies.

Is SpinBlitz safe?

SpinBlitz uses 256-bit encryption with ECDSA technology, designed to keep you and your data safe. After completing registration, your account needs to go through verification. This is part of SpinBlitz’s security measures and is required to make redemptions.

To verify your account, you need to submit a government ID, such as your ID card, passport, or driving license, and proof of address. For proof of address, you’ll need a utility bill, phone bill, or a bank statement that’s less than 90 days old. You’ll also need to provide a selfie with your government ID. These documents need to be submitted through the verification page.

On SpinBlitz’s dedicated RG page, you’ll find information on how to play safely and how to recognize problematic gaming behavior. The sweeps casino has also included links to external sources that offer professional guidance, including Smart Mobile Gamers, NPR, and Gaming Addicts Anonymous.

For RG tools, SpinBlitz has two available. These are GC limits and self-exclusion. GC limits can be set on a daily basis to control how much is spent on GC packages. Self-exclusion comes with two options: take a break or self-exclusion.

Take a break is available for seven, 14, or 30 days and will limit your access to your account. Once the period is over, you can re-enter your SpinBlitz account. With self-exclusion, you’re able to take a longer break. This is available for a minimum of six months, and can go on for as long as required. Self-exclusion completely limits your access to your SpinBlitz account until the period is over.

Setting up RG tools is done by reaching out to customer support via the contact form. During a self-exclusion period, your account is inactive, and your virtual coins will be reinstated once you’re able to access your account again.

Safety rating

75/100 SpinBlitz keeps things standard when it comes to safety
  • RG tools available
  •  ECDSA 256-bit encryption
  • Need support to use RG tools
  • Calls itself a social casino

SpinBlitz has it covered from the technical side. I appreciate seeing ECDSA 256-bit encryption, as this is a step up from RSA, which most casinos have.

It’s safeguarding its players, but I was disappointed not to find any references to its games being provably fair or that they undergo RNG auditing. With the selection of top providers that SpinBlitz works with, however, you can be sure that these games are audited regularly.

SpinBlitz’s approach to RG is standard too, and I was glad to see there are two tools available. I’d love to see more, as all casinos should offer the full range, but the two tools available are good options to have.

I do have an issue with the contact form being the only way to set up any RG tools. With a response time of five hours or more, it means you won’t get immediate access to the tools you need.
Another point I can’t turn away from is SpinBlitz identifying as a social casino. As there are SC available, which can be earned and redeemed, SpinBlitz is technically a sweeps casino.

Before signing up, there aren’t any references to SC, and a lot of material is available to non-members, who will register for what they believe is a social casino. The lack of transparency here is an issue, as it’s misleading.

Reaching out to support at SpinBlitz

There are four ways to reach out to support at SpinBlitz: contact form, live chat, phone number, and the FAQs page in the Help Center. The contact form requires you to input your name and account ID, followed by selecting your topic from a drop-down menu. You can write your query in the text box and upload attachments if you need to.

SpinBlitz’s phone number is written in the footer. Players can call +1 (424) 842-4652 for guidance with US payment-related queries 24/7.

As a first port of call, the FAQs section contains questions and answers on live casino, account, purchases, verification, technical concerns, social gaming, and promotions. To use the 24/7 live chat feature, players need to unlock it by purchasing a coin package.

Support rating

76/100 24/7 support if you pay for it
  • 24/7 support
  • Good FAQs section
  • Support information not organized
  • Paid live chat

SpinBlitz’s customer support comes with some conditions. While having four ways of reaching out to support, especially 24/7 live chat, earns this sweeps casino big points, I think SpinBlitz can handle it better.

To start with, the live chat feature needs to be unlocked via a GC pack purchase. This is what I mean by conditional support. Support should be readily available, but this feels like gatekeeping.

It would also be much more beneficial if all the contact details for support were in one place. The only way to get SpinBlitz’s email is if you’ve already contacted them using the form and they answer your query via email. PlayFame, a sister sweeps casino, at least had the contact email in the terms and conditions.

When it comes down to it, you only really have the contact form to reach out for help. The FAQs are decent, but they won’t help you with everything.

I did test out the contact form, and it took the agent five hours to get back to me. For a basic question, that’s too long, and even more so if you’ve got something more serious to ask. The agent gave me helpful information and was polite, but the response took too long, considering it was all I had available.

If speedy customer support is what you’re after in a sweeps casino, I recommend SpeedSweeps. Its live chat is available 24/7, even to non-members, and the agents are helpful and fast.

The usability of SpinBlitz’s platform

SpinBlitz has a straightforward navigation style, with different game filters at the top of the lobby and in the sidebar menu. These filters include game type like Megaways, and Hold and Win, but there are also filters like Classic, Popular, Feature, and Cascading Reels.

The sidebar menu also has links to other main pages like promos, transaction history, and the Help Center. There are also buttons to request redemptions, get coins, and to access your profile. If you need to go directly to the source, there’s a search bar at the top of the site. It’s a simple search bar that will help you find games and providers.

SpinBlitz homepage on two mobile devices

SpinBlitz has a cool indigo and sky blue theme, with some mild imagery that uses classic slots characters, like Zeus. There are some pink accents used for buttons, like ‘Get Coins’.

Overall, SpinBlitz functions well, but I did experience some glitches that made using the site a bit difficult. For instance, the ‘Redeem’ button was often still loading, and only after refreshing the page once or twice was I able to load the button and press it. SpinBlitz also frequently logged me out when I navigated to different pages.

To play on mobile, there isn’t a dedicated app for iOS or Android, but you can install SpinBlitz’s web app with a shortcut. This offers a similar experience to the desktop version, with no compromise on what matters most: games and virtual coins.

Usability rating

75/100 Cool design, UX needs work
  • Web app
  • Simple navigation
  • Support information badly organized
  • Glitchy experience

SpinBlitz has decent navigation, so I found getting around simple. It’s got a clean design, nice to look at, and the side bar menu is your North Star.

But the site’s severe glitches almost overshadowed this easy navigation experience. The redeem button almost never loaded, which is a problem if you want to make a redemption; if I wanted to purchase GC packs, the different options sometimes didn’t load either. And I was logged out a lot, which meant wasting time signing back in.

It’s issues like these that make a sweeps casino experience a bit of a letdown, especially when everything is so cleanly laid out.
One other issue I had with SpinBlitz’s site was the way its support information is displayed. None of it can be found together in one place, and it would be really beneficial and much more streamlined if the help center contained all the relevant links, buttons, or details.

Otherwise, most of the sweeps casino is well-laid-out, especially the game lobby, which has a good range of filters so you can search for popular games by type or feature.
