For this Zula Casino review, I went back through Zula from scratch to see what’s actually changed. I checked the bonuses, games, payments, redemptions and support, and there’s quite a bit here that wasn’t part of the old Zula experience

Expert verdict
Zula Casino impressed me a lot more this time around. It has changed quite a bit since my last review, and most of those changes have made it a much better sweeps casino. And it was already pretty great!
The game selection is much bigger, the promos are still strong, and Zula has clearly put work into giving players even more to come back for. I also had no issues using it on desktop or mobile, and even with all the updates, everything is still easy to find and use.
There are still a few things I’d like to see improved, but none of them are a huge deal. The payment selection could be better, and the live casino is still pretty small, but neither would stop me from playing here.

Zula Casino is available in several US states.
It is not available in: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
Zula Casino offers the same games in all the states it is available in. For Florida residents, the maximum redemption value of a Zula Casino prize won on any single spin or single play is 4,900 Sweeps Coins.
New York residents are restricted to only GC play, with no SC or redemptions being available.
How does Zula Casino work?
Zula Casino has two types of currency available: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). Both currencies can be earned through promos, won through gameplay, or bought through payment packages.
GC has no value outside of Zula Casino’s site, and can only be used as an entry fee for the casino’s games. GC cannot be used outside of Zula Casino.
SC can be used to access “Promotional Play,” where players use SC to enter the casino’s games. Any SC they win back can then be redeemed for cash prizes, at a value of one SC to one dollar. You need a minimum of 50 SC in your account balance before you can make any redemptions.
Zula Casino bonuses: up to 120,000 GC and 10 SC
Zula Casino gives new players a no-purchase welcome package of up to 120,000 GC + 10 SC, with no bonus code needed. The full amount is split across a few actions:
- Registration gives 20,000 GC + 2 SC
- Phone verification adds 30,000 GC + 3 SC
- Email consent adds 20,000 GC + 2 SC
- SMS consent adds another 20,000 GC + 2 SC
- The daily login adds 10,000 GC + 1 SC
- Connecting Facebook and Google adds another 10,000 GC each
Returning players can claim 10,000 GC + 1 SC every day, and Zula also runs regular tournaments and shorter game-specific promos. The current Route 66 Monthly tournament has a 715 million GC + 10,900 SC prize pool, with players collecting Miles from eligible games and using daily boosts of 5%, 10% or 30%.
Spin Master promos work on a smaller scale; the Desert Scarabs PrizeTower event, for example, has a 50 million GC + 500 SC prize pool split between ten winners. Zula also runs Bonus Bonanza, Turbo Tournament, multiplier and category-based competitions during the month.
Free spins are available as well, although some of these are cross-promotions for Zula’s sister brands, including YAY Casino, American Luck, Luck Party, and WinBonanza.

Friends who sign up through your referral link get a 15% bonus on their first purchase, while you receive 20,000 GC + 2 SC for each of your first 10 referrals, even if they don’t make a purchase. There’s also a Purchase Match, which gives you 50% of the base value of an eligible purchase, up to $30 equivalent, with up to ten Purchase Match bonuses per week.
Zula’s seven-tier VIP program now runs on VIP Points. You earn 10 points for every $1 spent, 1 point for every 1 SC played and 1 point for every 1,000,000 GC played. Bronze starts at 0 points, followed by Silver at 100, Gold at 10,000, Platinum at 20,000, Diamond I at 100,000, Diamond II at 1 million and Diamond III at 5 million.
Higher tiers add things like exclusive offers, monthly and weekly bonuses, birthday bonuses, weekly rakeback, a dedicated VIP host and custom perks. VIP levels are updated daily, excluding weekends and holidays.

Zula Casino absolutely still throws free SC promos at you, but there’s much more to them now. The daily is still there, the welcome bonus now goes up to 10 SC, and there are cool tournaments, game promos, referral rewards and VIP bonuses. There are so many, I don’t even remember them all at this point.
Stake.us is one of the few sweeps casinos I’d put next to Zula for promos. It also runs a lot of regular offers, but Zula gives you more different ways to pick up extras, especially with things like Route 66 and Spin Master mixed in with the daily rewards.
The two complaints I had before don’t really apply anymore. Free spins are available now, although most of the current ones are for Zula’s sister brands, and the VIP program is no longer based only on purchases. The only thing I’m not a fan of is that 4 of the 10 welcome SC are tied to email and SMS marketing consent. Again, not the end of the world, and actually makes sense business-wise.

Zula has more than 2,500 games from 70+ providers. Slots make up most of the casino, with separate sections for jackpots, fish games, instant games, Megaways and classic games. There are also Hot, New and Route 66 categories for featured games and current promotions.
The slot selection covers classic three-reel games, modern video slots, Hold and Win games, Megaways and progressive jackpots. Zula also has 12 Zula Exclusives and 12 Megaways games. Jackpot games have their own section, with four progressive SC prize pools: Fortune, Grand, Super and Mini.

The fish section includes titles from JILI, KA Gaming, Edge Labs and other providers, while Instant has Keno, Candy Land Keno, several Plinko games, Bingo Star, Chicken Run, Chicken Shot and Zula Tower Rush. Poker-style games are limited, with games including Joker Poker Aces, Jacks or Better and Dragon Gate Poker.
Zula also has six live casino games from Iconic21: Live Roulette, Grand Bonus Blackjack, Gravity Auto Roulette, Lite Roulette, Virtual Dragon Tiger and Royal Roulette. Four are roulette games, alongside one blackjack game and Virtual Dragon Tiger.
Games can be played with GC or SC. There’s no separate demo mode, so Gold Coin play is the free-play option. Zula doesn’t publish one average RTP for the full game library.

Zula was already huge for games when I first reviewed it, and it’s grown from 1,700+ to more than 2,500. There’s a full fish section now, plus jackpots, Megaways, instant games, poker and Zula exclusives, so you’re not just scrolling through slot after slot after slot.
There’s also a live casino now, though to me, McLuck still does it better. Zula has six live games and four of them are roulette, so that part is pretty limited. Last time, though, Zula had no live games at all, so this is still a big improvement.
That’s the only real gap for me. Yep, that’s it. The main casino has thousands of games and a much wider mix than most sweeps casinos, especially once you get into the fish and instant sections.
Zula Casino software: 70+ providers
Zula Casino has 71 software providers, up from 23 in my old review. NetEnt, Booming Games, Habanero, Relax Gaming and Evoplay are still there, alongside names such as Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, BGaming, JILI and Kalamba Games. RubyPlay has the biggest presence in the current lobby, with 141 games.

Honestly, there’s nothing missing. I’m strict when it comes to studios, and I literally have nothing here to be strict about. 71 providers is ridiculous, especially when you’ve got NetEnt, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, Nolimit City, Yggdrasil, Habanero and Booming Games all in the same place.
The numbers get a bit silly when you dig into them. RubyPlay has 141 games at Zula by itself. Then you’ve got JILI and KA Gaming covering a lot of the fish games, Iconic21 doing live casino, and Zula’s Homemade games mixed in too. It’s hard to find a part of the casino that’s relying on the same handful of studios.
The one thing I wanted Zula to add before was a live provider, and guess what? They did. ICONIC21 isn’t a huge live lineup with six games, but that complaint is gone now. I could ask for a second live studio, sure, but with 71 providers already here, so that would be me looking for something to complain about.

Before a redemption is paid, Zula may ask you to verify your identity and payment details. Verification normally takes 3-7 business days once all requested documents have been submitted. Additional checks can apply when a single redemption, or your cumulative redemptions, goes above $2,000.
Zula can also require a redemption to use the same payment method used for a Gold Coin purchase. Florida has an additional 4,900 SC limit on prizes from a single spin or play.
There is no standard Zula transaction fee. Bank fees, currency conversion charges and taxes can still apply depending on the payment method and the player.

This is still one of the few parts of Zula that disappoints me. Three purchase methods? Come on. Visa, Mastercard and Skrill cover the basics, but that’s about it. Where’s Amex? Apple Pay? Google Pay? Trustly? WOW Vegas has all of those, on top of Visa, Mastercard and Skrill.
Bank redemptions help, and the 50 SC minimum is reasonable. But the purchase side is still not it, especially now that almost every other part of Zula has grown so much.
Zula really doesn’t need to do anything complicated here. Add a few more card, wallet and banking options and there wouldn’t be much left for me to complain about. Oh, and I almost forgot, consider adding crypto, too!

Zula is pretty solid on safety. PCI DSS validation is in place, verification is taken seriously, and you’ve got time-outs and self-exclusion if you need them. I like that. It covers the big stuff.
I’m less impressed by the lack of limits. I’d much rather be able to cap purchases or play before needing to take a full time-out. Golden Hearts Games gives players purchase limits, so this isn’t some unrealistic extra I’m asking for, right?
2FA would be nice too. I’m not going to hammer Zula for missing it because lots of sweeps casinos don’t have it, but add 2FA and a few proper limiters and I’d have very little left to complain about.
Zula’s 24/7 customer support
Zula offers support through email, a ticketing system and its Knowledge Base. You can submit a support request through the Help Center or contact the team at [email protected]. There’s no customer support phone number.

Zula also uses an AI chatbot for general support questions. Live chat is referenced in Zula’s support information, but a dedicated human live-chat service and its operating hours aren’t specified.

Support at Zula is better than it used to be, but I’m still not completely sold. You can email [email protected] directly now, the ticket system is still there, and the Knowledge Base is huge. So at least one of my old complaints is gone.
The Help Center is probably still the best thing here. There’s a ridiculous amount in it, from verification and payments to account problems and redemptions, and you can also go to their blog and see some useful stuff there, too.
You can also attach files to support tickets, which I really like. If something has gone wrong with a payment or game, sending a screenshot is much easier than trying to explain the problem in, like, six paragraphs. There’s an AI chatbot too, although I’d still have a proper live agent when something needs sorting quickly.
That’s what keeps me from getting too excited here. No phone support. Zula clearly has the support setup behind the scenes. I just want more ways to actually reach it.
Usability of Zula Casino’s platform
Zula works on desktop and mobile browsers, and there are also Android and iOS apps. The mobile version gives access to the same games, promotions, purchases and daily rewards as the desktop version.

There’s still very little to complain about with Zula’s platform. The game menu is easy to get around, the search works well, and filtering by provider is genuinely useful when there are 71 studios and more than 2,500 games to deal with.
And the one thing I complained about last time is gone. Zula now has iOS and Android apps, so you can use the browser version or install the app and be done with it. I’m planning on never deleting it from my phone, actually.
My only real nitpick is the filters. Zula used to let you narrow games down by things like features and themes, while the current setup focuses more on category and provider. With a library this big, I’d actually like those extra filters back.
That’s a pretty small complaint, though. Zula is fast, easy to navigate, and somehow adding another thousand or so games hasn’t made it annoying to use.
