Expert verdict

Lucky Bunny offers players a great sweeps experience. It’s got a great design and gives players access to thousands of games along with enticing achievements and promotions.

What’s strong at Lucky Bunny is its generous welcome bonus. 550,000 GC and 5 SC is more than the average welcome bonus, followed by a progressive daily wheel spin that scales with your VIP rank. As for games, 6,000+ is a promising library. It offers a super variety of slots, table games, arcade games, and so much more. I just wish there were more available in the live games section.

Email support is a weak spot. After close to a week, I still hadn’t heard back from email support, which was disappointing. The payment options are also a letdown. Bank cards and Apple Pay are fine, but more e-wallets would make a difference. As for redemptions, it’s just bank transfers, which is a standard but slower option.

All in all, Lucky Bunny has curated a great sweeps casino offering that would suit all kinds of players. For veteran players though, I will say that if you look for more oomph in the VIP program and in the providers list, this might not be for you.

State differences

Lucky Bunny is available in 33 states, with these states restricted: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

How does Lucky Bunny work?

Lucky Bunny offers two virtual coins, Fun Coins (FC) and Sweeps Coins (SC).

At other sweeps casinos, FC are often known as Gold Coins. These coins are used to play games at Lucky Bunny but can’t be redeemed for prizes. They can be purchased and are awarded as part of promotions such as the welcome bonus and the refer-a-friend program.

SCs, on the other hand, can’t be bought. They’re included as a freebie in the FC purchase packs and also come with promotions. When you have a minimum of 100 SC, you can redeem them for a cash prize. All SCs need to be played through the casino at least once.

Bonuses and loyalty at Lucky Bunny

Newcomers to Lucky Bunny can claim a no purchase welcome bonus of 550,000 FC and 5 SC. The bonus isn’t awarded as soon as you register, but instead you’ll need to head to the Achievements page and claim the first part. The second and third can only be claimed once you verify your email and then your government ID card. This is the bonus breakdown:

  • Welcome reward: 100,000 FC and 1 SC
  • Email confirmation: 150,000 FC and 1 SC
  • Government ID verification: 300,000 FC and 3 SC

From day 2, you’ll be able to start claiming the login streak achievement bonus from the Achievements page. The full streak is 30 days, and the login bonus increases in stages:

  • Days 2-10: 1,500 FC and 0.15 SC daily
  • Days 11-19 : 2,500 FC and 0.25 SC daily
  • Day 20 : 2,499 FC and 0.25 SC
  • Days 21-30 : 5,000 FC and 0.5 SC daily

With a 30-day streak, players can claim up to 88,499 FC and 8.85 SC.

There’s also a daily wheel spin which is available every 12.5 hours. Players can spin the wheel for the chance to win a bonus amount of FC or SC everyday. The starting bonus ranges are 100,000 FC-400,000 FC or 1-5 SC, though these scale far further as you climb the VIP ranks.

The Achievements page has other bonuses that you can claim, by completing tasks that award XP. The remaining rewards are connected to Lucky Bunny’s Tiers Program, awarding you with an SC bonus when you reach a new level.

The Tiers Program has 12 tiers, and all players start on the High School tier. This tier awards 1% cashback on casino net losses. Once you reach the required 99XP by playing at the casino, you can move up to the Ivy League Tier. The cashback percentage is increased to 2% and from this point on, all the levels also come with a shop discount. The final tier is The Legacy, which awards 12% cashback and a 15% shop discount.

With the friend referral program, by using your unique referral link, you can get 20 SC for every friend who joins Lucky Bunny. Tournaments aren’t offered at this time.

Bonus rating

86/100 Starting out strong
  • Great welcome bonus
  • Progressive daily streak bonus
  • No FC with friend referral
  • Limited SC with daily streak bonus

Lucky Bunny’s welcome bonus of 550,000 FC and 5 SC is great, and one of the highest I’ve come across. Anything more than 2 SC is actually pretty unusual. SweepSpot, for example, awards 10,000 GC and 2 SC. A sweeps casino that does it better, though, is Fortune Wins, which awards 1,000 FC (equivalent to 100 SC) for signing up and completing your first week quests.

The rest of the promotions at Lucky Bunny were good too. I liked the approach of a daily streak achievement. It’s another way of awarding a daily login bonus, and this one comes with pretty good awards if you’re consistent, although the daily SC amounts are small. You’ll have almost 9 SC by the end of it, though.

As for the Tiers Program, while it’s well-structured there’s not too much else going on. You get a level bonus, increased cashback (which is up to a maximum of 12%) and a shop discount. There’s no mention of other exclusive bonuses or features based on your tier.

Games available at Lucky Bunny

Lucky Bunny has 6,000+ games. This collection consists of slots, table games, live games, fish tables, arcade games, scratch cards, and game shows.

The Social Games section contains a mixture of slots and arcade games. Over 5,000 of these are slots, including 26 Megaways games and 36 Hold and Win games. The section also contains 146 arcade games, including Mines and Darts, 77 crash games, 27 Plinko games, 129 scratch cards and one Bingo game.

In the Table Games section there are 278 RNG table games, with 53 roulette games, 33 blackjack games, 12 baccarat games, plus options for dice, Hi Lo, Sic Bo, and card games. There are 85 poker games, which include Video Poker options, too. Lotto fans will find four options, like Speed Lotto and Mania Lotto. As for Virtual Keno, there are 33 games currently available.

The Live Social Games section has 42 games. You’ll find nine live roulette tables, 12 live blackjack tables, five live baccarat tables, and two live poker tables. Alongside these, there’s one Keno game, two Sic Bo games, and five Card and dice games.

There are just six game shows, or as Lucky Bunny calls them, “Show Games”. This includes titles like Crash Live, Gravity Wheel, and Lucky 6. Lucky Bunny doesn’t currently have any exclusive or branded games available.

Games rating

96/100 Impressive game variety
  • 6,000+ games
  • Strong game variety
  • Limited game shows
  • Room for more live games

6,000+ games for a sweeps casino is impressive. Most have over 1,000, like BigPirate which has 1,600+ games. However, there aren’t that many live games here, just 42 while BigPirate has 90+.

The overall variety at Lucky Bunny is great. There’s slots, table games, Keno, lotto, scratch cards, Bingo. There’s almost everything, just not quite enough live games to make a splash when you see the total number of games. To its credit though, Lucky Bunny has live dealer tables for every popular game, including live poker which isn’t commonly found at sweeps casinos.

The game shows are limited too, with just six. I hope to see more live games and game shows added in the future, as that will really take Lucky Bunny’s game library to the next level.

Software providers for Lucky Bunny

Lucky Bunny works with 35 software providers, which include names like Hacksaw Gaming, KA Gaming, Habanero, and BGaming.

The live games are provided by TVBet and ICONIC21, while the fish tables are provided by industry leader KA Gaming along with NetGame, SpadeGaming, and Rogue Games.

The provider with the largest share of the game library is Inbet Games, a smaller name in the industry with 1,420 games. It’s followed closely by KA Gaming with 987 games. After that, it’s Hacksaw Gaming with 319 games. Lucky Bunny doesn’t have any bespoke software.

Software rating

90/100 Some big names among a sea of small providers
  • 35 software providers
  • Works with 3 key providers
  • Lots of small providers listed
  • Missing providers like 3Oaks Gaming

35 software providers is a strong number and I was glad to find some big names on there like Hacksaw Gaming and Habanero. Plus, ICONIC21 is a great live games provider.

There are some providers that I was hoping to see that aren’t there, like 3Oaks and NetEnt. These are highly popular among sweeps casinos, particularly 3Oaks Gaming as it provides a large chunk of the popular Hold and Win slots.

Instead, there are a lot of smaller providers, like Inbet Games. It’s great to have a mixture of big and small providers, so long as enough of the bigger providers are present.

Payment methods accepted at Lucky Bunny

For purchases at Lucky Bunny, you can use bank cards and Apple Pay. The bank card options include VISA and Mastercard. For redemptions, you can only use online bank transfers. To gain access to redemptions, you’ll need to complete your KYC first.

You can make a maximum of three redemption requests per day, and the maximum transaction amount is $2,000. Your cash prize is awarded within five days after processing is complete, and the minimum redemption amount is 100 SC. You also need to play those SCs through the casino at least once.

There are nine coin packages in Lucky Bunny’s store. The offers rotate frequently, though generally the minimum spend is $9.99, while the highest is $999.99.

Payments rating

79/100 Basic payment options, decent coin packages
  • Good value coin packages
  • Standard payment options
  • Limited e-wallets and no cryptocurrency
  • $9.99 minimum spend

The coin packages are good value for money when you look at the cost to SC ratio. They’re quite on par with most sweeps casinos, with many of Lucky Bunny’s packages running at discounted rates, and you’ll get discounts as you increase your Tier level.

However, $9.99 is a high minimum spend. Typically, sweeps casinos have one or even two smaller packages that cost $1.99 or $4.99. Spending almost $10 for the basic coin package is high.

As for payments, the options are decent but basic. Classic bank cards are the standard, and I was glad to see at least Apple Pay is an option for purchases. Unfortunately, there aren’t any other e-wallets available yet and no cryptocurrencies either. Compare that to SweepsRoyal, which accepts 10 different payment options including crypto.

Is Lucky Bunny safe?

Lucky Bunny is owned by Optivara LLC, a company registered in Wilmington, Delaware. Its website is encrypted with 256-bit encryption with ECDSA technology. 2FA is available and can be switched on via the settings of your account. RNGs are mentioned in Lucky Bunny’s About Us section, guaranteeing that the games provided are based on a fair model that’s audited by third parties.

The RG page introduces the importance of safe gaming habits, explaining that Lucky Bunny’s Responsible Social Gameplay (RSG) Program is built on transparency, player empowerment, and harm prevention. Lucky Bunny recommends that players who are receiving treatment for addiction, are under the influence, are facing financial difficulties or a significant life event, or even mental health concerns, should not use the online casino platform.

There are five RG tools available. These can all be accessed by opening your profile settings and switching to the Limits tab.

To set limits on your account, press “+ Add New Limit” and choose if you’re adding a purchase, loss, or wager limit from the drop-down menu. After that, enter the amount of SC you want to serve as your limit, and choose if this is a daily, weekly, or monthly limit from the next drop down menu.

When you need a break from using the casino, you can take a cooling-off period. This prevents the player from accessing their account balance and any bonuses. It’s available for a minimum of one day, up to a maximum of six months. The length of time is chosen from a drop-down menu in the limit settings section.

For a longer break, self-exclusion is also available. Like a cooling-off period, you choose the length of time from the drop down menu, starting with a minimum of one day, lasting up to five years or even forever. This prevents you from logging into your account. You can also choose to permanently close your account, which is done by contacting customer support.

A self-assessment questionnaire is available via a link provided by Lucky Bunny, which leads to Mind Diagnostics. Lucky Bunny and Optivara also monitor player activity to look out for behavior that can indicate concern or a gambling issue.

Towards the end of the RG page, Lucky Bunny lists some tips to help keep gaming sessions light and enjoyable. It also lists GAA, OLGA, and Game Quitters as professional resources you can contact if you need assistance.

Safety rating

95/100 Detailed RG page and accessible tools
  • Dedicated RG page
  • Five RG tools
  • 2FA available
  • Lack of clarity around bonus terms

There’s very little to fault here because when it comes to safety and security, Lucky Bunny takes it seriously. It loses points for a lack of clarity when it comes to certain bonus terms, but otherwise, we’ve got a high level of encryption, plus the option to switch on 2FA for additional security. I also liked that RNGs are mentioned upfront in the About Us section, rather than being buried in the FAQs.

As for the RG page, in a word, it’s great. It’s detailed, it lists external resources, there’s a self-assessment link. It also dedicates space to explaining the RG tools, which can be easily set up by players via their account settings.

Although the RG page doesn’t give certain parameters, like how long self-exclusion lasts, this information can all be found within the RG tool settings. As for the tools, you’ve got purchase, wager, and loss limits, which are not commonly found together at sweeps casinos, plus, you can take a cooling-off period or even use the self-exclusion tool.

Reaching out to support at Lucky Bunny

Customer support is available at Lucky Bunny via email, the ticketing system, and the live chat widget. The email address is [email protected]. During my time testing the casino, I didn’t receive a response from email support, even after six days.

The live chat, however, got back to me within 5 minutes, making it the go to method. The responses I got from the support agent were clear and direct. The ticketing system can be found via the FAQs page.

There’s a link at the bottom to contact support, which takes you to the ticketing page. Here you can add your subject, message, and any necessary files. Like email support, the ticketing system took long to answer.

The FAQs page covers accounts, free benefits, games, security, RG, VIP, the referral program, and achievements. Each section has around three to five questions, covering the essentials with decent answers.

Support & community rating

86/100 Reliable live chat, unreliable email support
  • 24/7 live chat
  • Good FAQs
  • No phone support
  • No response from email support

If you need support, you can rest easy knowing the live chat support team will be around to help you. They were good and efficient, unlike email support. Over a week later and still no response.

I was disappointed, but live chat would be my first resort anyway. The lack of response from email support is only a major concern if you’re using it to ask about RG and self-exclusion, in which case, time is of the essence.

The FAQs are useful since they cover essential questions for so many areas, so be sure to check those out before contacting support. Phone support isn’t available, and while I feel that live chat support is more than sufficient, if you prefer to receive support on the phone, I’d suggest trying Stake.us.

The usability of Lucky Bunny’s platform

Navigation at Lucky Bunny is super simple, thanks to its welcoming, clean design. The side bar menu has shortcuts for the wheel, cashback tiers, refer a friend, achievements, and then live games, social games, table games, and the providers. There’s also a button for the coin packages.

At the top of the site, there’s your current FC and SC amounts, another button for the coin packages, and the rewards button which shows you which rewards you can claim. In the footer, there’s the Ts and Cs, the sweepstake rules, FAQs, RG page, and other key pages.

The game library is organized well, with a search bar and a drop down menu to filter through different game categories. You can search for games according to their provider, rating, or type, such as fruit slots, progressive slots, crash games, Plinko, and so on. This applies to live games and table games, too.

Usability rating

96/100 Comfortable user journey with clean navigation
  • Mobile friendly
  • Easy navigation
  • Filters for different game categories
  • No casino app

Lucky Bunny really nailed it from a usability perspective. While it’s pretty standard these days to find a sweeps casino with clean navigation and a handy sidebar menu, having extra game categories that you can filter through, isn’t. So I was thrilled to find the games library so easy to navigate. And with 6,000+ games, it needs to be.

The search bar is great and a must have, but being able to break down my search according to provider, game type, and even rating, is just next level. I also loved that it’s consistent between slots, live games, and table games.

There are some parts of the sweeps casino that are a little confusing, like how you can see the Tiers program via the “Cashback Tiers” shortcut, making it feel like less of a loyalty/VIP program. Other than that, things are pretty straightforward.
