Expert verdict
My experience with Betr sweepstakes was a mixed bag. Starting with the positives, the app’s minimalist design made navigation feel effortless. The shared wallet system was also a nice touch, allowing players to use funds across both its sportsbook and sweepstakes platform without any issues.
However, the app lacks a strong sweepstakes identity. For me, this means having a generous welcome offer backed up by daily login rewards that give players a reason to keep coming back. Betr sweepstakes doesn’t offer anything like that.
In comparison, platforms like Rich Sweeps and Crown Coins do this really well. The former offers new users 50,000 GC and 1 SC upon registration, while the latter features a daily rewards system that gradually increases in value throughout the week.
Daily login rewards and a first-purchase offer are available on Betr’s sportsbook arm, however this feels more like a workaround and adds an unnecessary hurdle for players, especially for those who aren’t too interested in sports.
Elsewhere, having a diverse and varied game selection is also key to a strong sweepstakes identity. While sweeps platforms like Stake.us offer well over 1,000 titles, the market average hovers closer to 300. With this in mind, Betr’s library of fewer than 50 games was a massive letdown.
To end on a more positive note, the range of responsible gaming tools is really well done. Overall, Betr shows promise but it just feels like an unfinished project without a clear sense of direction or identity.
State differences
As confirmed by customer support, Betr sweepstakes casino is available in 29 jurisdictions across the US. This includes 28 states as well as the nation’s capital of Washington D.C.

How Betr casino works
To access Betr casino, the sweepstakes app is available for download on both iOS and Android devices. After creating an account, you’re free to explore its list of slots, crash titles, and table games.
You can also choose to play for fun using Gold Coins (GC) or if you wish to redeem prizes, you’ll need to switch to Sweepstakes Coins (SC). GC can be purchased or earned through gameplay. SC are typically awarded as a bonus alongside GC purchases or through ongoing promotions.
Betr bonuses
While Betr did run a pre-registration promo prior to its launch, this has since been removed and there are currently no welcome or sign-up offers available on its sweepstakes arm. You also won’t find any referral program or login rewards here.
However, Betr’s social sportsbook is home to several offers, and any rewards earned there can be used on its sweepstakes platform. This is thanks to its shared wallet system, which enables players to use funds across the platform’s different verticals.
One of the main offers on its sportsbook side is the first-purchase promo that rewards players with a 25% bonus in Sweepstakes Coins. For instance, buying a GC bundle worth $49.99 would earn you $62.50 worth in Sweepstakes Coins, also known as Betr Cash. The minimum purchase requirement stands at $9.99.
Bear in mind that, while an article from the platform’s Help Center stated that this promo expired on March 31, 2026, I have since confirmed with customer support that the offer is still valid if you have not previously made any purchases.
Elsewhere, for the latest updates, seasonal giveaways, and promotions related to its sweepstakes platform, your best bet is to follow Betr on its official social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). Alternatively, you can also check the promotions tab on the main website.

As is required by sweepstakes casinos, Betr offers a mail-in bonus. This allows players to receive up to 3 SC with no purchase requirements. All you need to do is send a handwritten request to the following address:
Betr Social, LLC
Attn: Sweepstakes Administrator
290 NE 68th Street
Miami, FL 33138
Players can submit a maximum of 30 separate mail-in requests per month. The letter needs to follow the template below:
“Sweepstakes Entry I wish to receive Sweeps Cash to participate in the [Insert Month Of Sweepstakes Contest] Sweepstakes Contest offered by Betr. By submitting this request, I hereby declare that I have read, understood and agree to be bound by Betr Terms and these Official Rules.”
Bonus rating
55/100 Lacks strong sweepstakes identity
- Shared wallet adds flexibility
- Up to 30 mail-in requests per month
- No dedicated sweepstakes welcome offer
- No daily login rewards for sweep players
Slim pickings is an understatement. Aside from the lack of transparency, the absence of dedicated welcome offers or daily rewards for sweep players is hugely disappointing.
In my opinion, more effort should have gone into creating promotions specifically designed for sweepstakes players. Instead, Betr leans heavily on its shared wallet system, allowing players to use funds earned from its sportsbook on the sweeps platform.
I will say that its shared wallet system is a clever feature but it’s no substitute for dedicated sweepstakes promos. For comparison, Zula Casino is a sweepstakes platform that awards new signees with 100,000 GC and 10 SC with no purchase required.
Betr games
Betr sweepstakes casino is home to a little over 40 games. However, pinning down the exact number is not currently possible as Betr’s support confirmed the platform is adding new titles and deactivating others on a regular basis.
For instance, Betr’s support confirmed that a live casino game was removed due to bugs and might be added again soon. However, as of writing this, there are currently no live games available.

The majority of its games consist of slot entries, alongside a handful of instant-win titles with crash mechanics. There are also a total of 10 confirmed table games for you to choose from, which consist of variants of staples like blackjack, roulette, baccarat. This includes American Roulette and Blackjack Multihand by Gaming Corps.
Its limited slot collection leans heavily toward modern titles with colorful themes and branded elements. Examples include Snoop Dogg Dollars, Elvis Frog, and Armadillos by BGaming and Wanted: Dead or a Wild by Hacksaw Gaming. You’ll also find titles based on mythology such as Vulcan’s Gold and Thor Power Coins.
Games rating
66/100 Some strong titles, but lacks depth
- Innovative slot entries
- Includes table games
- Less than 50 titles
- No live casino games
There is no way to sugarcoat this. The severe lack of games available at Betr sweepstakes is a huge disappointment. Not only does this impact overall variety, but the fact that Betr has removed a game due to software bugs is another concern of mine, especially so soon after the platform’s launch. It shows a lack of foresight.
Platforms like WOW Vegas and Jumbo 88 really pin home this lack of depth. Home to 37 and 24 software developers respectively, that’s nearly as many providers as Betr has in total games.
That said, I always try to highlight any positives and I will say that there are at least some promising signs. The inclusion of 10 table games shows an attempt to add some much needed variety, and its slot collection, although limited, features some very solid entries.
Betr sweepstakes casino software developers
A significant portion of Betr’s slot library comes from BGaming, an established and respected developer in the iGaming space. There is also at least one confirmed title from Hacksaw Gaming, a studio well known for its high-volatility slots and engaging themes.
The rest of Betr’s catalog features a mix of smaller, independent studios like Fantasma Games and Powerderkeg Studios. Operating under the larger SlotMatrix, Armadillo Studios is another name you can expect to find amongst Betr’s gaming library.

When it comes to table games, titles are supplied by Gaming Corps, an independent Swedish studio founded back in 2014. At present, there is no indication that Betr sweepstakes provides any bespoke, in-house software or custom games.
Software rating
63/100 Lacking in quantity and quality
- Includes Hacksaw Gaming
- Mix of independent studios
- Lacks top-tier developers
- Only six confirmed providers
Given the small games library, it stands to reason that Betr’s pool of available software providers is also quite limited. While not unexpected, it’s still disappointing to see and doesn’t excuse it in my book.
Platforms like DimeSweeps really highlight this gap in depth. Launched in November 2025, DimeSweeps is already home to over 30 software providers that include big names like Nolimit City, Evolution, and ICONIC21.
To end on a more positive note, the inclusion of BGaming in Betr’s portfolio is a step in the right direction and I also appreciated the inclusion of smaller studios. Plus, the addition of Hacksaw Gaming is another positive sign and suggests Betr is beginning to diversify its portfolio.
Betr sweepstakes casino payment methods
Betr’s sweepstakes app is home to five confirmed payment methods that can be used for making purchases and redemptions. This includes PayPal, online bank transfers, debit cards via Visa and Mastercard, and Venmo with linked bank accounts.
To add funds to the sweepstakes platform, you will need to make a minimum purchase of at least $9.99. When it comes to maximum purchase limits, this information is not available to non-registered users.

| Maximum purchase | Unclear |
| Average purchase time | Instant |

| Average prize-redemption time | 72hr+ |
As per the Sweepstakes Official Rules page on the Betr website, the maximum redemption limit is capped at $5,000 per month. The minimum redemption amount is not publicly available.
While there is no official standard for processing times, Betr advises that you allow up to 10 calendar days for redemptions to be completed. For a smoother experience, Betr recommends using the same payment method for both purchases and redemptions, with PayPal often considered the fastest option.
Payments rating
56/100 Solid methods, but lacks transparency and variety
- Supports PayPal
- Includes Venmo-linked bank transfers
- Poor transparency on limits and redemptions
- Up to 10-day redemption process
There are a few solid options here, with online bank transfers, Venmo, and long-established e-wallets like PayPal all available. However, with no alternatives like Skrill or Trustly, the lack of range and variety is hard to ignore.
Barring any promotional offers, the $9.99 minimum purchase requirement is okay I guess but also not great, especially when you see similar platforms like Jackpota set theirs to just $1.99.
I also wasn’t impressed with Betr’s transparency, or lack thereof. Unless you physically download the app and start playing, vital information that should be readily available like maximum purchase limits and minimum redemptions amounts were nowhere to be found. I am not saying the system doesn’t work, but it needs some big updates.
Security and responsible play at Betr
Betr uses ECDSA signatures to verify transactions and ensure they haven’t been tampered with. It is also equipped with 256-bit encryption, which keeps sensitive data safe from unauthorized access.
When it comes to responsible play, Betr provides users with access to support services such as the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). This includes its 24/7 confidential helpline available across all 50 states, as well as text and live chat support options.
Furthermore, the Betr app is also equipped with built-in self-service tools that allow players to better manage their playing time and purchasing habits. Once logged in, simply go to the Account/Wallet section, scroll down, and select ‘Gaming limits’.
From here, users have a number of protection measures to choose from, including ‘Play limits’. This gives users the power to set daily, weekly, or monthly caps on their playing time.

A ‘Timeout’ option is also available, and gives you the option to restrict access to your account for a set period of time ranging from three days up to one year. For longer breaks, the ‘Self exclusion’ option acts as a more wide scale ban from Betr’s verticals, ranging from one to five years. A lifetime ban is also available.
It’s important to note that once the above tools have been implemented, they cannot be reversed until the selected period of time has passed.
Elsewhere, Betr also comes with reality checks, where every 15 minutes, a notification appears to help you keep tabs on your playing time and how much you have spent on purchases.
Finally, the platform also takes age verification seriously, requiring users to be at least 18 years old and complete identity checks when creating and verifying their account.
Safety rating
78/100 Reliable safety tools, but lacks purchase limits
- Accessible self-service tools
- Modern ECDSA encryption standards
- No option to set purchase limits
- Basic responsible gaming page
For a sweepstakes platform, I was actually quite happy with what Betr has to offer in terms of responsible gaming tools. Features like play limits, timeouts, and self-exclusion are all very accessible and easy to implement. However, the absence of purchasing limits was a bit of a letdown for me.
On the technical side, I appreciated the use of ECDSA signatures instead of older, more outdated RSA encryption. And, while 256-bit security is not the highest, with others it still does the job it needs to do and falls within industry standards.
I will say that the automated reality checks, while they can be seen as annoying, are a strong addition. Generally speaking, other platforms SweepJungle tend to offer this feature as a self-service tool.
Betr customer support
There is a 24/7 live chat option available, but only for registered users who have downloaded the app and created an account. Alternatively, non-registered users can still reach out via email at [email protected].
Response times through live chat are generally quite quick and often come through within a couple minutes. Email support is also fairly responsive, with most replies arriving within 10 minutes, though some responses can take up to several hours depending on the nature of the query.

In terms of quality, responses were generally helpful overall, although did tend to vary depending on the agent, with some less supportive than others. Depending on the agent and length of exchanges, responses also varied from casual replies to more formal responses. Regardless, most queries were handled effectively.
While there is no phone or text support available, Betr does offer a Help Center with a wide range of articles organized into several topics covering different issues such as payments, account queries, and promotions. There’s also a search bar at the top of the page that will enable you to put in key words related to your query.
Support & community rating
82/100 Fast, helpful support with minor access issues
- 10-minute email response times
- Generally helpful responses
- No live chat for non-registered users
- Response quality depends on agent
For the most part, I found Betr’s support service to be very reliable and efficient, with just a few limitations that prevent it from scoring higher. Firstly, the lack of live chat access for non-registered users is a noticeable drawback. There are plenty of sweepstakes platforms, like Sweeps Royal, that offer live chat support to guests and visitors.
That issue aside, I was pretty impressed with the response times at Betr. I also liked how agents adapted their tone depending on the conversation. For simple questions, responses were quick and to the point, while more detailed answers were given as and when needed.
It wasn’t always perfect and there were some inconsistencies in tone and helpfulness between agents, most queries were handled effectively. I strongly believe that adding an AI chat bot for non-registered users would make things more accessible.
Betr mobile app usability
After downloading the app on your Android or Apple smartphone, you’ll be instructed to create an account by inserting basic details such as your full name, email, password, and address. This will be followed by location and identity verification checks.
Betr also offers limited desktop access via a link referenced on its Help Center that then requires you to scan a QR code. However, this appears to be restricted to its Picks platform, and it is not clear whether this will give you access to its sweepstakes arm.

The sweepstakes app features a minimalist design, combining a mostly dark interface with Betr’s signature purple color scheme. The default home page acts as an explore section, highlighting the platform’s most popular titles, along with new and exclusive releases.

Usability rating
80/100 Intuitive design with limited filtering options
- Includes search bar
- Simple and intuitive design
- Basic filtering options
- Mobile-only platform
The fact that the sweepstakes platform is only available via a mobile app does make it less accessible to some players. That said, I think Betr has done a good job of creating an intuitive app design, keeping things simple without overcomplicating the layout.
Despite the relatively small game library, I liked how they added a search bar and that titles are still sorted by type. If the library continues to grow as planned, the app would benefit from more in-depth filtering options, like the ones seen at Spree.com, which allow you to sort games by theme and mechanics.
Elsewhere, navigation across the app is also pretty straightforward, with key functions such as setting limits, choosing payment methods, and making purchases all found within account settings.
