Expert verdict
I like Dragon Phoenix. I’d recommend it, and I can see myself coming back to it. The game selection helped a lot with that. There are 500+ games, but more importantly, it didn’t take me long to find stuff I wanted to play right away. 3 Oaks and Playson are always good to see, I liked the fish games, and some of the 155 titles are a little weird in a way I enjoyed.
The promos are ok too, although I don’t think they’re the main reason to play here. I liked having things to claim after signup instead of getting one welcome offer and then basically nothing. The loyalty program could become a good extra as well, once they clean the page up a bit.
And they really do need to clean a few things up. “[Program Name]” and “[Tier 1]” being left on the loyalty page is sloppy, and the FAQ has that weird “This Casino” wording still hanging around. None of that made me want to leave, though. Dragon Phoenix already has enough going for it that I’m happy to recommend it, even if you can still see where the edges need smoothing out.

Once I’d gone through the promo page, there wasn’t much there that surprised me. The daily 0.2 SC is tiny, Happy Hour is easy enough to miss, and the welcome deal is okay. Amazon Jackpots gives 65 SC plus an Infinity Wheel spin for $20 on its first purchase, so Dragon Phoenix isn’t especially strong here, either.
The loyalty rewards look better once you get further in, especially 50 SC at Silver and 100 SC at Gold. I still couldn’t tell from the account how much spending those levels take, which makes those numbers hard to judge, I’m afraid.
I’d claim the reloads when they line up with a purchase and leave it at that. The promos do their job, but I wouldn’t pick Dragon Phoenix because of them.

Mad Hit Mr Coin was an easy slot pick, but King Octopus is probably what I’d open first next time. I played Ocean Star Hunting and KA Fish Party too, then messed around with Scratch Dice, Plinko, and Virtual Golf for a while. There’s enough here that I wasn’t just cycling through slots.
I probably spent the most time with the fish games, my personal favorite. There are 27 of them and I already found a few I’d go back to. I was sort of looking for blackjack and roulette, though, and that’s where the library feels a bit unfinished to me. They’re such standard games that I expected them to be there, to be honest. Oh well.
I still wouldn’t add more slots just to close that gap. Blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and a proper live section would do a lot more for the game selection. Dragon Phoenix, take notes please!

30 studios is more than enough for 500+ games, and I’m happy with the lineup. Playson and 3 Oaks were easy picks for me, then I played lots of Print Studios, Fantasma, Revolver, Slotmill, and 155 too. There’s enough range here that I never felt like I was seeing the same few studios over and over and over.
I recently played Lucky Hands, which has 24 providers and four original fish shooters. I still prefer Dragon Phoenix’s wider lineup overall, but I would like it to have one or two games that are actually its own. That’s really the only thing I’m missing on the software side.
I wouldn’t add more providers right now. I’d rather see Dragon Phoenix make an original fish game first, especially since fish is already one of the stronger game categories here. If they get that right, the software lineup will be in very good shape.

I’m fine with the payment setup here. Apple Pay and Google Pay are convenient, purchases hit the account straight away, and there are no Dragon Phoenix fees to work around. The 100 SC cashout minimum is a minus. Look at Global Poker, which starts cash redemptions at 50 SC. I prefer that when I’m new somewhere because I can try the whole payment process with less in the account.
With Dragon Phoenix, the $19.99 welcome package gives 50 SC, so I’m not getting that first cashout done immediately. That’s a little annoying, but not enough for me to avoid buying here. Once I’d redeemed successfully the first time, I wouldn’t think much about it again.
I’d also give the payout some room. The FAQ talks about 24 to 48 hours for the review, but the rules allow longer for the actual payment, and then your bank can add time too. So if it takes a few days, I’m not panicking. For me, this is a good payment setup with a higher first hurdle than I’d like.

I’m comfortable with Dragon Phoenix from a safety point of view. The responsible-play controls are good too. If I put a spending limit on the account, I can’t raise it later, only lower it, and self-exclusion starts at six months. That’s actually a stricter setup than I expected from a newer sweeps casino.
Where I’d like them to catch up is login security. Lucky Hands has Google Authenticator, while Dragon Phoenix still doesn’t offer a proper 2FA. With ID checks, redemptions, and an SC balance tied to the account, I’d definitely turn it on if they added it.
That’s really my main complaint here. The verification process looks normal for a sweepstakes casino, payments are handled through a third party, and I’m happy with the controls they’ve built in. I’d call Dragon Phoenix safe to use.

I’m fine with the support setup. Dragon Phoenix lets you use chat without buying anything first, which I prefer to McLuck making live chat available only after a GC purchase. If I’m new to a casino and have a question, I shouldn’t have to spend first just to ask it.
There’s no phone line, and I can see that bothering players who like talking to someone when money or a redemption is involved. Dragon Phoenix also never says how long email usually takes, so that could be a lot more specific. Still, chat is there, the FAQ covers most of the usual stuff, and there are enough ways to get help that I’m happy with the 84. The FAQ copy needs a cleanup, though.

I got around Dragon Phoenix easily. I used the RTP, volatility, and provider filters a lot, especially once I moved past the featured games and started digging through the full lobby. Pulsz is very good at handling a big game library too, and Dragon Phoenix is close to that level for me. I like Pulsz very much, so it’s only a plus for me.
The account area is straightforward as well. Transaction history and login attempts are easy to find, and I never had that moment where I knew something existed but couldn’t remember which menu they’d buried it under. You’d be surprised how often that happens with lots of other sweeps casinos.
