After that, most of the ongoing promotions are tied to purchases. The Happy Hour boosts run on several days of the week, but they’re only useful if you’re already planning to buy. Generally, there aren’t many ways to earn free GC or SC. There’s no referral bonus, no daily missions, no social media giveaways, and even the daily bonus is on the lower side compared to sites like Gold Machine or Sheesh.

The Free Refill is a good idea, and I used it, but it didn’t feel very impactful. I burned through the 100 GC pretty fast, and since you can only claim it once your balance drops below 99 GC, it doesn’t add much to your gaming experience. 

The Hall of Fame loyalty program also felt underwhelming. It’s not very clear what you actually get as you move up the levels. Compared to loyalty programs at Playtana, where rewards are clearly laid out, this one feels vague, which doesn’t really encourage progression.

GameDayZone’s library is very much on the smaller side when you look at the numbers. With just over 270 titles, it doesn’t compete well with most of the sweepstakes market. At competitors like Playtana and Sweet Sweeps, you’ll find over 1,000 games, while even newer platforms often launch with over 500 titles like Coinz.

Where it does make up ground is variety. There’s a surprisingly wide mix of game types for a collection of this size. Along with slots, you’ll also find sports games, keno, fishing games, scratch cards, and crash games. Some sweepstakes casinos, such as Spindoo and Spinfinite, focus solely on slot gaming. I enjoyed being able to break up slot sessions with different styles of gameplay, especially the sports games, which aren’t something you see everywhere at sweepstakes casinos.

On the redemption side, the 1x playthrough requirement is a plus. Some sites increase this, such as the 2x at Sweet Sweeps and the 3x at Sheesh Casino. The 100 SC minimum for a cash prize is standard, but I was surprised to see the same minimum applied to gift cards. Most competitors require only 50 SC or lower for a gift card, such as at Big Shot Games or Coinz.

I wasn’t very impressed with the usability at GameDayZone. First off, the site feels outdated. The layout itself also feels a bit all over the place. Your coin balance and coin store are shown on the left-hand side, but then they’re also displayed again at the top of the page.
