Expert verdict
Stormrush struck me as a great choice for a sweeps casino. There was a lot that the sweeps casino did really well, but there are some areas that I couldn’t ignore.
The bonuses and promos are the most attractive factor at Stormrush. What I appreciated the most about it is that there are options for both paying and non-paying players, meaning there’s room for all players to enjoy the bonuses. The daily login bonus is good and awards 2 SC, but the Thunder Wheel, with its two modes, is the site’s true standout feature.
Stormrush has 1,170+ games available, which sounds incredible, but it’s not what it sounds like. True, having over 1,170 games is a lot in sweeps casino terms, but Stormrush only has slots and some fish tables available. If that’s your jam, you’ll do great at Stormrush, but if you’re looking for live games or table games, keep walking.
When it comes to safety, Stormrush has invested in 256-bit SSL security, which is a big plus, and you’ll find four RG tools available. You can also contact support at any time, and they’ll respond almost instantly.
The sweeps casino lacks a dedicated RG page, a sweepstakes information page, or even a page explaining redemptions. In my book, these are critical pages that provide players with much-needed insight into how things work.
Overall, you’re in for a good time at Stormrush, especially if you’re a slots fan. It’s a great way to get comfortable with how sweepstakes works, with several free SC bonuses to go with it.
State differences
Stormrush is available in 37 states. It’s restricted in Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Michigan, Nevada, Connecticut, Delaware, Montana, West Virginia, New York, Louisiana, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.
How does Stormrush casino work?
Stormrush has two virtual coins: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). You can play in either Gold Coins Mode or Sweeps Coins Mode, which has different outcomes.
GCs are free tokens. You can use them to play for fun at the casino to win further GCs. They’re awarded in bonuses and giveaways, but if you want to, you can purchase more GCs in coin packs.
Sweeps Coins Mode is unlocked when you purchase GCs for the first time. You can’t use SCs in Gold Coins Mode and you can’t purchase additional SCs either. They’re often included as a freebie in GC coin packs, or can be claimed in bonuses and giveaways.
When you’ve reached the minimum of 100 SC, you can redeem them for a sweeps cash payout at a rate of 1 SC to $1. With 25 SC, you can claim a gift card redemption.
Bonuses and loyalty at Stormrush
Newcomers at Stormrush get 500,000 GC for signing up. Once you’re in, you get an additional 250,000 GC and 1 SC for verifying your email, for a total of 750,000 GC and 1 SC.
The Daily Charger is Stormrush’s progressive daily login bonus system. This is available after you’ve completed your profile. The bonuses are available to claim over a period of seven days, but the system resets if you miss a day. At the end of the week, you’ll have 200,000 GC, 2 SC, and 10 free plays. This is the breakdown:
- Day 1: 10,000 GC + 0.10 SC
- Day 2: 20,000 GC + 0.20 SC
- Day 3: 30,000 GC + 0.30 SC
- Day 4: 40,000 GC + 0.40 SC
- Day 5: 50,000 GC + 0.50 SC
- Day 6: 50,000 GC + 0.50 SC
- Day 7: 10 Free Plays
After that, there’s the daily wheel spin on the Thunder Wheel. This has two versions: the free green wheel, and the gold wheel which is unlocked with a payment of $19.99. The green wheel can be spun twice a day.
You can get anywhere between 1-5 SC and 60,000-250,000 GC when spinning the green wheel. On my two attempts, I won 150,000 GC and 100,000 GC. With the gold wheel, you can win up to 25 SC and up to two million GC.

Stormrush has an exclusive first purchase pack, called the Energy Pack that’s available across multiple purchases. It awards a total of up to 7,000K GC and 325 SC. The first three purchases are:
- First purchase: 100% bonus with up to 1,050K GC + 70 SC
- Second purchase: 60% bonus with up to 1,500K GC + 75 SC
- Third purchase: 75% bonus with up to 1,500K GC + 75 SC
When you select the first purchase as your welcome offer, there’s two options to choose from: pay $19.99 for a 100% bonus of 750,000 GC and 40 free SC, or pay $34.99 for 1,050K GC and 70 free SC. The first option typically costs $40 and the second is worth $70.
If you’re looking for other ways to claim free coins, Stormrush has a friend referral bonus. Invite your friends using your unique referral link to receive 500,000 GC and 20 SC. They’ll also get 400,000 GC and 5 SC. You both get your bonuses on the condition that they make total purchases of at least $20.
There’s also the Coin Battery Charger promo. By playing popular games, you’ll charge the battery and fill up the bar with every win. When you do so, you’ll be awarded extra SC along the way. The minimum amount of SC that can be given is 5 SC, but the bar goes up to 50 SC. This bonus is only available in Sweeps Coins mode.
Stormrush has a sweeps VIP program that every player is automatically made part of. Players start on Level 1 and can progress to Level 10. Perks include exclusive promotions, a birthday gift, and a VIP manager. Each level also comes with an increased weekly reward percentage.
Players can also request additional SCs by mail using the AMOE. Each request awards 1 SC. You can make a request every day, however, it’s only awarded to players who have an no SC in their account.
Bonus rating
- 2 daily login bonuses
- 10-tier VIP program
- 3 purchase promos
- No slot tournaments
Considering all the bonuses available, that 1 SC in the sign-up bonus is both disappointing and also one of the only failings of the bonuses section. There also aren’t any slot tournaments, but there are so many other bonuses to keep you interested.
I liked that the sign-up bonus is split into two parts. You pretty much get everything at once, but the resulting GC bonus is plenty. The 1 SC is not, however.
Stormrush has a very similar offering to Scarlet Sands, except nearly everything is higher value. For example, Scarlet Sands awards 350,000 GC and 1 SC, while Stormrush awards 750,000 GC and still 1 SC.
You can claim quite a few daily bonuses, so you can start to increase your coins from your first day. The daily login bonus awards a full 2 SC at the end of it, although it only awards 0.10 SC on the first day. The Thunder Wheel is what really stuck in my mind though, with the potential to win 5 SC twice a day.
There’s a great deal of stuff to play with, including the VIP program and the friend referral bonus.
There’s also the AMOE which can be claimed daily, but only if your balance is at 0. To me, this is a harsh condition as it’s unlikely your balance will ever be at 0. It means never claiming any of the daily login bonuses, which are much easier to claim, just so you can write in for 1 SC.
Games available at Stormrush
Stormrush has 1,170+ games available. These are all slots, with themes like sweets, animals, fishing, Ancient Greeks, history, and Irish leprechauns all covered. There are also nine shooters under the fishing filter.

Games rating
- 47 Hold and Wins
- 9 fish shooters
- No live or table games
- No exclusive games
1,170+ is a great number when it comes to games at a sweeps casino. Plenty of sweeps casinos have less than 1,000 games, like LuckyStake, which has 820+.
That being said, like with Scarlet Sands, having over 1,000 games and no variety is a let down. I was expecting to find plenty of slots, but also at least a handful of table games and live games. At the very least, some mini games.
Lucky Stake has 23 live games, so it performs better than Stormrush when it comes to game variety, even if it has fewer games.
The choice of games available is good, at least. There are Rapid Link games, Megaways, and Hold and Wins, which add some punch to the standard slot format. I also can’t forget that there are some fish shooters too. These mix things up a little with their vibrant colors and quirkiness
Software providers for Stormrush
Stormrush works with 17 software providers. This includes TaDaGaming, BGaming, BetSoft, Booming Games, and Kalamba. NetGame brings the largest share of games to the sweeps casino, with 157 games. BGaming is second in line, with 134 games.

Software rating
- 17 providers
- No need to download
- No bespoke software
- Lacking key providers
The list of providers at Stormrush is good. Many of them are known names, like TaDaGaming, BGaming, and BetSoft.
Admittedly, there are some key names that I was expecting to find that aren’t listed, like 3Oaks Gaming and Hacksaw Gaming. They’re popular providers that many players look out for at sweeps casinos, because of the games they offer and the quality of those games.
There also isn’t a live software provider, which is a limiting factor here. Several sweeps casinos work with providers like ICONIC21 and Playtech to provide live casino games.
Payment methods accepted at Stormrush
To make purchases at Stormrush, you can use VISA and Mastercard debit and credit cards, plus PayPal and Apple Pay.
Redemptions are only available once players have completed their profile and have verified their account by making their first purchase. There are four options for redemptions: gift card, PayPal, Push-to-Card, and CashApp. All the redemption options, except for gift cards, are used for cash prize redemptions.

Redemptions can take up to 24 hours to be processed by Stormrush, followed by additional processing time by the payment provider. Gift cards can take an additional 24 hours, while Push-to-Card payments can take up to three business days. PayPal can take up to seven business days, and CashApp up to five.
The minimum redemption amount for gift cards is 25 SC, while all other redemption methods have a minimum of 100 SC. All SC must be played through the sweeps casino at least once before making a redemption request.
Stormrush has 13 coin packages available to purchase. The cheapest option costs $4.99 and credits your account with 50,000 GC and 5 free SC. For sweeps high-rollers, you can spend $499.99 and get 5,000K GC and 500 free SC.
Payments rating
- 4 redemption options
- E-wallets for purchases and redemptions
- 100 SC redemption minimum
- No ACH redemptions
Stormrush has the standard payment options covered, although I was pleased to see you could use e-wallets for both purchases and redemptions, as this isn’t a given at every sweeps casino.
What surprised me is that ACH bank transfers aren’t available at all. Bank transfers are pretty much a given at sweeps casinos, particularly for redemptions, and Stormrush doesn’t offer them at all.
That being said, all the redemption options available are faster and more efficient than bank transfers, so players aren’t necessarily worse off, but it’s still one option less.
With four redemption options, players should find it quite comfortable. Three of the options are for cash prizes, although Cash App is linked to VISA, which is available in the Push-to-Card method.
Gift cards are available at a minimum of 25 SC, which is reasonably accessible. There are sweeps casinos that do them for less, such as Hello Millions which has a minimum of just 10 SC.
The 25 SC isn’t the part of redemptions that I have a problem with, though. It’s the 100 SC minimum for cash prize redemptions. This is high. Hello Millions does it for 50 SC, which is much easier to achieve.
Is Stormrush safe?
Stormrush is owned and operated by A1 Development LLC, registered in Wyoming. The sweeps casino has 256-bit encryption with ECDSA technology. You can secure your account further by setting up two-factor authentication via your account settings.
There’s no mention of RNGs or fairness, but Stormrush works with reputable software providers, so their games will use audited RNGs.
Stormrush doesn’t have a dedicated RG page, but you can find the RG tools and information about how they work via your account settings.

There are four RG tools available. These are reality checks, purchase limits, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion. Reality checks range from a minimum of 10 minutes up to a maximum of 120 minutes. These reminders pop up when you’ve hit the designated amount and give you the choice to stop or keep going.
Purchase limits are set on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to restrict how much you can spend at Stormrush to stay in control. When you need a break, you can use a cool-off period, which can be set up for one day, five days, 15 days, or 30 days. During this time, your gameplay will be on pause.
For a more permanent break, players can use self-exclusion to suspend their account for the set time period. This starts at a minimum of six months, and it can run for 60 months or indefinitely. During this time, gameplay, purchases, and redemptions aren’t accessible.
Stormrush doesn’t mention any external RG sources for professional help.
Safety rating
- 4 RG tools available
- 256-bit SSL encryption
- 2FA available
- No dedicated RG page
Stormrush has an identical security and safety offering to Scarlet Sands. While that means it has all the positive factors, it also means it’s inherited all the negative aspects, too.
Security-wise, Stormrush does well. 256-bit SSL encryption is always great to see, and being able to add 2FA is nice to have, too. RNG could be mentioned, but isn’t, which is a shame. However, Stormrush works with reputable software providers, which will work with audited RNGs.
When it comes to RG, this is a mixed bag. So we’ve got four RG tools, which is great. On top of that, it’s very easy to set these tools up. You don’t need to wait for support to do it for you, you can go right in and do it via your account settings.
Plus, they’re all good tools. Reminders are beneficial, and taking a break, whether it’s to cool off or more permanently, is essential. Purchase limits are important and I was glad to see them. They can really help players control their spend. Admittedly, Stormrush could have included wager limits, too, since they’re another way to stay in control of spending.
So there’s all this great stuff, but there isn’t a dedicated RG page with further information. Stormrush doesn’t explain the importance of playing safely, or provide any tips for how to play within your means. There’s information on how to use the tools, but I still feel like this area is lacking something.
There also aren’t any external resources listed, which means players won’t know where they can go when they want to seek professional help or guidance.
SpeedSweeps, for instance, lists Gaming Addicts Anonymous, the Financial Counseling Association of America, and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. To be honest, at least two of these are listed on the RG page of every sweeps casino, so Stormrush is falling short in this regard.
Reaching out to support at Stormrush
Stormrush’s support team is available via email and live chat, where support is available 24/7. There isn’t a ticketing systerm or phone number, and there aren’t FAQs either.

Whenever I tested the live chat, I never waited longer than two minutes to be put through to a human agent. The agents are knowledgeable and friendly, and provided clarity on any queries I had.
The email support also had a fast response time. Email support agents take an average of 25 minutes to answer, and always provide detailed responses. You can reach out to email support on [email protected].
Support rating
- 24/7 live chat support
- Fast and detailed responses
- No phone support
- No FAQs
Although there isn’t an FAQs page or phone support, Stormrush performs strongly when it comes to its support offering. The biggest factor here is that support is fast. On the live chat, I never waited for longer than two minutes, and I was always satisfied with the support I got.
What’s great is that the level of support is consistent. When I was testing out the email support, the response times I had were similar, and even the responses were on par with live chat support. Plus, 25 minutes for email support is pretty decent.
What’s missing is an FAQs page. This would cover a lot of the basic questions that players have, which they’ll often look at before going to the live chat for support. It likely means the live chat has a lot of players asking basic questions, since they can’t get those basic answers elsewhere.
The usability of Stormrush’s platform
Stormrush has a cool look, with a black background and plenty of green lightning bolts. Its navigation is what stands out, as I found getting around quite easy, mostly thanks to the sidebar menu.

It has shortcuts for the pages you’ll most frequently come back to, particularly the bonuses. There are also some of the game categories listed, and a shortcut to support.
The game lobby has filters for the main game types and a few other categories like Top Games, New Games, Fishing, and Rapid Link. There aren’t filters for Megaways or Hold and Wins, but you’ll find them by scrolling through the lobby. There’s also a search bar so that you can search for a game by name or provider.

Stormrush is missing some key pages that I typically look out for. For instance, a sweepstakes information page, information on redemptions, and a dedicated RG page. An FAQs page is also missing.
When it comes to mobile use, Stormrush adapts well to smaller screens. There isn’t a dedicated app, so you’ll have to play in mobile browser, which works fine.
Usability rating
- Clean design
- User-friendly navigation
- Essential pages missing
- Limited game filters
I really like how Stormrush looks. To me, it stands out in the crowd of all blue-themed sweepstakes websites. It’s got edge, it’s got character, and it manages to maintain that while also having pretty intuitive UX features.
Which is why it’s disappointing that cartain key pages are missing. It shouldn’t be necessary for me to go to customer support to ask basic questions or to gather information about how redemptions work at all. There should be dedicated pages ready when I need them.
There’s a general lack of clarity around payment methods, too. The support team will tell you everything, but I typically look out for the logos of the available payment options in the footer. When you go into purchases, there are some, but not all of them, listed in the pop-up box.
As for finding games, the search bar is your friend. There are some decent game filters, but there can always be more. When the number of games surpasses 1,000, you need to bring in a few more filters to make the process as streamlined as possible.
