SweepShark casino review
Following the same recipe, the casino balances a sizable free redemption offer right from signing up, unique team events you can play for bigger prizes, and 1,100+ slots from 13 providers.
But this is just scratching the surface. Keep reading to find out if SweepShark is truly worth your time in terms of retention offers, prize redemption times, or even game variety.

Expert verdict
I see a lot of common points between SweepShark and its predecessor JackPotRabbit – from color scheme and game selection to the no-purchase welcome offer of 200,000 GC + 3 SC.
My favorite parts at SweepShark are The Shark League – a daily event where you team up with other members to play and win bigger rewards than the individual events – and their hefty referral bonus of up to 500,000 GC + 20 SC per qualifying friend.
SweepShark casino stands out with a clever ocean-inspired branding. While navigating, you’ll stumble upon scratch cards that could reveal lucky shells with Sweeps Coin prizes, or you’ll battle it out in tournaments with names like Reef Rumble or Tide Wars.
Now compared to bigger players on the sweeps market, there’s plenty SweepShark can still improve, particularly to the game base. Besides their 1,100+ slots, megaways, jackpots or 16 fish games, it would be nice to see RNG tables or arcade games, or even a live casino section. Furthermore, their VIP program has been under construction for months, surprised to still see that section of the site locked.
State differences
You can create an account and play at SweepShark from 37 US states, as long as you are over 18 years old.
According to the casino’s terms and conditions, you cannot access the site if you are from: Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Michigan, Nevada, Connecticut, Delaware, Montana, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, or Rhode Island.
How SweepShark casino works
SweepShark casino works in two ways, depending on the currency you decide to play with: Gold Coins Mode and Sweeps Coins Mode. You will always play for free with Gold Coins (GC) that you can collect by completing various daily activities on the site.
You also have the option to purchase additional Gold Coins. When you do, the casino rewards you with Sweeps Coins (SC) completely free.
The SC in Sweeps Coin Mode are the ones you can play and eventually redeem for gift cards or real money, once you play the SC amount you received, at least once.
If you want to avoid making any purchases, you can get 1 SC daily by mailing a handwritten request by post, with a few specific instructions including your social security number or your SweepShark player ID.
SweepShark casino bonuses you can claim right now
You can claim an up to 200,000 GC + 3 SC no purchase reward when you register and verify your account at SweepShark casino. Here’s how you’ll get it:
- 125,000 GC + 1 SC at sign-up.
- 10,000 GC + 1 SC for verifying your email.
- 15,000 GC for filling in your name, date of birth, and zip code.
- 25,000 GC + 1 SC for verifying your phone number.
- 25,000 GC + 1 SC for verifying your ID.
Verification of your account also unlocks the Free Play Challenge where you can win extra plays daily, at selected slots. At level one, you get 15 Free Plays at Money Hive: Hold’n’Link.

Daily logins bring you free rewards on two fronts:
- Daily Catch: 0.20 SC, with 15 Free Plays extra on day 7.
- Daily Playback: 5% from your previous day’s played coins, up to 100,000 GC / 100 SC.
A word of caution: There’s a risk of missing the playback bonus if you don’t expressly navigate to the section and click on it, although SweepShark is doing a good job in populating the Notifications center with the latest promo reminders and offers.
Another way of winning free rewards is through SweepShark’s refer-a-friend campaign. Share your referral link on social media and you can get 500,000 GC + 20 SC, while your friend gets 400,000 GS + 5 SC, after first purchasing GCs for $29.99+.
As a new player, you can also get a first purchase offer of 2,000,000 GC + 100 free SC, for a deposit of $49.99.
Collecting SCs will unlock scratch cards in the Chill & Scratch promotion. Here, the ultimate goal is to reveal a shell with up to 75 SC.
An unique event worth mentioning is The Shark League. This is a daily event where you team up with other members to try to win a bigger prize pool of either Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins or both. The rewards scheme is double compared to the regular tournaments on the site (called “Battles”), and the chances to win are higher, thanks to its collaborative play.
Bonus rating
- Entertaining battles
- Good sized free offers
- 5% playback daily
- VIP section not active
A lot of good things are happening in the bonus area of SweepShark casino. Great sign up offers, a referral bonus of 500,000 GC +20 SC per friend, multiple events with scratch cards, free play ladders or daily login gifts.
The no-purchase welcome offer totalling 200,00 GC + 3 SC is right up there next to bigger players on the market.
As for the first purchase welcome bonus – 50% off for up to 2 million GC + 100 SC at $49.99 – this is not an offer to skimp over.
I’d like to see more action in the free rewards section: while I salute the 5% daily playback – something that reputable brands such as Chumba casino don’t have – I’m disappointed to see it’s set to such a low percentage: 10% would have made it worth the hassle.
One last note here about the VIP section: it’s still pending activation even after some time has already passed since its announcement. In my account settings, there’s a message stating that the VIP program is “coming soon”.
Pick from 1,100+ games at SweepShark
SweepShark casino’s gamebase is resting at a little over 1,100 slot games. The casino only offers slots, so for those who enjoy table games or live casino experiences, alternative platforms will be necessary.
All of them are slot games, grouped in a few collections: Asian, Wild Wild West, Fruits, Lucky 7 or Diamonds.
In terms of winning mechanics, you will find a handful of slots with Megaways and jackpots.
You can also choose from fish games including the Big Catch series.

SweepShark might also leave you hanging in terms of specialty games like Plinko, Keno, Crash games of Hi-Lo.
The casino provides no information regarding its average RTP, neither in the footer nor within some of the game settings. NetGame is one of the providers that lists this data at the end of the in-game info guide. Based on the provider list and some available data, an RTP of 95%-96% is the average.
Games rating
- Growing slots base
- 16 fish games
- No table games
- No arcade game
I like how game base at SweepShark casino keeps evolving. During my testing, an average of five slots per day were being added to the collection. But more game types are needed to supplement the already rich slots database. I’m thinking of at least RNG table games like blackjack or roulette, and arcade games like Slingo or Hi-Lo.
My favorite games at SweepShark are the Bonus Buy titles, and these are abundant. I recommend giving a go to the Rich Piggies slots from NetGame – not only do they have the bonus buy option, but they also come with four different jackpots, where you can win up to 5,000 coins.
I also did not like that the casino defaulted my balance to Sweeps Coins Mode when I started testing games and minimum play amounts. It resets every time I start a new session on the site. By comparison, at WoW Vegas, I am asked to choose between the two currencies before accessing the game, and I am also informed about basic slot features such as min/max bets or max multiplier. As such, at SweepShark, with a Play Level of 1 SC per spin, I ended up consuming my initial sign-up balance in just two spins. So be careful there.
Choose from 13 providers at SweepShark casino
All 13 game providers at SweepShark casino are slots developers, none of them offering live casino or other game types.

Still, SweepShark’s choice of software providers is above average, many with extensive experience and multiple awards in the online casino industry. Novomatic, for instance, boasts over 45 years of history and has consistently been awarded for their innovative products — multiple times at the prestigious ICE Barcelona.
You’ll also find games from Booming, Slotmill or TaDa Gaming, next to newer established brands like AvatarUX or Penguin King.
In terms of distribution, almost 50% of their slots base is occupied by four providers, each with 100+ games in their portfolio: NetGame, Evoplay, 1Spin4Win and Bgaming.

Software rating
- 13 game providers
- Popular software
- No bespoke software
- Missing NetEnt or BTG
Some of the most popular providers are indeed right there on the board: BGaming, Novomatic, Betsoft, but I am missing the giants from NetEnt or Big Time Gaming, who’ve historically created some of the most obsess-worthy titles out there. I’m talking about Starburst or the world-wide success Extra Chilli Megaways. Interestingly enough, the casino is not ready to invest in bespoke software either.
I’m also happy to see BGaming with their Elvis Frog series or Evoplay with The Greatest Catch Bonus Buy. Do give them a whirl if you have the time.
I wish I had seen a better distribution of games between providers instead of a 50% split between just four.
It almost goes without saying — I would have given the casino a better score if I’d seen at least one live casino provider.
How to make payments at SweepShark casino
At SweepShark, you can make payments by using PayPal, Apple Pay/Google Pay, VISAs, Mastercards, Bank Transfers or ACH.
The casino does not accommodate any e-wallet purchases.

When you start playing in Sweep Coins Mode, each win contributes to your winnings balance. These winnings can be redeemed to gift cards, bank accounts or bank cards.
You can redeem your winnings only after you have made your first purchase on the site and fully verified your account.
The minimum redemption amount varies depending on the method chosen:
- $25 for gift cards via Prizeout.
- $100 for ACH transfers.
- $100 for bank transfers.
As a nice touch, Prizeout often offers bonus value percentages (e.g., 10%, 15%, or even 20% extra) when redeeming through selected brands.
In terms of processing time, gift card redemption is instant, while ACH/Bank transfers can take up to five banking days.
There are twelve purchase bundles available at SweepShark, starting from as low as $4.99 for 50,000 GC + 5 SC, and up to $499.99 for 5,000,000 GC + 500 SC.
Worth mentioning out of the twelve purchase packs:
- The most popular one ($29.99): 875,000 GC + 50 SC
- The hot one ($29.99): 1,050,000 GC + 60 SC
- The best deal one ($49.99): 2,000,000 GC + 100 SC

Withdrawal methods
Payments rating
- PayPal payments
- Gift cards redemptions from $25
- Missing Skrill payments
- Missing Discover cards
I salute the casino’s effort to include PayPal as a payment method. I’m clearly one of the fans thanks to its safety measures, and sadly new sweep casinos such as Ace.com or LuckyStake don’t have it.
I would have been happier if Skrill was a payment option, because I like to use their virtual card for online transactions in my personal life.
In terms of prize redemption minimums, I like that SweepShark partnered up with Prizeout for gift cards starting from $25. Offering bonus value percentages of even 20% extra for some brands, is also something rare to see.
While the $25 minimum is great for gift cards, the $100 minimum for ACH or bank transfers is a little steep, at least compared to Hello Millions casino’s $75.
All in all, SweepShark is within average, both in terms of payment diversity, but also payout processing times.
Is SweepShark casino safe?
Very safe. SweepShark casino uses ECDSA with 256-bit encryption to protect you, which is a strong cryptographic security that brings top performance in terms of key generation, signing, and verification.
Thus, when you verify your account at SweepShark, you can rest assured that your personal information and the picture of your ID are fully protected. The Terms and conditions as well as the Privacy policies are also visibly listed in the footer of the page.
An extra layer of protection comes from the 2-factor authentication, which you can set up as soon as you have created your account and verified your phone number.
Sweepshark also displays several seals to showcase the safety of our payments: Safe Deal, MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by VISA.
SweepShark is owned and operated by UTech Solutions LLC, who’s previously launched JackPotRabbit and further advertizes Scarlet Sands casino.
Their incorporation is in Wyoming, under registration number 2019-000846205, which appears to be the very same number as A1 Development LLC, a company that owns Fortune Wheelz casino.
It is not clear if A1 Development LLC rebranded, but it’s not uncommon in the gaming industry for companies to split and maintain older naming conventions due to legal complexities.

In terms of Responsible Gambling seals, SweepShark does not display any – except for the 18+ legal age seal – but it does offer responsible gambling tools designed to help you fully control your activity on the site: you can set up session limits, self-exclusion or temporary cool-off period directly from your account.
Safety rating
- ECDSA 256-bit encryption
- Responsible gambling tools
- RNG compliance seal missing
- Not transparent about their past
For a smooth experience, I recommend having your personal data checked as soon as you sign up. It takes less than five minutes and it also comes with some nice freebies on the side.
On a less positive note, I can’t see an RNG compliance seal, it’s unknown how the slots are tested for fairness and compliance.
Lastly, although the casino supports players with responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits, cooling off periods and even self-exclusion, it does not list any education resources in the footer of the pages.
How to access support at SweepShark casino?
You can contact customer service via chat or email. These options are available 24/7 and they are not AI enhanced.
SweepShark doesn’t offer an FAQ section which means that you need to rely on customer support to get your answers to most of your questions.
The casino does not offer phone support.

I tested the response time of the live chat in two different situations: once at 7 AM EST and once at 1 PM EST.
Every time I initiated a chat, it took over 5 minutes to be connected to a human. The responses were less than 3 minutes apart, if not instant. The answers were detailed and on point. After closing the chat, the agent also followed up with an email summarizing the topic we discussed.
Support rating
- Support is available 24/7
- Live chat with real operators
- No FAQ available
Simple information like, the kind of gift cards you can redeem, or the minimum amounts, are, my opinion, common sense questions which could easily be addressed in an FAQ section the site, without the hassle of contacting their services.
I do, however, have to make some positive comments about my experience with their live chat. Having worked as a customer support ambassador for an online casino myself, I can appreciate when operators go the extra mile. First off, it’s 100% a human interaction, I did not have to go through some AI-generated workflow beforehand. Second, after the conversation ended, I received an email with extra information about the topic that we had just discussed. The agent was already helpful in the chat, but the extra information was truly a nice touch.
SweepShark casino overall user experience
SweepShark’s design theme revolves around the undersea. This leaves room for a lot of fun visual elements and entertaining event names.
Navigation is simple and intuitive on SweepShark, with all important sections neatly listed in the hamburger menu or the notifications center located at the top of the page.

In the games area, the slots are filtered by game features: “Bonus Buy” , “Hold’n Spin” or “Cascading”, by “Popular”, “New” or “Hot” but also by theme: “Big Catch”, “Retro Reel” or “Asian”.
The easiest way to filter after a game provider is to use the search bar. All providers are listed under the search field, and you can select one or multiple providers to get all their titles.

Usability rating
- Loads fast
- Beautiful marine theme
- A little spammy
- No mobile app
SweepShark could do a little better in terms of pop-up frequency. Having to close one-two promos every single time I access a new area of the site is a bit of a mood killer.
And speaking of spammy, the casino sends no less than three promo emails per day. That’s a bit much as well.
I did not feel like I was missing the mobile app. After having done my tests on my laptop, I was able to pick up from where I was left on my mobile, by accessing my game history. I also love that I can stay logged in on both devices at the same time. Some casinos don’t allow that.
I’m now probably nit-picking, but it would perhaps be nice to understand the logic behind filtering the” Hot” games in their lobby. Do they filter them based on rising RTP or most played or perhaps there’s a different filter involved?
