Expert verdict
It’s time to round up our Casino.com review! Generally, this online casino offers the basics regarding what players want and need in an online site. However, it has fewer than 200 games, which is a little underwhelming. Surprisingly almost half of them are live dealer games.
The site only uses Playtech software, which does mean you can be assured of quality games. But, it also means severe limitations regarding the diversity of the game selection.
That said, mobile and desktop sites are user-friendly and offer all the same games. The support provided is good, and the payment methods are safe and secure, giving an all-around decent online casino experience.
Games at Casino.com Canada
Our Casino.com reviews always look at the games on offer here. Generally, the top online casinos will offer over 800 casino games for you to try out.
Casino.com has a minimal selection available. There are just 169 games on offer here, one of the smaller casino collections. However, new titles are regularly added so that this number will grow.
There is no Casino.com app, but all available games are available on the mobile browser version of the site, so you can also start online gambling that way.
Surprisingly, despite the small number of games, the live casino is large, making up almost half of the titles. It beats the number of slots available.

Game types available
Games rating
- Playtech-powered casino
- High-quality games
- Age of the Gods series
- No video poker
- Small library
So, Casino.com online casino does look great, but it has one of the smallest game collections I’ve ever seen. With just 169 options, this is the same as the small collection for Northstar Bets. Sadly, Casino.com does not have the addition of a sportsbook to make up for it as Northstar Bets does.
Okay, so you can find some of the best progressive jackpots here, thanks to the inclusion of most of the Age of the Gods jackpot series. But these are just 13 options.
I did like that I could check out the latest jackpot prize, though. It made it much easier to choose which jackpot to go for first.
Additionally, I was impressed by the size of the live casino. Technically, Casino.com casino comes out on top in terms of game ratio. But really, the 76 options here have nothing when compared to 250+ options at 888casino.
At least the games were neatly laid out and had good categories. But I’m afraid this doesn’t get a high score as it’s just too much of the same.
Software: Playtech-powered library
Regarding online casinos, we want to see games from at least 20 different providers. Online Casino.com only has just one provider supplying the entire portfolio here.
However, this provider is Playtech, and it’s one of the biggest game suppliers out there. Furthermore, this game provider offers a plethora of different game genres, which helps to boost diversity.
Unlike some providers, Playtech doesn’t just focus on one game type. Instead, it has its fingers in many pies, so despite using just one games developer, Casino.com casino can offer an eclectic mix of online gambling options.
Additionally, there are a couple of live dealer games available from Casino.com itself. This does help to make the online gambling experience even better when you play at Casino.com.

Available software
Software rating
- Powered by Playtech
- Some exclusive software
- Fewer providers than competitors
- Other big names missing
Okay, so being powered by just one provider is not the worst thing in the world, though it does put a lot of limitations on what the online casino can offer.
However, if an online casino only has one provider, I guess Playtech is the one to have, as it has a bit more versatility.
For instance, the Luxury casino is powered by Microgaming only, but while it offers more games, Casino.com wins here because Playtech offers live games. In contrast, Microgaming does not.
I will still say, though, that more providers are better. Although Betano only uses nine providers, that still means more games and versatility across the site.
I’m not saying no to this, but it does limit things. I am not a fan, so Casino.com can’t get a higher score here.
Payment methods: top-quality options
Many players often do not consider the payment options available at an online casino. The best online casinos, in our opinion, should have at least ten options.
Casino.com casino only has four basic payment methods. You can use Mastercard and Visa credit or debit cards, Interac online and e-transfer, and MuchBetter. Additionally, the MuchBetter app can deposit via prepaid voucher or e-wallet. This does give you a bit more in the way of choice, which is what we’re looking for.
However, You can use all of these options (except MuchBetter prepaid vouchers) for both deposit and withdrawal transactions, so you won’t need to change your payment option later on down the line. They can also all be used to make a first deposit.
Another plus point here is that there are no fees in place. This goes for all the different payment methods here. And they have fast turnaround times in place too.

Additionally, there are very low minimum transaction requirements found here. Also, you can make some pretty large deposits on the go, which appeals to high rollers.
Payments rating
- Trusted payment providers
- Interac available
- No fees
- No mobile wallet options
Casino.com doesn’t do itself justice here when it comes to payment options. I was disappointed to find just four, but at least the Canadian-based Interac was present.
Four payment options are one of the lowest I’ve seen, though it still somehow manages to beat out Bally Bet casino, which only offers three payment options, so there is that.
However, despite some limitations, I was pleased that both sides of the transaction were pretty speedy. And yes, I am also talking about the withdrawal times, which make a change.
The deposit minimum was low, on par with other sites. And the C$20 minimum withdrawal was significantly lower than some sites, such as Grand Mondial, which has a C$50 minimum.
Overall, though, just four payment gateways do not cut it for me today. There should be more so that players can enjoy some diversity. And that’s why I’m not giving it a higher score.
Safety features
Staying safe online is a must when you play casino games. Casinos are accountable to their players for providing this secure gaming environment in several ways.
Casino.com kicks things off by holding an Ontario licence. This proves that the site is ready and complying with all the laws set out by the province.
Additionally, it is licensed and regulated by a third-party auditor to ensure all the game RNGs are operating fairly. The site also details this, indicating how important they think it is, but there is no seal on the website.

Safety rating
- Fully regulated and licensed
- Supports safe gambling
- Various responsible gambling tools
- Nothing unique
In terms of security, Casino.com ticks all the boxes for the basics. Admittedly, I wouldn’t recommend a casino site if it didn’t offer the bare minimum in terms of security.
I was happy to see that this site ensures that all players are verified before You can make a first withdrawal. You will have to submit your ID and go through the KYC process. It’s a pain but necessary, in my opinion.
It was also very hot on the fair gaming aspect. Clicking into the About Us section brought me to several extensive tabs on security, privacy, fair gaming and terms. I was impressed at the level of detail here, and it is on a level with SpinGenie’s no-nonsense attitude in this area.
This complete openness is one of the reasons I have scored Casino.com a lot higher in this area than you might expect, given its lack of anything unique.
Finally, as you might have gleaned, responsible gaming tools are excellent. These are on par with other sites like BetMGM and offer myriad ways to stay safe.
Mobile experience
You need a mobile if you want to play classic slots or get your hands on a Mega Jacks game when you’re out of the house. And the casino you’re at should cater to this.
Casino.com may not have a mobile app, but it has an excellent mobile-optimized browser. This means you can access the games when you’re out and about.
The mobile browser is fully compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It is also designed on the same lines as the desktop site, so you can easily switch between the two.
As this is a Playtech-powered site, You can find all games on the mobile casino platform. None are missing, so you can play any game where you left off.
The mobile version of the site remains uncluttered too. There are collapsible menus, an easy search function, and the same game categories as the desktop site. Nothing is missing, even on the smaller screen.

Mobile rating
- Easy to navigate
- Smooth gameplay without glitches
- No mobile app
These days, let’s face it, I am not going to mark a casino site down for not having a mobile app. And I haven’t been here. As long as there is good mobile accessibility in some form, I am happy.
Casino.com’s mobile interface, as mentioned, does operate in the same way as the desktop site. You can find all the same features, including live chat, payment options and more.
Better yet, you can also get all the games on the mobile platform. I’d be disappointed if I couldn’t find the small game library. But this still does mean it’s better than JackpotCity in this regard (just over 50% of their games made it to the app!).
The mobile site is intuitive, too, much in the same way as the desktop site. But, I will say that the issues with the desktop site also transition to the mobile interface.
Essentially, it’s all very well that everything matches, but there are still very few games. In future, I’d like to see a larger game library, more on the level with what Casumo offers if this is to get a better score.
Customer support
When we rate online casinos, the best sites will operate most of the time very smoothly. And, even if they are working well, it might just be that you find yourself with a question or two.
With that in mind, you need to be able to get in touch with the customer service team quickly and easily. And, at Casino.com, you can do precisely that.
The support is available 24/7 and can be contacted through three different options. Depending on your requirements, these include a live chat, email, and two separate phone numbers.
When you access to support, you get a speedy response time so that you won’t be waiting very long in a queue. This goes for all the different options, even the phone lines.

Support rating
- 24/7 support
- Phone support available
- Good FAQ section
- Hard to find live chat
From the get-go, I was impressed by the support offered by Casino.com. First, I had already been surprised by the in-depth fair gaming and privacy policies, so I was already positively inclined.
Then, Casino.com proceeded to impress me further by offering three different contact options. This, impressively, beats out even some of the Ontario heavyweights, such as DraftKings, which, surprisingly, doesn’t even have a live chat.
Additionally, Casino.com stands out for also offering round-the-clock support. Some sites, such as BetRivers, still don’t provide this, which boggles my mind somewhat. As such, for 24/7 support, more points go to Casino.com.
However, I will have to pick up on some of the downsides. The biggest one for me is that it’s not easy to find live chat support. And that’s because it’s only available once you log in to your casino account.
Ideally, I want a similar setup to SlotsMagic, where there is a sticky live chat bubble on every page. That way, I can click it whenever I need.
Usability: simple and fast
Overall, the usability of Casino.com is excellent. It’s got a simple layout with clear, navigable menus in place. This allows even the newest players the chance to find what they want.
The small game section also makes it easy to find games through several good game category tabs and the fact that there is a search bar. You can find any game quickly using a keyword or the actual title.
For signing up, the process is a breeze too. You can click on the green Join button on the top right of the main page. This takes you to the registration form, which you can fill out in minutes.
The casino also loads very well throughout. As there are no major graphics in place, you’re not going to have any issues with loading times, either.

However, no game filters are in place, which could improve the usability of this online site. Currently, it’s still a case of manually scrolling through all the games.
Usability rating
- Good looking interface
- Very straightforward navigation
- Lack advanced filters
- Hard to find live chat
Overall, the experience on Casino.com was pretty good across all platforms. Consistency is good here, which is where this site beats out the somewhat inconsistent usability of PokerStars casino.
The loading speed ranges, for the most part, and doesn’t have much in the way of lag time either. It helps that it’s not graphics heavy too, and maybe the small selection of games helps here too.
The look and feel of the VIP program exist range from a white and black theme, which plays well throughout t, and you need to ensure that the text stands out, so there is no confusion.
But there are always some downsides. Make sure you check each game’s contribution percentagen’t many games, but it would still be great to search more easily for game specifics. With 550 games and a dated site, Golden Tiger still offers some game filters, so why can’t Casino.com?
Finally, there are no demo options here. I want an option to test out some of these games before signing up and spending real money. Not many sites do this, though, so maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part.
