When it comes to the main 888 casino bonus, I must say that I was satisfied. While there are two welcome bonuses to choose from, players are only eligible for one of these. 

I did appreciate that a first deposit of $10 was an acceptable amount for the main welcome bonus. But, at the same time, I noticed that players who use Skrill and Neteller are not eligible for this casino bonus or other ongoing promotions, which differs from sites like Joo Casino. 

Another complaint I have is the wagering requirements. Although I don’t use Neteller as a payment option, I noted that if you want to claim the welcome bonus of $1,500, you must meet wagering requirements of 30x. However, if you use Neteller to make a deposit, you’ll need to wager your winnings 40x. I don’t think this is fair at all. 

Although both welcome bonuses are acceptable, they can’t be compared to the welcome bonus from LeoVegas, which offers up to NZ$2,000. But I am not complaining here. 

If I have to be honest, I find having two welcome bonus offers somewhat confusing. I don’t know why the casino doesn’t keep things simple and offer one. After all, you can’t claim both of them.

Although 888 casino offers a solid choice of games, I was disappointed that no demo games were available. I do like to try out a game before committing to it.

I really have to start by complaining here because I wasn’t initially able to locate any providers. In other words, no search bar can help you find games from your favourite provider. That annoyed me – hence the low score.

Although 25 providers is not huge, it is undoubtedly more than Rizk Casino, with a mere 15 providers. However, I would like to see some games from Relax – but this is just a personal opinion.

However, on a positive note, seeing some low minimums of NZ$10 here was nice. This is also the case at Woo Casino. 

Another positive aspect of this online casino is that it doesn’t charge any fees for deposits or withdrawals. But that is not enough to push the score up here. 

In terms of deposit and withdrawal terms, there isn’t much to say here. All deposits are instant and withdrawal times depend on your chosen method. However, on average, withdrawals usually take between 24 and 72 hours. 

Like BetandPlay casino, this online casino doesn’t charge players fees when withdrawing from their accounts.

However, I only found this when chatting with the online support agent. It would be nice if the casino displayed this information. Players should also check with their bank if fees will be applied when making a bank transfer.

Although 888casino does have a good reputation and a United Kingdom Gambling Commission licence, there is plenty of room for improvement. First, I want to see the fair gaming and audit information displayed.

Although the site is fully licensed and protects your data with 256-bit SSL encryption, it cannot be compared to the protection offered by Casino.com with its 2048-bit encryption mechanism. 

The site claims its games are regularly vetted to ensure fairness, and I am sure they are. I couldn’t find anything about this on the site. Once again, it would be nice to see all this information at the footer of the homepage. 

I am pleased to say this was one of the strongest areas at 888casino. It caters well to mobile users and offers a good app. 
Unlike Dunder, which doesn’t provide all the same games on the mobile version, I could find everything I wanted here on the 888casino mobile browser. That included different blackjack versions, slots, poker, scratch cards and other games. 

All the games adapted well to the screen size, and the HD graphics were really impressive. This was very similar to 20Bet casino, which also provides a native app. 

What boosted the score here was the sportsbook in the same app. This allowed me to look at the latest sports betting odds without downloading another app. 

However, if I have to quibble here, I was disappointed that I couldn’t download the app directly from the website. I had to go to the app store and search for the 888casino app. Once I had downloaded it, I could enjoy playing all my favourite games and placing sports betting bets.

While 888casino provides 24/7 support, I was disappointed that it is only available for registered players. I feel the 888 online casino would attract more players if they could ask a few questions before signing up.

The FAQ and help section were detailed, and I found most of the needed answers here. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the FAQ at Guts, so points to 888Casino here. 

I searched high and low and could not find an email address here. But at the end of the day, I managed to find it. That was only because I asked the live chat agent. I would like to see this displayed clearly. 

I can accept not having a phone line, but an email address would be welcome. Take Casumo, for example. It offers players live chat support and an email address. 

There is a lot of room for improvement here. First, seeing the live chat icon on each page would be nice. I didn’t like the fact that I had to search for it. Also, I would like access to an email address for more urgent matters, such as banking methods and bonus wins or deposit limits. 

This is another strong area of 888casino, and I can happily say I was pleased with its user-friendliness. The sign-up process only took me a couple of minutes, and I was awarded a welcome gift – I didn’t even have to make a deposit. 

The colour scheme worked well for me. With its dark background and white text, everything was easy to read. I also found this was the case on Playzilla. However, if I have to complain, I would have liked a dark mode to avoid sore eyes. 

The menus were clear, and I could find nearly everything I wanted. My complaint here is that there was no mention of the providers. I like to see a search bar or at least a list of available providers. 

I must say that I was impressed by how easy the site was to use. The menu on the left-hand side was visible, and everything worked well. There were no broken links. 

However, one feature I miss here is the dark mode. While LuckyWins has this feature, I was disappointed not to find it here. This is something I would like to see incorporated in the future.
