Editor's note
This review is based on the operator’s current offer in Ontario, Canada. Data and analysis below are accurate at the time of publishing, but may be subject to change as the operator’s offer expands.
Expert verdict
Bally Bet is a promising online casino with an enjoyable and secure gaming experience. It’s an ideal platform for newcomers, thanks to its diverse game selection that includes slots and table games, all provided by reputable software developers like NetEnt and Evolution. The casino offers low minimum bet levels, making it perfect for beginners to ease into online gambling.
An easy-to-use mobile app caters to iOS and Android users, making it accessible for players on the go.
While Bally Bet casino excels in various aspects, such as safety, there’s room for improvement in customer support and in the range of payment methods they offer. I’d also like to see more transparent RTP and game fairness auditing info available on the site.
Editor’s update: November 2025
Bally Bet has upgraded their games selection since this review was originally written. It has now increased to over 770 games from its original offering of around 150 games. Notably, table games have nearly quadrupled, and at 164 games, this places Bally Bet in the upper tier of Ontario casinos.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Ezugi games in the live dealer lobby. Ezugi is owned by Evolution, so you know the quality of play is high.
Another welcome addition is a new mobile app, which holds high user ratings of 4.6 on iOS and 4.1 on Android.
But in other areas, we were dismayed that things haven’t improved. Namely, the number of deposit methods are still highly limited (only Visa, Mastercard, and Interac). For payouts, players only have the three payment methods they can use for deposits, along with withdrawal by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). We expect to see seven to ten payment methods for flexibility and convenience, so Bally Bet still needs to step up its game here.
Nor has its customer service gotten any better since we last contacted them. Our question about software providers went unanswered as we never got past the bot controlling access to the live chat. It wasn’t a critical query, but we wouldn’t count on a better level of support for more urgent matters either.
The review has been updated to reflect our latest findings.
Games library at Bally Bet casino in Ontario
Bally Bet casino in Ontario offers over 770+ casino games catering to various player preferences.
The slots library contains a range of themes and features, with a separate section dedicated to Megaways. A few top games in this section are Gonzo’s Quest, Bonanza, Hyper Nova Megaways and Piggy Riches.
The 160+ first-person table games cover classic favourites like blackjack, roulette, poker, and baccarat.
Bally Bet’s live section has 40 games, including game shows such as Monopoly Live and Crazy Time. Players can try out several live versions of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, dice and poker. A few live dealer games worth considering are Auto Roulette, Immersive Roulette and Lightning Baccarat.

Gamblers can try slots and table games in demo mode. Furthermore, the minimum bet size on some Bally Bet live games, like Lightning Baccarat is C$1. While writing this review, I also discovered that all the games carry brief instructions that beginners can find useful.

Games rating
- 160+ table games
- Demo mode available
- In-depth game information
- No keno titles
- Could use more slots
One critical factor in evaluating online casinos is the range of their game selection, and in this regard, Bally Bet is slightly below average. The market average is 800+ slots (Bally Bet has 570) and 100 or so live tables, though Bally Bet’s 160+ first-person games is competitive. In short, I’ll stick to Bally Bet for table games but I’d go to casinos like Lucky Days for slots.
The 17 jackpot games puts Bally Bet in the same league as competitors like JackpotCity and BetRivers, which offer around 20 jackpot titles. Bally Bet’s slot selection features big-name titles though, like Gonzo’s Quest, Big Bass Bonanza, Gold Blitz Extreme, and Starburst.
However, Bally Bet does earn praise in its wagering minimums. Players can enjoy live dealer games with wagers as low as C$1, a feature that sets it apart as many other Canadian casino sites don’t allow stakes below this threshold. This player-friendly approach is commendable.
While Bally Bet has merits, there’s room for improvement, particularly in game variety and depth.
Software: several names missing
Bally Bet didn’t make finding out which providers they offer easy. After careful research, our experts concluded that this operator has 12 software providers, one of which is for live casino games.
All these providers have built their reputation by creating intuitive and player-friendly titles. NetEnt and Microgaming lead the pack here and are known for award-winning titles, such as Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Agent Jane Blond.
In 2020, NetEnt became bigger by acquiring Red Tiger Gaming, a studio targeting East Asian players. Scientific Gaming is another powerhouse in the gaming world, creating well-known games, such as 88 Fortunes.
IGT Gaming is known for online slots and other gaming technology products. A few top games from the IGT stable are Cleopatra, Da Vinci Diamonds, Prowling Panther, and She’s a Rich Girl.

This review would be incomplete without any mention of Evolution. Evolution is a leading name in the live casino business and is a preferred partner of many casinos. Lightning Roulette of Bally Bet comes from Evolution’s stable.
Big Time Gaming is another biggie in this list, and people recognize this provider with its Megaways game engine. Megaways games provide gamblers with more than 100,000 ways to win, and that’s why gamblers worldwide love this genre.

Software rating
- Megaways games available
- Two live software providers
- Variety of smaller studios
- Limited range of providers
- Missing Playtech games
I would have given a better rating to Bally had it partnered with at least 20 software providers. This would bring it in line with casinos like BetMGM, which works with 25 providers.
I am also disappointed at not seeing Playtech and Playson on the Bally Bet platform. Playtech has been around since 2000, and they keep pushing new titles into the market every month. A few top Playtech titles are Buffalo Blitz and Epic Ape. At least Bally Bet casino does have a good range of Megaways games available!
However, Bally Bet casino has some top-notch software providers such as NetEnt and Microgaming, which continuously release new games. The casino also features lesser-known games from various smaller studios, such as Roxor Gaming.
Bally Bet casino has partnered with Evolution and Ezugi for its live casino. It’s rare to see live providers other than Evolution and Pragmatic Play, so points to Bally Bet for including Ezugi.
Bally Bet casino could have also done well with bespoke software running its platform. Online casinos that run on these tools are sturdier and less prone to crashes.
Payment methods at Bally Bet casino Canada
What separates Bally Bet casino from others is its minimum and maximum deposit limits. The minimum deposit is C$10, while the maximum limit is C$10,000. However, only three deposit methods are available: Visa, Mastercard and Interac. For withdrawals, players have the choice of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as well as the three deposit methods.
While Bally Bet casino processes each withdrawal within 24 business hours, your funds may take some time to reach your bank account. Banks usually take between three to five business days to process your funds.
Sometimes, your debit or credit card deposits might fail. You can get around this problem by using one of these banks to make deposits, including TD Bank, Bank of Nova Scotia, Bank of Montreal and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

You can add an extra payment method to your Bally Bet casino account by going to the menu, my account, deposit methods and then adding the method. Please note that you can add a new method only when your account balance is under C$1, and there are no pending withdrawals.
Bally Bet’s site does not have any information on average withdrawal fees and minimum and maximum withdrawal limits.
Payments rating
- Credit/debit cards accepted
- Withdrawal via EFT
- Low minimum deposits
- E-wallets not supported
- Few payment methods
- Limited payments information
While Bally Bet accepts credit/debit cards, allows withdrawals via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), and offers low minimum deposits, its payment options are somewhat limited, lacking support for e-wallets and providing only three deposit and four withdrawal methods.
The platform could benefit from exploring partnerships with providers like PayPal or Payz to enhance payment convenience. In comparison, sites like JackpotCity and BetMGM offer a more extensive array of payment channels, ensuring a smoother process.
The casino should really include information about withdrawal fees, as established gambling sites commonly provide transparency in this regard. I’d like to see Bally Bet update its Help section or create a dedicated payments page to publish information on withdrawal fees and limits for non-registered users.
Safety features
The Bally Bet casino doesn’t explicitly state whether it utilizes a random number generator (RNG).
Bally Bet has a comprehensive responsible gaming policy, which can be found in the bottom section of the homepage. It links to ConnexOntario to promote safe gambling practices. You can access information on responsible and healthy gambling by clicking on the Connex thumbnail. Bally also offers the option to set deposit limits and self-exclude, demonstrating its commitment to responsible gaming practices.

Safety rating
- Fully licensed casino
- 256-bit encryption
- Responsible gambling tools available
- No audits information
The casino operates under a full licence, providing a legal and regulated gaming environment. 256-bit encryption adds an extra layer of protection, ensuring the confidentiality of player information and financial transactions.
Moreover, Bally Bet casino demonstrates responsibility by offering robust tools for responsible gambling. This includes setting personal loss and playing time limits, self-exclusion, and a cooling-off period, promoting a safe and enjoyable gaming experience.
While the casino takes important steps to maintain security and responsible gambling practices, it’s worth noting that during my review, I couldn’t find specific information about third-party audits. Transparency in this area is essential for players to trust that the games are fair and the casino operates with integrity.
Customer support
Bally Bet ensures players have multiple support channels, including live chat, email, and phone assistance. Additionally, the platform boasts a comprehensive FAQ section covering various topics such as payments, account-related queries, casino games, technical issues, verification procedures, geolocation concerns, and responsible gaming guidelines.
Unlike other casinos, Bally Bet’s live chat feature isn’t immediately visible on the homepage. To access live chat support, click on the ‘help’ tab within the menu section, which will open the live chat window. From there, you can provide your details and initiate a chat for assistance.
Bally Bet offers two additional email addresses for specific purposes: [email protected] and [email protected]. Both email and live chat support functions are available 24/7; however, specific days of availability are not specified.

Support rating
- 24/7 live chat
- Phone line available 24/7
- Agents need more training
- Unresponsive live chat
Bally Bet gets points for having 24/7 live chat but it falls short of delivering the prompt assistance the casino promises.
For instance, during my interaction with the live chat regarding inquiries about Bally rewards, I regrettably received no response, and there was no indication of my position in the queue.
Similarly, my experience with email assistance was less than satisfactory. Queries related to Bally Bet’s loyalty programs and live betting functionalities remained unanswered, leaving me none the wiser on these important aspects.
The absence of comprehensive answers about Bally rewards and how to claim them in the FAQ section was also frustrating.
In short, there’s a lot of room for improvement in their customer support services.
Bally Bet site usability and mobile-friendliness
The Bally Bet mobile site offers a seamless and user-friendly experience, mirroring the ease of use on its desktop counterpart. Players can access all the games conveniently from a centralized location.
iOS and Android users can download the Bally Bet directly on their phones. Bally Bet doesn’t disclose how many games are available on the mobile app, but that it regularly adds new games that are available on its desktop site.

There are only two primary colours on the Bally Bet website, red and white, which makes for a distinctive aesthetic. The platform will log you out if you are inactive for five minutes or more.
Usability rating
- Simple yet elegant design
- Mobile-friendly games portfolio
- All games available on mobile
- Inactivity log-out feature
- Poor games library navigation
I liked Bally Bet’s straightforward registration process and its clean, minimalist design. One minor thing that bothered me though was that the site logs users off after five minutes of inactivity, which can be inconvenient for some players.
Bally Bet offers a mobile app for iOS and Android users, allowing players to enjoy their favourite casino games on the go. The iOS app has a rating of 4.6, while the Android app is rated 4.1, which is quite high.
The categorization of games by themes like “Spooky Slots” for Halloween, “Lost Relics”, which include games that focus on hunting for treasures, and branded games made it more fun to browse through the catalogue. However, I would have liked a few more options to filter games, for example by provider.
