Wanna Parlay review
The brainchild of two former football players, Jim Bob Morris and Carson Coffman, Wanna Parlay is a Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) app that specializes in parlay-style contests where the stakes are high and every pick matters.
It was initially launched as a mini-game within the wider Wanna platform released in Brazil back in 2019. However, it quickly became the most popular feature before eventually developing a life of its own as a standalone app.
With its leaderboard-based contests, Wanna Parlay blends DFS mechanics with the feel of a peer-to-peer (P2P) social sportsbook.

Expert verdict
It’s clear from the get-go that Wanna Parlay is a platform with strong ambitions that isn’t afraid to do things its own way. Its points-based format and parlay system make it very intriguing and engaging, especially if you enjoy a bit of strategy with your picks.
When it comes to U.S. sports, you have plenty to work with. With entry requirements starting from as low as $2 for some contests, it’s easy to dip in and experiment, without having to overcommit yourself.
That said, the app struggles with the finer details, with occasional glitches that do not inspire much confidence. Transparency is also hit-or-miss in places, especially when it comes to market visibility. The fact that non-registered users can’t access live chat is also a big letdown.
And while entry fees can be quite low, certain contests can feel a bit unrealistic, requiring a minimum of 50 points to be eligible. Still, there’s a solid foundation here and if you’re into the tension and suspense brought on by parlays, then Wanna Parlay has plenty to offer you on that front.
Where is Wanna Parlay legal?

Wanna Parlay bonuses
When using the promo code TIME2PLAY during registration, Wanna Parlay rewards new players with a 100% deposit match up to $250. This welcome bonus comes with a minimum deposit requirement of $10.
The bonus funds will be automatically credited to your account following your first deposit and come with a 1x playthrough requirement. As a DFS platform, the maximum win is not determined by the bonus itself, but rather by the contest prize pools.
While the offer is only available to players where paid-entry contests are legal, Wanna Parlay also has a recurring reward for its free-to-play version. With no purchase required, users get one free contest entry every day just for logging in, with no code needed.

Elsewhere, Wanna Parlay’s Referral Program is split across five levels and could see you earn up to $1,369 in withdrawable cash. To take part, simply head over to the ‘Invite Friends’ section in the app to get your customized link.
You can send this link to a total of five people, in which case you will earn $20 per sign-up for a maximum of $100. That completes Level 1. At Level 2, each of your five referrals must invite five additional users (25 total), with $2 per referral.
This pattern continues up to Level 5, which reaches a total of 3,125 referrals. Keep in mind that as the number of referrals increase with each level, your payout per conversion decreases, starting at $20 in Level 1 and falling to $0.25 in Level 5.
Lastly, Wanna Parlay runs occasional limited-time giveaways for both new and existing users.
Bonus rating
- Solid 100% deposit match
- Daily free-to-play entries
- Referral reward is not realistic
- No VIP perks
Wanna Parlay’s limited selection of bonuses starts off pretty strong with a deposit match bonus. Aside from a no-deposit offer, these are generally my favorite type of promotions as they are easy to understand, and this one in particular carries some real weight to it.
After that, it’s slim pickings I’m afraid. The Referral Program reads like a pyramid scheme and although the amount seems high, it’s very unlikely that you’ll ever earn that total of $1,369. That said, Level 1 seems very doable and you get to instantly withdraw your earnings.
However, with no VIP rewards or additional bonuses, there simply isn’t enough on the table for Wanna Parlay to compete with other brands like Underdog.
Wanna Parlay sports and markets
Wanna Parlay supports nine different sporting disciplines, with strong emphasis placed on football markets like the NFL and NCAAF. Other staples include basketball courtesy of the NBA, while hockey fans can build parlays on NHL picks.
Beyond this, players can also make selections across tennis and golf, with combat sports supported through both boxing and MMA.

Sports and markets rating
- Excellent NFL coverage
- Includes combat sports
- No motorsports or niche titles
- Limited transparency on available markets
Considering DFS platforms do not typically offer the same depth in sports coverage like traditional sportsbooks do, I felt that nine options is pretty solid. It’s already a lot more than other highly-rated DFS platforms like Owner’s Box, which only features four.
Besides, DFS players mainly care about coverage across the major U.S. leagues and on that front, Wanna Parlay has you covered. I enjoyed building my entries across major leagues like the NFL, NBA, and NHL, to name but a few. It tested my know-how and kept things interesting.
That said, the absence of motorsports and more niche options makes the experience feel a bit limited at times. Transparency could be improved too, as it is not possible for non-registered users to view how many markets are available for specific sports.
Wanna Parlay betting features
As the name suggests, Wanna Parlay revolves around building parlays made up of multiple picks to create an entry. These entries are then submitted into an active contest where you can earn points for each correct pick.
These points help determine your place on a shared leaderboard. The amount of points you earn depends on the difficulty of your picks. Naturally, harder picks equal more points, however, one wrong move and your parlay is eliminated from the leaderboard.
Entry fees vary by contest, with some starting from as low as $2. The platform’s Main Event can have prize pools of up to $2,000, while occasional giveaways may offer grand prizes valued at around $3,000
You also don’t need to finish in first place to redeem prizes and can still finish in a ‘winning position’ so long as all your picks are correct. If one of your picks results in a push, your parlay will be recalculated. However, if your picks fall below the minimum requirement after a push, the entire parlay becomes void.

In terms of available betting options, Wanna Parlay mimics traditional sportsbooks with standard markets like moneylines, totals/overs, and spreads. Team props such as predicting the correct score are also available, as are player prop options.
The minimum number of picks for your parlay varies depending on the contest, but generally lies between four and five. The social sportsbook version works in much the same way as paid entries, except with much smaller prize pools and just one single free entry per day.
Betting features rating
- Engaging contests built around smart picks
- Creative parlay system
- Pushes can void entries
- Higher minimum pick requirements
A platform built purely around parlays is not for the faint-hearted and requires some cunning decision-making. At least baseball gives you up to three strikes, but one wrong move here and you’re out.
True, all your picks need to be on point, but I appreciate the fact that you can still redeem prizes without the pressure of having to finish in first place. The prize distribution system seems well-balanced and fair.
One thing to bear in mind is that a push can ruin an otherwise perfect entry. To avoid having your parlay voided, I strongly recommend adding one or two extra picks beyond the contest’s minimum requirement.
Wanna Parlay odds
As opposed to standard odds or even multipliers, Wanna Parlay is a points-based system. The number of points you can potentially earn depends on the difficulty of your picks. In other words, the higher the number of points, the less likely the outcome will be.
For instance, a simple moneyline might display 1.35 points for one team and 3.38 points for the other, with the latter being the underdog and therefore the less likely outcome.

For spreads, you might see something like -7.5 (1.17) versus +7.5 (2.34). The figures in brackets represent the points potential.
Every pick contributes toward your potential overall parlay score, which in turn will determine your place on the leaderboard of that particular contest.
Odds rating
- Innovative points-based system
- Strategic leaderboard competitions
- Steeper learning curve
- Some contests have high minimum requirements
Wanna Parlay’s points-based leaderboard system adds a strategic element to your picks that’s innovative and unique. I genuinely enjoyed figuring out which combination of picks could help me climb the leaderboard for higher prizes, evaluating risk and reward.
That said, I felt that for some contests, the minimum points required to qualify for prizes was unreasonably high (i.e., 50). It just made certain parlays (or contests) feel tougher than they should be to be honest.
Overall, I see this as quite a mixed bag though, because when things do click and everything comes together, the format is genuinely rewarding. Just be prepared for a steeper learning curve compared to more straightforward DFS platforms like Chalkboard, which doesn’t have a leaderboard and uses fixed multipliers.
Wanna Parlay payments
Wanna Parlay supports up to seven transaction methods, covering both traditional and modern payment options. Credit or debit card options are available through Visa and Mastercard, while players can also fund their accounts via online bank transfers processed by Plaid.
E-wallets include PayPal and Venmo, while mobile-specific payment options include Apple Pay for iOS users and Google Pay for Android users.

Deposits are processed instantly and carry a minimum requirement of $10. Wanna Parlay does not impose deposit limits, although users in Massachusetts are subject to a state-mandated deposit cap of $1,000 per month.
Withdrawals require a minimum of $15 and may take up to five business days to be processed. That said, using options such as PayPal and Venmo could speed up the process. A 2.5% processing fee applies to all withdrawal requests.
Payments rating
- Supports e-wallets like PayPal
- Instant deposits
- 2.5% withdrawal fees
- $15 min withdrawal feels high
Transparency is the biggest issue here with too many details left unclear, especially when it comes to providing an easily accessible list of all payment options available at Wanna Parlay.
The $15 minimum withdrawal requirement feels a bit awkward, especially when compared to other platforms like Underdog that start from as low as $10. Furthermore, the five-day waiting period seems very conservative.
On the plus side, the maximum limit per transaction is quite generous, and the options available are solid. Still, that 2.5% processing fee takes some of the shine off.
Overall, this section could benefit massively from clearer information, although flexible maximum limits and modern payment options help to balance things out.
Wanna Parlay player protection features
To safeguard both personal and financial information, Wanna Parlay uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) with an RSA algorithm. It then applies 256-bit encryption to protect data during transfer.
Aside from these security measures, Wanna Parlay also provides RG tools designed to help players set boundaries when playing. These include deposit limits to restrict funding to your account, and contest entry limits that cap the number of contests you can enter within a selected time period. Once a limit is reached, it cannot be adjusted until the time period has passed.

Players can also keep track of their own behavior by viewing transaction history, entries made, and net wins/losses over time. Parental controls are also encouraged, including age verification and third-party software to prevent minors from accessing your account.
For additional support, Wanna Parlay directs players to nationwide resources such as the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), which operates a 24-hour confidential helpline. Elsewhere, the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) provides guidance and counseling services.

Safety rating
- Contest entry limits
- Solid security
- Lacks depth
- Limited control
The security standards at Wanna Parlay are pretty solid and up to scratch, however, the RG features available leave a lot to be desired.
I was pleased to see contest entry limits alongside deposit caps, but the app still falls well short of what you get on other platforms. Sports gaming sites like 4Cx, for instance, offer more in-depth tools like time limits, loss limits, wagering caps, and reality checks.
Another personal grudge of mine is that none of Wanna Parlay’s RG tools are self-service. I personally prefer it when platforms allow you to set these caps manually as it gives one a greater sense of control.
While Wanna Parlay does make an effort by linking users to external organizations like the NCPG or ICRG, it lacks a clear, standalone responsible gaming page with practical tips and advice. So while the fundamentals are there, the overall offering needs significant improvement.
Customer support at Wanna Parlay
Wanna Parlay encourages players to get in touch through its contact form available as a separate tab on its website. Here, users can submit complaints, queries, and inquiries about partnerships by entering their details into the designated fields.
Once ready, clicking the submit button will send your question to [email protected]. Alternatively, you can also choose to reach out to them directly via that same email without using the contact form. Response time is around one hour.

During testing, the platform’s Terms and Conditions also make no mention of any instant messaging service available. However, customer support confirmed that there is a 24/7 live chat feature available in the app. To access it, open the side menu and select Support to reach out to a live agent.
Support rating
- 24/7 in-app live chat
- Efficient email support
- Live chat not available to non-registered users
- Lacks clear terms
Wanna Parlay scores well primarily thanks to its 24/7 live chat within its app. I also thought that its email support system worked very well, with an efficient contact form and relatively quick responses.
However, the platform doesn’t help itself with vague and unclear terms. For one thing, there’s no instant messaging service available for non-registered users. In fact, I only found out about the platform’s in-app live chat service through email support.
Generally speaking, I like to understand a platform’s support options before creating an account, so omitting key information like this was a big letdown for me. That said, the fact that these support channels do exist is still a positive.
Usability and navigation
Wanna Parlay is a mobile-first sports gaming platform available on both iOS and Android devices. The desktop version functions as an information hub, offering access to rules, terms, blogs, and a link to download the app.
Registration on the app is straightforward and the interface uses a purple-and-white color scheme with hints of yellow dashed in for good measure. The app organizes its content into easily identifiable tabs based on categories, allowing users to switch between sports, contest types, player props, and scoring formats.

Accessing bonuses, like the referral scheme, and contacting customer support can be done through the side menu.

However, bear in mind that there is no main search bar available, so navigation relies entirely on the categorized tabs and menu options provided. In some cases, certain stats and props may not be visible for specific events.
Platform rating
- Clean layout
- Easy-tab filtering
- No search bar
- Occasional glitches
Similar to other mobile-first platforms like Betr Picks, navigating Wanna Parlay’s app is pretty simple once you’re in. The category tabs do a good job of separating contests, picks, and sports.
However, the lack of a main search bar seriously drags down the whole experience for me. It makes browsing feel a bit less intuitive, especially if you’re trying to scan through specific props or players quickly.
On top of that, the app seems to randomly omit certain props and stats entirely. At first, I wasn’t sure if this was intentional or a glitch, but a look online shows that I’m not the only one who has experienced this.
Despite these hiccups and setbacks, I thought the layout was quite clean and crisp. With the addition of a search bar along with a few more adjustments here and there, this section would score well into the eighties.
