Editor's note
This review is based on the operator’s current offer in Ontario, Canada. Data and analysis below are accurate at the time of the last update, but may be subject to change as the operator’s offer expands.
Expert verdict
I find that theScore Casino delivers a strong gaming experience, particularly thanks to a large and varied selection of games on a well-designed and fast-loading mobile casino app.
I particularly enjoyed exploring exclusive titles like Blue Jays Mines and PGA TOUR Blackjack from the proprietary Penn Game Studios, which adds a fresh layer to the usual lineup of slots and tables.
While the range of first-person games and live tables is smaller than average, I appreciated the availability of high-limit VIP tables, even as the casino caters for budget players with low-minimum-bet options.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend theScore Casino as a safe platform with fee-free transactions and fair payment terms. Still, I’d like to see a shorter withdrawal processing period and more transparency where RNG auditing is concerned.
Games
With 1,200+ titles, theScore Casino games catalogue stretches across 15+ categories, including slots, table games, live casino, video poker, keno, slingo, and bingo.
The vast majority of these games are slots with a variety of game mechanics, bet sizes, and themes. Jackpot fans can choose from 95+ progressives, with major prize pools such as Age of the Gods (C$526,153.28) and Jackpot Festival (C$349,822.45).
Megaways™ slots are well represented too, with over 55 entries including Hockey Power Play Megaways and Millionaire Megaways.
A key highlight of theScore’s library is its set of 15 exclusive games titles developed by Penn Game Studios. These include Blue Jays Mines, PGA TOUR Blackjack, Crystal Treasure, and theScore Bet Video Poker.

I found the game selection at theScore Casino to be rich and well-tailored to Ontario players. Considering that theScore started out as a sports betting platform, I’d say it’s not taking its expansion into casino lightly. The numbers, quality, and variety are already here.
Slots and jackpots impressed, especially the 90+ jackpots with real-time totals on display. This puts theScore on par with casinos like Wildz and Betano.
Besides 1,100 slots from over 30 providers, I found the casino appeals to casual players and high-rollers alike by providing a range of bet sizes, from C$0.10 minimum bets to C$1,000 max wagers.
The inclusion of branded exclusives like Blue Jays Blackjack and PGA TOUR Blackjack brought a local flavour that really sets theScore apart from cookie-cutter platforms. These titles felt polished and on-theme, rather than generic skins.
I counted more than 80 live tables with a wide range of stakes and game variants, which I was quite happy with. Still, since the Ontario market average hovers around 96, theScore can expand its selection here.
The same goes for theScore’s selection of 30 or so first-person games. For casinos with a stronger live or RNG table selection, I recommend BetMGM or Casumo.
The one real letdown was the absence of transparency around the average RTP. As someone who likes to test gameplay and features before committing real funds, I would have also appreciated a clearer way to try games risk-free before signing up.
Software providers
TheScore Casino collaborates with over 30 well-known casino software providers. Some of the most recognisable names include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, ELK Studios, Games Global, and Red Tiger.
Live casino titles are supported by three providers: Evolution, Playtech, and Ezugi.
The platform also features bespoke games from its in-house provider, Penn Game Studios, which creates exclusive online casino games for the operator.

Software rating
- 30+ software providers
- Exclusive Penn Game Studios titles
- Three live casino suppliers
- No general provider filter
- Few standout niche studios
- High minimum bets on exclusives
I appreciated theScore Casino’s range of providers, particularly for live games. The live-dealer selection is dominated by Evolution (no complaints here) but also features Ezugi’s Andar Bahar and a handful of Playtech titles. This makes theScore one of the few Ontario live casinos with more than two live-dealer studios.
Elsewhere, game categories feature varied software providers with no obvious single-studio dominance. For example, I could pick progressives from Blueprint, NetEnt, Greentube, and at least 10 more providers.
The standout for me was the 15 or so titles from Penn Game Studios. These exclusive creations gave the site a personality you won’t find on typical white-label casinos. I look forward to seeing more in-house slots with lower minimum bets.
There’s room to refine the experience. Here, I can filter each game category by provider, but I’d like the option to browse all titles by each game studio.
Payment methods
There are seven deposit and withdrawal options available at theScore Casino Ontario. Accepted deposit methods include debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, Interac, Apple Pay, Trustly, and bank transfer.
Withdrawals can be processed through the same channels, barring Mastercard and Apple Pay. Both deposit and withdrawal minimum limits are set at C$10. The casino doesn’t set caps on max limits.
There are no transaction fees imposed by the casino. Deposits are instant but withdrawal requests can take up to 72 hours to be processed. Depending on your chosen payout method, cashing out can take between 1–3 days.

Payments rating
- Low minimum transaction limits
- Supports PayPal
- Seven payment options
- Limited information pre-registration
- Payments page not geo-specific
- Up to 72-hour processing period
The range of methods ticks the right boxes for Ontario players who use local banking and digital wallets. Having PayPal as a payment option is limited to around 35% of casinos in Ontario, so that was an immediate plus for theScore Casino.
I had no issues depositing with PayPal, the process was instant and smooth. I also liked that Canadian staples like Interac and major banks are supported. For withdrawals, I tested EFT and received my funds in about two business days, which fell within the casino’s outlined processing estimates.
What bugged me was the potentially long processing period for withdrawals. I’m used to a 24-hour period or an even shorter wait at fast-payout casinos. While 72 hours is long, at least the casino is transparent about it.
Once you’re signed up, the cashier is easy to navigate and use, but pre-registration, I felt the Help page section on payments could be improved. It currently lists payment methods like Skrill which are not really supported in Ontario. Most users won’t dig through FAQs or terms to figure this out, so I’d like to see the platform address this head-on.

Safety rating
- Extensive RG tools
- 2FA and login notification
- Award-winning operator
- No RNG audit seal
- Data practices buried in fine print
I felt reassured by the range of responsible gambling tools available. I tested setting both daily spend and deposit limits, and the interface made it quick and intuitive. Features like reality checks and time tracking also stand out, especially for users who value mindful play. All this is explained in a helpful guide, complete with screenshots.
It’s always nice to see a casino that gives players extra security options like 2FA or the ability to set up email notifications for each login. That’s the exception, rather than the norm, and makes theScore comparable to Ontario’s safest online casinos.
That said, I was hoping to find clear indicators of third-party RNG audits, which I didn’t come across. I prefer more transparent casinos like bet365, which publicly list their eCOGRA certificate.
I dug into the privacy policy and found it to be thorough, but not particularly user-friendly. It’s informative, yes, but a bit of a wall of text.
In my research, I found that the operator has won several awards and the sports betting mobile app is also rated strongly. However, I found very few user reviews about the casino side, given its recent launch. There were one or two complaints about roulette tables from four years ago, but nothing I could back up and verify myself in my last test-run.
Customer support
Customer support at theScore Casino is provided through multiple channels, including 24/7 live chat, email, phone, FAQs, a help centre, social media, and a general contact form.
Support is offered in English. Live chat replies are initially handled by a chatbot but it’s easy to request a transfer to a live agent.
Once you’re put through, live chat replies take minutes but email support turnaround can take over 15 hours.

Support rating
- Live chat available pre-registration
- Phone support included
- Detailed Help section
- Slow email replies
- Chatbot assistance
- FAQs largely unpopulated
Support is easily accessible on both the desktop and mobile casino platform. It’s been a while since I visited a casino with the full suite of support channels available. An easy-to-find phone line is especially hard to come by these days.
I’m not a fan of chatbots because their replies are often not nuanced enough for my queries but after a single prompt, I was immediately connected to a live agent. The 24/7 live chat function is available to non-registered users, which is another plus.
The Help section contains some useful guides related to the cashier policy and account security, but other than that, this section isn’t really helpful.
I hope to see theScore adding more articles to their resources section. Players like me will appreciate finding the answers there and then without having to resort to chat.
Usability
Ontario players can download theScore casino mobile app for iOS and Android or access the dynamic platform via desktop. The web version is compatible with major browsers like Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
The platform features a streamlined layout with clearly defined sections in the side menu. Games are sorted in detailed categories, with each section having additional browsing filters. For example, slots can be filtered by provider, bet size (including custom ranges), and RTP.
Game thumbnails come with info panels detailing the software provider and betting range for each title.
The site also allows seamless navigation between theScore’s casino, sportsbook, and esports products.

Performance across both desktop and mobile is smooth, with fast loading times and responsive design. Poker and live dealer games are fully integrated within the same user interface.
The sign-up process requires immediate verification upon registration, so players will need to verify their account before placing any deposits.

Usability rating
- Native mobile app
- Bet-size browsing filters
- Fast-loading and responsive
- No search filters
- No game mechanic or theme categories
- No personal dashboard
I found the mobile app fast and easy to navigate, just like the desktop version. This casino really nails the hybrid experience of its platform, so I could jump between sports headlines and casino games with a single tap.
Though the search function is basic and doesn’t come with filters, the categories are quite detailed. I could browse slots, video poker, high-limit live tables, and daily jackpots, but I couldn’t browse slots by theme or bonus features (save for Bonus Buy).
I really enjoyed the bet-size and provider filters for each category, which helped me narrow down my choices when browsing.
It would be great if theScore Casino also allowed for more granular filtering by volatility or reel-number, for example.
The game thumbnails also display additional provider and betting range info, but here, once again, would be a nice spot to also showcase the game RTP and volatility. You need to check that kind of info by opening the paytable once you enter the game, rather than seeing it at a glance.
Finally, I’d like to see a personalized dashboard with smart recommendations to make an otherwise great platform feel more tailored.
