Expert verdict
Overall, I enjoyed my time with Hard Rock Bet. It’s a name known worldwide, and its online casino can definitely compete with many of the bigger casinos on the market.
Its game library is a particularly strong feature. 3,000+ and still growing is promising, especially when you see the variety available. You’ve also got a pretty great welcome bonus to help you get started. Although the deposit match bonus is pretty standard, it’s Hard Rock Bet’s $25 no-deposit bonus that stands out.
Of course, Hard Rock Bet’s casino app on both iOS and Android is a clear advantage for this online casino. I also can’t ignore the 24/7 live support and the priority given to player safety and well-being, thanks to Hard Rock Bet’s approach to RG and its 384-bit SSL encryption.
Naturally, there are some areas that I wasn’t pleased with. Some of the bonuses come with high wagering requirements, particularly the referral bonus. Plus, the list of games you can wager your bonuses on is restricted, which isn’t great.
All that said, if you’re looking for an online casino with a reputable name, an impressive collection of games, that takes care of you and your funds, I feel Hard Rock Bet is an option worth checking out.

The bonuses can only be wagered on slots, but there are around 110 excluded titles. The full list is available in Hard Rock’s terms and conditions.

Bonus rating
- $25 no-deposit bonus
- VIP program
- Not all slots eligible for wagering
- 5x wagering requirement on referral bonus
I was really happy with the bonuses available at Hard Rock Bet. To start with, the welcome bonus is a pretty good deal. A $25 no deposit gift from the casino is a nice added touch, and stands out as pretty unique on the market. The 1x wagering requirement is pretty fair, although the 10x wagering requirement on the deposit match bonus might feel a little high.
When it came to wagering requirements, the bonus I had the most issue with was the referral bonus. That bonus, once your friend has made their initial $20 deposit, awards $50 to both parties, which needs to be wagered 5x.
The 5x wagering requirement is actually pretty harsh considering your friend has already had to deposit $20, and then has to wager their $50 bonus. Wagering $50 5x means you need to $250. Realistically, this wagering requirement shouldn’t be more than 1x.
I also didn’t like that there’s a specific list of slots that are eligible for wagering the welcome bonus. There’s quite a lot of games on the list, too, and it just limits players by not allowing them to play the games they want at the start of their casino journey.
Besides these two areas, overall I feel Hard Rock Bet has a good bonus offering. The 10 Million Bonus Spins is a great campaign, and gives players different avenues to play and get bonuses from. It seems to be the only way to win bonus spins, so it’s good to have around. Hard Rock Bet’s also got its VIP club, which is a clear attraction for players and comes with decent, regular rewards.

There are over 3,000 games at Hard Rock Bet. There’s a combination of slots, live dealer games, video poker, and table games.

Hard Rock Bet has 2,800+ slots, covering a variety of themes like fishing games, pirates, Egyptian, gems, and adventure. There are also almost 200 progressive jackpots. If you want something unique, Hard Rock Bet has a few exclusive slots, too, like Hard Rock Gold Blitz and Hard Rock Respins.

There are around 100 table games at Hard Rock Bet, providing an adequate selection for fans of the classic RNG casino games. This includes variants of blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker.
In the live casino section, there are over 70 games available. Players can choose from a selection of live dealer tables for roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, craps, and Sic Bo. There are some game shows available too.

There really isn’t much to complain about when it comes to the game library at Hard Rock Bet. The casino has over 3,000 games, and that selection is packed with variety in every corner. Including the live casino area, which contains a great selection of live games, including poker tables. We’ve even got some exclusive slots!
It’s coming hot on the heels of other big casinos in the market, like BetMGM, which has over 6,000 games. That being said, the two casinos are on par when it comes to live games and table games.
I think there’s room for Hard Rock Bet to include more table games and live games though, to balance out the slot to table game ratio. When there are 3,000+ games and not even 500 of them account for combined table games and live games, the game library will feel very slot heavy.
Software providers for Hard Rock Bet
Hard Rock Bet has 50+ providers. This includes top names like NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, IGT, and Playtech. The live games section is catered for by Playtech and Evolution. Both of these software providers provide 24/7 high-quality streams of live dealer tables.

Software rating
- 50+ providers

When you see how many software providers Hard Rock Bet works with, you can understand why it offers such a great variety of games.
50+ providers is impressive, especially when you compare it to big names like Borgata, which only has 21+ providers on its list.
Besides the quantity, Hard Rock Bet also works with quality providers. Top names like NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Playtech, are all big green flags and they guarantee quality games at the online casino.
This also goes for the live casino section. Two live casino providers isn’t so common, and having games from both Playtech and Evolution is a good sign. For fans of live dealer tables, they should be happy with the high-quality streams available.

Hard Rock Bet’s deposit methods are Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Trustly, PayPal, Venmo, Play+, and Cash at Cage. There’s a minimum deposit of $20, but there isn’t a maximum deposit listed. Deposits are instant, except for Trustly, which can take up to three days.

Payments rating
- 10 payment methods
- Fast withdrawals
- High $20 min deposit
- Limited withdrawal options
Hard Rock Bet does well when it comes to payments. I was happy with the range available, and nine payment options is pretty good. It’s not far off from popular casinos like SugarHouse, which has 11 payment methods.
That being said, the withdrawal time is a little slower than SugarHouse, which takes between five and 24 hours. I’ll take 24–48 hours, though. It’s not that long a wait, and when you compare it to Caesars, which takes 72 hours or longer, it actually pretty fast.
Hard Rock Bet’s minimum deposit does feel a bit high. $20 seems a lot for a minimum deposit, and isn’t so accessible to all players. Horseshoe, for instance, has a minimum deposit of just $10, which is much better.
I was also hoping for some more payment options when it came to withdrawals. What’s available is good, reliable, and fast, but credit cards aren’t included at all. You can use Trustly for bank transfers, which is great, but the withdrawal options are still pretty e-wallet heavy.
Is Hard Rock Bet safe?
Hard Rock Bet online casino is owned and operated by Seminole Hard Rock Digital, LLC. It’s a worldwide recognized brand that players will be familiar with before hearing about the casino, too.
All players must be 21 and over to play and need to undergo age verification. The online casino is available only in New Jersey, and to players physically located in New Jersey.
The casino has 384-bit SSL encryption with ECDSA technology, showing it prioritizes security. It also works with known and reputable providers, meaning the games available will be regularly audited for their RNGs and RTPs.

Hard Rock Bet’s RG page lists numerous resources for players to use when they need to reach out for professional help. This includes NCPGambling, and links to local resources for Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, Florida, and Illinois.
When it comes to RG tools, Hard Rock Bet offers deposit, wager, and session limits. Deposit and wager limits are used to restrict deposits and wagers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Session limits allow you to restrict how long a single session is, and immediately log you out once you’ve reached that limit. Session reminders can also pop up to track how long you’ve been playing.
If you need to take a break, you can use timeouts and self-exclusion. Timeouts are available for a short period, where players can log in and withdraw funds from their accounts but can’t make deposits or wagers.
Self-exclusion allows players to close their accounts for an extended timeframe, blocking all access to Hard Rock Bet and the app.

Safety rating
- 384-bit SSL
- 6 RG tools
- Elliptic-curve cryptography
- Time limits for self-exclusion not defined
The security at Hard Rock Bet is next level. Many online casinos invest in 256-bit SSL encryption, so I was surprised to find Hard Rock Bet has gone a step further and has 384-bit. It signals to me that Hard Rock Bet really prioritizes the safety of its online casino, its players, and their funds.
It’s also a widely recognized brand, so doing something like this works to protect the integrity of the brand. It strikes a good note.
Hard Rock Bet is also prioritizing player well-being when it comes to its RG approach. Six RG tools and a dedicated page are all great to have. I was happy with the available tools, too. The limit settings are essential to help players play within their means.
I’m glad there are both timeouts and self-exclusion. What I would have liked is more detail on the RG page about how long these two breaks last. Self-exclusion is typically longer, and can often be permanent, but it’s important to have all the details up front to have a more informed RG experience.
Reaching out to support at Hard Rock Bet
Hard Rock Bet has 24/7 support available. You can reach out to the support team via the live chat or by email. The live chat has a much faster response time, and is a reliable way of getting support.
There’s also a basic FAQs at the bottom of the site. This covers standard basic questions, such as general safety, withdrawals, age requirements, and playing in New Jersey.

In the Help Center, you’ll find the FAQs, along with the buttons to access the live chat and email. When you open the live chat, you’ll first speak with Hard Rock’s digital assistant, which is a chatbot. The bot can help answer basic questions, similar to the FAQs. When you need to, you can request a human agent.
Hard Rock Bet doesn’t have phone support or a ticketing system.
Support rating
- 24/7 live chat support
- 3 support methods available
- Fast and detailed replies
- No phone support
When it comes to live support at online casinos, 24/7 support is always a win in my book. Especially if the responses received from the live agents are detailed and useful. Hard Rock Bet luckily offers this experience, and with such a big name, I’d have been disappointed if it didn’t.
Response times are fast, which is a good sign. After speaking to the chatbot for a bit, which works like an extension of the FAQs, you can be put through to a human agent in a few minutes. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the experience, and felt it was a reliable way of getting help.
What’s missing from this picture is phone support, which I know many players look out for. If the level of customer support, and having phone support specifically, is an important factor for you, I’d recommend trying Tropicana. It offers 24/7 live chat, email support, and phone support.
The usability of Hard Rock Bet’s platform
Hard Rock Bet has a clean white and purple design. Its layout is inviting, facilitating straightforward navigation. All the games are laid out with large, vibrant tiles, making browsing for games much easier.

There’s also the sidebar menu with handy shortcuts to the main sections of the games lobby. The navbar has shortcuts to move between casino games and sportsbook.
The games lobby has a variety of filters, including 24/7 jackpots, Hard Rock’s Picks, live dealer, slots, card and table, and newly added. You can also filter games according to the provider or use the search bar to look for a game directly.

For mobile users, there’s an app available on both iOS and Android. The app is responsive and adjusts its design to work well on smaller screens. The incorporated touchscreen technology functions properly and comfortably.
Usability rating
- iOS and Android app
- User-friendly navigation

- Cannot browse site without making an account
Hard Rock Bet has designed its online casino to make it as straightforward as possible for players to find what they’re looking for, especially when it comes to games. The number of filters available is great to see. When you have thousands of games, you need to have as many filters as possible to help break down the searching process.
The design is also quite appealing. It’s sleek and modern, and let’s the games and bonuses speak for themselves.
What earns Hard Rock Bet big points, however, is having a casino app that’s available on both iOS and Android devices. The apps runs really well, and hasn’t compromised on functionality or design either. It’s a strong contender for being one of the best on the market. If you’re a player who enjoys playing on the go, you’ll appreciate this app.
