The second bonus feature is Wilds. Where free spins aren’t triggered and a win is possible, the free spins symbol will spin on itself like a coin to reveal the Wild symbol. This symbol can substitute for any symbol, except the free spins symbol, to create wins.
I think almost every slot should have a free spins round, but when it’s the only bonus feature available, it’s pretty basic. It’s in keeping with the style of this retro, classic slot, but that doesn’t make it engaging.
Luckily, it’s a feature that triggers relatively frequently on the Rainbow Riches slot. After playing for 20 minutes, I triggered my first free spins round with three symbols. I was awarded 10 free spins, where I won $3.35 on a bet of $0.10, which is pretty good.
I liked the way the free spins symbol doubled up at the Wild. It’s a fun detail, but more than that, it means that even if you didn’t trigger any free spins on that round, at least you might land a win.

The Rainbow Riches slot is a good option for players who prefer the retro vibe but are still looking for rewarding payouts. That being said, there’s plenty of room for the Rainbow Riches slot to improve, like adding new bonus features and upping the animations, or refining the visuals.
