Play’n GO has continued to refine its audiovisuals, and you can see it in Reactoonz 100, where the toonz are smoother, brighter, and more detailed. Little touches like the baby Gargantoon yawning and napping in the Quantum Charger, and the toonz on the reels chatting while waiting for you to spin, are part of what makes this game so quirky.
That being said, the toonz had more personality in Reactoonz, where they blinked, yawned, and moved their eyes. The laser beam is a highly animated detail in the game, dishing out the various bonus features when triggered. This iteration also comes with a soothing, space-like background track that creates some atmosphere.
The bonus features are what make this game great: a highly engaging, fast-moving slot, played across a 7×7 grid. It’s now a tried and tested formula that Play’n GO keeps building on. The 100x multiplier is the latest bonus feature, taking the maximum win up to 10,000x.

My Reactoonz 100 slot review will cover the important areas of this slot to give you the full picture before you start playing. I’ll discuss the slot’s RTP and its volatility, the bonus features, and its payouts. At the end, I’ll also cover how the slot works and how to get going.
RTP and volatility
Reactoonz 100 has an RTP of 96.2% and high volatility. Like its predecessors, Reactoonz 100 also has a 7×7 grid that allows cluster wins to happen anywhere. The only requirement is that the matching symbols are touching.

Cluster wins trigger the cascading reels mechanism, where the winning symbols disappear and new symbols fall into the empty symbol positions, to hopefully create further wins. When all the cascades are complete, you can spin the reels again.
The Reactoonz series has definitely been consistent when it comes to RTP and volatility. Like the previous two slots, Reactoonz 100 has an RTP that’s in line with the industry average, at 96.2%, and it’s got high volatility.
My experience here was the same as with the other two slots: the game feels quite balanced for a high volatility slot. That doesn’t mean the volatility can’t catch you off guard, though, so always place your bets carefully.
The cluster wins and cascading reels are another consistent feature in the Reactoonz series. It’s a pairing that works well, and if I’m honest, it makes for a more engaging game than the typical reel spinning. Plus, cluster wins tend to pop up more frequently than being bound to a payline.

Instability
With every non-winning initial spin, before cascading reels kick in, there’s the chance for 4-8 Wilds to appear on the reels.
Wilds
The Wild symbols are different-sized Gargantoonz, with one, two, or multiple horns. The Wilds substitute for all symbols, but they can’t be selected to be energized symbols and aren’t affected by the Quantum features.
Quantum Charger
The Quantum Charger holds five colored bars that charge with every win. Every charge unlocks a random feature, which will be added to the queue after winning on 25 symbols. Once there are no more wins or cascades available, the queued features will be triggered. The fifth feature is always the Gargantoon.
The four features are:
- Implosion: transforms three to six symbols into Wilds, while also destroying any adjacent symbols.
- Demolition: destroys all one-eyed symbols and all matching symbols.
- Incision: cuts a Wild symbol into the center, and creates two intersecting diagonal lines across the grid. Both lines will hold the same symbol, which has been chosen randomly.
- Alteration: chooses a random one-eyed symbol, and all matching symbols will transform into another symbol.
Gargantoon
When the Gargantoon is triggered, it leaves the Quantum Charger and appears on the grid as eight Wild symbols. These then merge into two big 2×2 Wilds. With another cascade, the Garganton will become one 3×3 Wild. The Gargantoon can never be chosen as the Energized Toon.
Energized Toon
The Energized Toon is first selected when the multiplier reaches x2, with a new one selected for each new cascade. Any cluster win that includes an Energized Toon will be multiplied by the current multiplier.
Multiplier
Reactoonz 100 has a multiplier that can increase up to 100. The multiplier increases with each winning cluster during cascades. One-eyed symbol wins will increase the multiplier by 1x, while two-eyed symbol wins will increase the multiplier by 3x.
Fluctuation
With each round, a one-eyed symbol is randomly selected to be the fluctuating symbol. If the fluctuating symbols are part of a winning cluster, that cluster will create two Wilds during the cascade.
If you liked the bonus features from Reactoonz, then Reactoonz 100 will be a comfortable sequel slot for you. The bonus features are almost identical, with two of them being replaced by the addition of the Energized Toon and the multiplier. Admittedly, I preferred what Reactoonz 2 had to offer. They were more effective at clearing the reels and triggered more easily.
The Quantum features on Reactoonz 100 don’t trigger too easily. The most I managed to get was up to two charges, and so two features. I also didn’t trigger the Gargantoon.
The game moves pretty fast, and while the Quantum features aren’t triggered often, other features are happening simultaneously. For instance, the multiplier is triggered with every cluster win, along with an Energized Toon. With each round, there’s also a new fluctuating toon chosen, so the laser beam on the left side of the reels is pretty active.
The multiplier is the most prominent feature in this game. I liked the potential for a 100x multiplier, even if I only reached a maximum of 38x; that’s still a big multiplier.
Symbols and paytable
Reactoonz 100 has eight paying symbols, which are divided into one-eyed and two-eyed toons. The one-eyed toons are green, red, yellow, and purple, with the green and red being the lowest paying symbols in the game.
On a bet of $1, the green and red one-eyed toons award $0.10 for five of a kind. When winning on a cluster of 15 or more, that payout jumps to $1.50. The yellow and purple one-eyed toons also have the same payouts. They award slightly higher payouts, with a payout of $0.20 for five symbols and $2 for 15 or more when the bet is $1.

The higher-paying symbols are the green, blue, yellow, and pink-purple two-eyed toons. There’s a bigger jump between these symbols and the one-eyed toons. The blue two-eyed toon, for instance, awards a payout of $0.60 for five symbols, and as much as $20 for 15 or more when the bet is set to $1.
The highest-paying symbol in the game is the pink-purple two-eyed toon. Five of a kind will award a payout of $1, and 15+ will get you $100 when the bet’s at $1. On the maximum bet of $100, that’s a payout of $10,000.
The maximum win on Reactoonz 100 is 10,000x your bet.
With each Reactoonz slot, the average payouts have gotten smaller, which is a shame. It’s not so much the smaller wins for five or six symbols that change; in fact, those seem to stay the same, but the wins awarded for lots of symbols have been steadily decreasing.
In Reactoonz, the highest-paying symbol could award a payout of $75,000. In Reactoonz 2, that was dropped to $50,000, and in Reactoonz 100, it’s now $10,000. While that’s still a big win, there’s a big difference between $75,000 and $10,000.
The reason the maximum payouts have been reduced so much is because Reactoonz 100 comes with the potential for a 100x multiplier, which would massively increase your wins if it’s active. The benefit is that the multiplier can affect all your wins throughout the game, not just the big ones, so while you’re losing some bigger values from the top, your overall wins could be stronger.
As a result, and paired with the bonus features, Reactoonz 100 has an impressive maximum win of 10,000x your bet. Reactoonz 2, for comparison, has a maximum win of 5,083x.
How to play the Reactoonz 100 slot
The Reactoonz 100 slot is played on a widened bet range of $0.10-$100. The bet is adjusted by pressing one of the visible betting options from the bottom of the game window, but you can also press the plus and minus buttons to scroll through the options.
Bets start at $0.10, $0.20, $0.30, $0.50, $0.70, and $1, before jumping to $1.50, $2, $2.50, $3.50, and $5. The values increase in larger increments before hitting the maximum of $100. Your current bet is on the right of the betting options.

Expert verdict
Reactoonz 100 is a nice addition to the series, particularly if you enjoyed the original Reactoonz slot. It has retained almost all of the bonus features from the original slot, with the great inclusion of a 100x multiplier and the Energized Toonz. Both of these features occur quite frequently, almost with every spin, so they make a visible difference to your game.
For greener players, I would recommend playing Reactoonz first, before trying Reactoonz 100. A lot of the game is the same, especially when it comes to the game mechanics, so you’ll be able to find your feet and understand how quickly this slot can move. A lot of the bonus features happen simultaneously, which can get confusing if you’re not used to them.
High-rollers might feel a bit frustrated with the lower average wins, especially if they liked the maximum win potential on the first slot. The multiplier is a very active feature in the game, so in my opinion, it is a decent trade-off.
