White Rabbit Megaways review summary
White Rabbit Megaways is one of BTG’s classic Megaways slots, and one that goes in hard on visuals. Players are immediately transported to Wonderland, where they’re greeted with familiar characters like the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, and the Red Queen. It’s wacky, colorful, and memorable.
Beyond its appearance, the White Rabbit Megaways slot also has seven bonus features, including Wilds, free spins, and extending reels. Most of the bonus features are tied to the free spins, so there’s a lot to look out for during a free spins round.
With an RTP of 97.77% and high volatility, White Rabbit Megaways is great for the long game, with less frequent but more rewarding wins.
Pros
- 97.24% RTP

White Rabbit Megaways comprehensive review
In my slot review of BGT’s White Rabbit Megaways, I’m going to cover the key areas of the game to give you a full rundown. This involves covering the RTP and volatility, the bonus features available, and I’ll also go over the symbols and their payouts. At the end of the slot review, I’ll break down how the White Rabbit Megaways slot works.
RTP and volatility
White Rabbit Megaways’ RTP is 97.24% when playing in normal mode. If you buy the feature drop, the RTP increases slightly to 97.77%. The game has high volatility and is played across five reels.
Category | Details |
---|---|
RTP | 97.77% |
Maximum win | 13,000x |
Number of paylines | 248,832 |
Volatility | High |
In normal mode, you can have up to seven symbols, and there are 16,807 ways to win. When extended reels are used, you can have up to a maximum of 12 symbols, with 248,832 ways to win.

White Rabbit Megaways slot RTP is above the industry average, sitting at 97.24%. This is quite an attractive RTP, which should balance out the high volatility. The wins won’t be that frequent on this slot, but high volatility slots tend to award bigger payouts overall.
When playing in normal mode, White Rabbit Megaways also has 16,807 ways to win, which is a pretty high hit rate. If you’re playing with extended reels, the maximum number of ways to win is an impressive 248,832. I only experienced this during the free spins round, where I did have quite a few wins thanks to the higher hit rate.
Just be aware that since this slot has high volatility, frequent wins aren’t guaranteed, which means you need to plan your budget carefully.
Bonus features
White Rabbit Megaways has seven bonus features: Wilds, bonus Wilds, extending reels, special symbols, and free spins are just a few.

Bonus features | Wilds, bonus Wilds, free spins, scatters, extending reels, feature retrigger, feature drop |
Top features | Queen’s Reel |

Wilds
The Wild symbol features Alice from Alice in Wonderland, with the word Wild overlaying the image. It can appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter, the Cupcake, and the Feature Drop.
There’s also the bonus Wild. This is awarded at random by the caterpillar that’s sleeping on the left of the grid. The caterpillar can add up to four bonus Wilds. These can increase all involved combinations by 2-3x.
Free spins
Free spins are triggered when three Scatter symbols land on reels 2, 3, and 4. The Scatter symbol is the White Rabbit symbol. 15 free spins are awarded at the start of the free spins round. The Scatter symbol doesn’t appear during the free spins round, and so can’t be used to award further free spins.
Extending Reels and the Cupcake symbol
The cupcake symbol is a pink cupcake with a label that says “Eat Me”. Whenever it lands, this symbol is replaced by two new symbols, increasing the number of symbol positions on the reel. These can appear during free spins.
In normal game mode, the reels can hold up to seven symbol positions, but with the extending reels, they can hold up to 12. This allows the grid to hold a higher number of symbols, and the number of ways to win goes from 16,807 to 248,832.
Feature retrigger
When a reel reaches the maximum of 12 symbol positions, the free spins feature is retriggered. This can award between three and 12 additional free spins, and it can be retriggered up to five times.
Queen’s Reel
When a reel reaches the maximum of 12 symbols, it will also trigger the Queen’s Reel. This means the reel will be enhanced with extra Red Queens and Wilds to increase the chances of greater wins.
Feature Drop
The Feature Drop allows you to buy the free spins feature. You can buy the free spins for the value displayed on the Feature Drop button. This adjusts according to your bet. If the price is reduced to a zero balance, the free spins feature is automatically triggered.
Throughout the game, you can also collect Feature Drop symbols. These appear on the reels and contribute to reducing the cost of the Feature Drop. The price reduction they offer is multiplied by your current bet. The amounts the Feature Drops symbols can hold are: 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 1, and 2.

I have to start by saying this is a great selection of bonus features. It’s always good to see lots of bonus features; they add dynamism and movement to a slot. Plus, some of these are quite innovative, like the extending reels, which also retrigger the free spins feature.
I also really liked that you can trigger the Queen’s Reels, I think that’s a great way to add a lucrative feature and to give free spins a really interesting twist.
However, it must be said that these bonus features trigger very rarely since most of them are tied to free spins. After 300+ spins, I finally triggered a free spins round.
That went pretty well, as the cupcake symbols land pretty often, so the reels do extend. I didn’t get to 12 reels, so I didn’t retrigger free spins and never triggered the Queen’s Reel. But I returned to normal game mode with $144.60 from free spins.
The caterpillar is activated from time to time, but if it throws Wilds onto the fifth reel, those don’t always help if you don’t have symbols that connect in reels 1, 2, 3, and 4. There are times when it was rewarding, admittedly, but there was a time the caterpillar gave me three 2x Wilds, and I got no wins on that spin.
Symbols and paytable
The White Rabbit Megaways slot has 10 symbols. The lowest paying symbols are the 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. Each symbol also has a recognizable Alice in Wonderland image attached to it. The 9 has a stack of blue tea cups, the 10 has a gold tea pot, for the J it’s the Mad Hatter, and the Q is the Dodo, K is the twins, and A is the Cheshire Cat.
The 9, 10, J, and Q all pay out 0.1x your bet when you get three symbols. The K and A pay out 0.2x your bet for three symbols. For five symbols, the A will award a payout of 2x your bet.

The high-pay symbols are the green, blue, and red gems, followed by the Red Queen. The green and blue gems have the same payout values, awarding a payout of 0.3x for three symbols and 2x for five symbols. The red gem pays out 0.5x for three symbols and 5x for five.
The Red Queen is the highest paying symbol in the game, requiring a minimum of two symbols for a win. Two symbols award a payout of 2x your bet, while five symbols award a payout of 25x. If your bet is set to the maximum of $50, that means you’ll get $1,250.

The payouts don’t increase by much from the lowest-paying symbols to the highest. They start small, at just 0.1x. When your bet is set to the maximum of $50, that pays out $5, which isn’t a great trade-off for a spin worth $50.
The difference between the lowest-paying symbols to the Red Queen is pretty significant, ending with a maximum payout of 25x. That could have been pretty lucrative, but the slot’s limited bet range gets in the way. The maximum for five symbols is only ever going to be worth $1,250, unless you manage to win with a combination of symbols or have the Bonus Wild multiplier.
The average wins were always on the smaller side, but sometimes you get those bigger wins that help you out. Just remember that since the volatility is high, you could be spinning a while before landing a win.
How to play White Rabbit Megaways
White Rabbit Megaways is a Megaways slot, meaning the game doesn’t follow the standard slot layout of symmetrical rows and reels. Each reel holds a different number of symbol positions, with a maximum of seven, and this changes with every spin. Wins are awarded starting from left to right.
The slot has a bet range of $0.20 to $50. You can increase your bet using the arrow keys under your stake.
The bet starts at $0.20, although some versions of the game and demos start at $0.10. It then increases to $0.40, $0.60, $0.80, and $1.00. After that, it’s $1.20, $1.40, and $1.60, before hitting $2.00. The values start to increase in bigger increments after that, before hitting the maximum of $50. Some demos of the game stop at $20, so look out for that.

Below the stake, there’s the autoplay button and the settings button. To spin the reels, press the play button in the bottom right of the game window.
The settings show the paytable and explain the game features. It also features autoplay settings and a mute button. Autoplay has the option to play five, 10, 25, 50, and 100 autospins. You also need to set your loss limit, and you can optionally set a single win limit as well. White Rabbit Megaways doesn’t offer quick spin.
On top of the stake button, there’s the Feature Drop value, which shows how much you need to spend to buy a free spins round.

Expert verdict
White Rabbit Megaways is a unique and wacky slot that’s ideal for newcomers to the Megaways slot type. It’s fun, plays a lot on its visuals and theme, and has a lot of interesting bonus features for players to look out for. It’s one for players who have experience with slots, but are looking to try something new.
I don’t think this would work for high-rollers, because the bet range just isn’t wide enough, meaning they could be disappointed with the size of the wins. For greener players, a maximum bet of $50 is enough, and it can still deliver some bigger wins, thanks to the higher volatility. For the same reason, make sure to manage your budget carefully.
I would have liked for the bonus features to be more spread out in the game, and not only tied to the free spins feature, but you can always buy a free spins round if you have the funds and need to change things up.
